"I like to go to Polaris Grill for business lunches, as it is one of the very few restaurants in the Polaris area that will take reservations, even at lunch! Service this time was notably good... could see we were talking business and didn't interrupt or be annoying. Berry salad was excellent! I also enjoy the mushroom bisque. Today I tried the banana cream pie for the first time. It was OUTSTANDING and worth the trip back for dessert alone!"

"Usually one of our favorite restaurants. Most of the evening was fine. One of the restaurants signature dishes - pork chops - both were very dry. The sever, who did an excellent job during our meal, returned the pork chops and brought out a fresh meal in a take home container. A very nice gesture but the restaurant should try, try, try to get it right the first time."

"We were about 5 minutes early for our reservations, was still seated right away. We had a party oif six, and our table was nice and roomy, which is very nice. The restaurant got busy after we sat, down, was still not made to feel rushed, or harried.
Food and drinks came out in a timely manner, our server was efficent and friendly. Our food was delicous and well prepared.
Overall, an very nice experience!"

"I made reservations at the Polaris Grill because I heard their advertisement on the radio. The restaurant itself was nice, but it was extremely loud and crowded. We were celebrating my son's 21st birthday and we had to yell to each other in order to have a conversation. We left as soon as we were done with our food because it was impossible to enjoy our special evening. Food was good but overpriced."

"This was my first time at this restaurant. My friend and I opted for the Brunch menu on a Sunday. Given the quality of the food, I was very surprised that there were not more people. Although my friend and I chatted for 1.5 hours, we were never rushed. The chatting did come to a standstill when we started eating - it was that good. The prices were reasonable.
While I was waiting for my friend, I saw the extensive wine list. I will be returning - frequently."

My only complaint was a screaming child who's parents were not polite enough to remove him from the restaurant until he had calmed down. It was extremely annoying when trying to have a conversation. "This was our second time at the Polaris Grill. My wife has been at several meetings where the grill has catered and brought its aztec chowder. This is the main reason we go there. In both cases we found the food to be just ok, nothing that got us excited about or wanting to return. For the price point, we feel there are other places that provide a better food experience. This could be the reason that at 6:00pm on a Saturday half of the tables were empty. While the chowder was as good as ever, I think from now on we'll just get it to go and find another place to eat instead."

"I am losing faith on Polaris Grille with regards to their customer service because when we were seated to our first assigned table, my wife requested an open table rather than a booth. The hostess "rolled her eyes" to my wife. My wife did not mention this incident to me because I am stickler for customer service and she was afraid I was going to make scene. BUT the way I look at it. I do not belive my wife's request was unreasonable. The food may be great but customer service or the lack of it, makes the food bland or unacceptable."

"Felt rushed. We went for a relaxing Saturday night dinner out and felt like we were in a fast food restaurant. We had our before dinner drink, salad and dinner all served to us within 15 minutes of arrival. Also, their menu prices have increased considerably.
Overall satisfaction level was below what we have had here in the past."

We were from out of town and I found you on the website. We took a shuttle from Embassy Suites - Corporate Exchange - you may want to partner with that hotel and advertise more as there are no restaurants near that Embassy Suites.
When I made the reservation I said celebrating a Birthday and they gave us a jar of the salad dressing - that was very nice.
We will definately be back when in Columbus. Thank you!"

"Our food was outstanding however, our waitress was lacking. She forgot my husband's potato, never came back to check on us, didn't check to see if we wanted more drinks and after flaging her down, had to ask for more wine and then she forgot the wine until we were finished eating and we had to ask her if she had forgotten the wine! Not a good way to make money for the restaurant. On the plus side everyone loved their food and we will definately return."

"We have never had a bad experience at Polaris Grill and this was no exception. We were seated immediately and our server was wonderful! She was very attentive and offered good suggestions. The food was wonderful, as always. Several people in our group tend to be picky and all we heard throughout the evening were compliments and positive remarks. And....there's always a good coupon. "My husband and I dined at Polaris Grill in December and had the best dinner ever. He had the Prime Rib and I had the Special of the Night, Pecan Crusted Chilean Sea Bass. It was to die for! I couldn't stop thinking about it so we decided to go back for Valentines Day. Unfortunately it just wasn't the same. Our waitress the first time was incredible, though I don't recall her name. The second time around, our waiter was just ok but nothing outstanding. He never even gave us his name and seemed to be overwhelmed. The table next to us had noisy kids which spoiled the romantic mood. And the most disappointing of all was my dinner. I asked for that sea bass again but it wasn't even the same from before. So bummed."

"We were in the room off of the main dining room and it felt like an addition. No ambiance at all. We both ordered the filet and crab stuffed shrimp. This amounted to one shrimp atop the steak, with what appeared to be a piece of a crab cake stuck in the bend. We both ordered the steaks medium well and one came out medium (which was good) and one came out well (terrible). We had two desserts that the waiter recommended and they were not very good. Once we got the bill, we waited so long to pay with no sign of the waiter, that we finally had to go up to the front desk to get someone to take our check and payment. Prices were moderate. Polaris Grill used to be really nice. Too bad."
