"The seafood cannot be beat! Everything is always high quality at Legal Seafood. Great view, nice ambiance (if you can hear). I was suprised at the casual atmosphere in the evening, I've only been here for lunch previously. We celebrated a wedding anniversary and it was nice but a bit noisy."

"Food was Great! Service was not so good. I ordered lemon water, got water and no lemon.I asked for some and it took forever. The server said the bread was in the oven, I didn't see any bread until my last bite of my meal. I did see another table get some and I still had to wait. Got my parking ticket from the hostess stand and she gave me the wrong ticket so I ended up paying 15 dollars to park!!"

"The food was just okay. Nothing to want to go back for. I had the grilled shrimp, greens and grits. The shrimp were very salty and had shells here and there on them, some were peeled and some not. My husband had the fishermans platter.He didnt care for the whole bellied clams, in fact they were more like oysters. YUCK!and oh yea, we had clam dip with seaweed crackers for our starter. Very runny dip with little flavor. Needless to say "Been there, done that and won't go back" Not worth $ 85.00 !!!"

"I made a reservation ahead of time so when we got to the restaurant there was not a wait to be seated. Once we got seated, it took a very long time before someone came over. Since this was our first time at the restaurant, the waitress explained the history of the restaurant which was enlightening. I ordered the crab cake as an appetizer as I have heard nothing but praises about it. It came out really quickly. It had a very nice presentation but the bottom of it was very burned so I asked for another one. The waitress apologized and later returned with a new one. The crab cake was delicious. However, after that, service went down hill. I wanted to order dessert but decided not to because it would have taken forever to get it."

"We were there on the final four weekend and their were big crowds in town. The food was good the service was a little slow due to the crowd and we were seated a little late but they were actually much better than a couple of the other restaurants that we visited that weekend. All of the restaurants we went to that weekend could have used more staff and done a better job of handling the crowds."

The location puts limits on how much patrons will be able to have a first-class rather than merely good experience. "My family had a really lovely Easter lunch here. The menu was extremely friendly to those with gluten allergies - MOST appreciated. For the first time in years my husband was able to eat calamari because they use a wheat-free breading. And it was delicious!!! Their kids' menu was the largest I've seen at a higher-end dining establishment and my little boy loved the cheese pizza and brownie. I highly recommend the braised greens, seafood casserole and the Deadwalk cocktail. Wine list was not overly extensive, but the offerings were diverse and we adults enjoyed our selections. We had a very attentive server (whose name I can't remember, sadly) and she was wonderful with our chatty son. I would go back!"

"Picked this restaurant before attending a play at The Fox. We had a group of 6 and were seated on time, served quickly and out of there in plenty of time to get to the theatre. Everyone ordered something different and everyone was very pleased with the freshness and quality of the seafood. I have been to Leagal Seafood in Boston and so happy we have one in Atlanta."
