"We went there for Mothers Day brunch and it was very pricey but very good had a good selection of everything would like to have had our Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's included. Would only like some lower priced items on the menu to be more realistic for the average person to be able to enjoy the good food and ambiance there. Service was excellent, quality staff and management."

"Charlie's Crab is not what it was. Wanted to stick us in far back despite request for table with ocean view. Were placed next to front door with people standing behind us and blast of warm air everytime door opened. "Smart Casual" attire required = sweat suits and jeans. Geriatric crowd with walkers and portable air. Not many young couples or children. Chicken marsala was dry. Stone crabs were small, obviously frozen, grainy and inedible. The deserts were tasteless. A glass of orange juice, which was 90% ice cubes, was $4.99 in addition to the $35 for the buffet. The best feature of the buffet was the cocktail sauce. However, after messing with a few shrimp, I gave up. Having to de-shell and de-vein your own shrimp is timely and messy."

"Staff was first class! Food was average at best. If not for the location of this restaurant and the professional staff Charley's, in my opinion, would not warrant the prices on their menu. I would suggest you validate this for yourself. I'm local in WPB and will most likely select alternative seafood restaurants for future reservations."

"Service was terrific as was the food. The dining room was small and yet extremely nice and personal. I had the Mixed Grill and it was excellent as was my wifes dinner; Grilled Seafood. The sides were terrific and the Lobster Bisque soup was terrific."

"I reserved a table for 10 online and requested a window view. I was very disappointed that they did not attempt to accommodate the request. We were placed in the back room with no view whatsoever. They could have attempted to put some tables together in front for a better view since this was for a special occasion. I had dined here earlier in the year and thought it was a good spot but would have been better going to downtown WPB for a better atmosphere"

"Charley's Crab is a comfortable place. The service was good and the ambiance was good. Unlike many places the noise level was minimal and it was possible to have a conversation. The food was mixed. We shared a beet salad which was excellent. My wife had sole. She liked it a lot and she felt the portion was generous. I had pistachio crusted snapper, which I did not really care for. It was too sweet for my taste, but that is probably just personal taste.
I would go back to Charlie's Crab again."

"The appetizers were all good , but 3 out of the 4 dinners were very disappointing. The 3 different fish dinners were very dry. The salmon was ordered rare and it was well done. The only good dinner was the lobster tail and that was delicious.
Did not order dessert as we were just anxious to leave and have dessert elsewhere.

Also we were unable to get Saturday dinner reservation between 6 pm and 7:30 pm booking a day in advance. Had 8 pm dinner reservation by default, but it worked out OK. "I went to CC with my wife for our anniversary dinner. The service was good, but the food was absolutely awful. Essentially, it was very expensive diner food. Fish was overcooked and bland. "Disappointed, especially for the caliber and location of this restaurant. Pricing was expected to be more than any standard restaurant, however, we were not afforded anywhere near the value for our money. A swordfish entree was returned to the kitchen (shouldn't have been plated as way overcooked) and when returned, still was not cooked to perfection. A grouper entree was ordered sauteed, yet came to the table in almost a fried and breaded state. A scallop appetizer was ordered plain but when presented, was actually burned. Our other swordfish and salmon entrees were excellent-the salmon being the more reasonably sized for the money. New York cheesecake was chalky and to be avoided but the Key Lime and chocolate cake were superb."

"We had visitors and wanted to take them to a nice Easter dinner and this was great. I had asked for a table by the window and received it. Our waitress was wonderful. All i all, Charley's made for a wonderful Easter Day! Thank you. We will be back on April 20th for my birthday!!"

"We've had 2 perfect lunches there. Expensive but worth it. On A-1-A in Palm Beach with ocean view. Valet parking. Casual elegance. Country club attire recommended but not as formal as most restaurants along Worth Ave. experienced, mature and affable servers. Pretty bar-- may be fun at night. Probably romantic at night but we've just had lunch so far. Try the stack starter with mango, avocado and crab meat. Visually stunning and plenty for 2 or even 3 light eaters. Fresh fish great. A good choice!"

"They try to wring every dollar out of you! We were charged extra for a potato rather than rice, extra for a vegetable, $3.35 for a tea bag, and $2.00 extra for spice rub on the tuna rather than the blackened rub (what's the difference?). The waiter was slow, forgot the vegetable and one of our 4 people ate after everyone else because the tuna had to go back to the kitchen after it was ordered medium and came out raw and we couldn't find the waiter to tell him. We asked for a quiet table and it was very noisy. I'll never go back."
