"Attractive place and good service, but food could have been better. Caesar salad made at the table was nice touch although the flavors fell flat a bit. Souffle trio had a scrambled egg taste. Was odd. The restraunt aspires to be French and needs to work on it. Not sure we would go back."

"We were expecting to have a wonderful meal however the choices on the menu were limited no fresh fish only salmon which is a regular menu item. Steak had to be sent back, ordered medium it was served very rare; the souffle was the biggest disappointment. Sorry this once wonderful dining establishment has been reduced to a high priced cafe."

"Food and service is generally consistently high although they falter a bit when it gets busy. They do a great table preparation of a Caesar salad for two. The souffle is to die for. If you dine on a holiday, call ahead to make sure they will have their usual offerings such as table prepared Caesar salad, escargot and souffle."

"Good thing they are closing. Hideous dining experience. Not the waiters fault. We were told that food deliveries occurred on Tuesdays and since it was Monday they were out of some menu items. Like spinach! Really? Ordered drinks off Happy Hour menu then charged full price on the bill. Then told Happy Hour prices only applied to the bar not the dining room. But were not told that when we ordered where the Happy Hour prices were posted on the tablet. And there were other unpleasant events but capped off by asking for decaf coffee for our group only to realize a few hours later (much later in the night) that it was indeed not caffeine. This is very dangerous since it caused my heart to race and several of us were up most of the night."

"In a city where you normally would choose to eat out in either Sacramento or San Fran, Stockton has its one little gem with Le Bistro. Great for a special occasion or a regular night out. Down to earth staff makes the evening more enjoyable. Try the Cesar salad prepared table side. Lobster bisque and duck were excellently prepared this evening. Definitely give it a try."

"The best place for fine dining in Stockton! I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Where else in the area can you start your dinner with escargot and end with either souffles or bananas foster prepared at tableside? Everything is impeccable, especially the service, efficient but unobtrusive. The wine list is the best! I am going to miss this gem! It is slated for closure in March, so get your reservations in soon..."
