"Went for husband's birthday and it was a wonderful experience. The duck appetizer was the best duck preparations I have eaten, even comparing to notable NYC restaurants. The sea bass I had was cooked to perfection, short ribs and wagyu burger the kids had were super tender, and the filet hubby had was also great! Chocolate lava cake was gooey and not overly sweet. All in all, we had a wonderful time with a great dinner here."

"I miss some spectacular dishes in the past BUT if I asked in advance with a request to the chef, he would make note and satisfy my craving as best as possible if seasonably available. That is attentiveness and a staff that cares. Views from within are of the majesty of Squaw Valley and resort waterfalls. On the deck, there are fire pits to cozy up to with a class of fine cognac.
Brunch is the best in Squaw Valley for buffet style. It is quite satisfying. Other breakfast nooks in Truckee serve up fare to our locals and Olympians such as the infamous "Squeeze In" and.... ask me! I have dined most everywhere. It is hard to complain about most. If I want to be delighted and impress guests, an evening at Six Peaks is a must!"

"This is a great restaurant and a great way to escape the kids and crowds that can sometimes fill the resort on big weekends. Most of the families seek out the cheaper alternatives in the resort. The Six Peaks Grille tends to be quieter and the food several steps above Sandy's Pub, the other major dining option. They have a great view of the valley and mountains of Squaw Valley. The food is great and well-prepared and the service was great."

"We enjoyed our dinner here while staying at the Resort at Squaw Creek. Thought the food and service were both good. Our kids enjoyed the kids menu which was priced fairly. I wouldn't recommend it for groups, but it was lovely to enjoy a quiet dinner as a family."

"We always stay at The Resort at Squaw Creek and have tried Six Peaks several times. We were disappointed each time. Can't beat the convenient location if you are at the resort but for the price you'd expect better food. Id rather have something down at Sandy's Pub. I won't be going back again."

"We had a slight problem finding the restaurant- it's in the 'Resort at Squaw Creek' NOT at the top of the ski hill- but managed to take the tram back down from the mountain and make our way over to the resort with only an hour lost.
The Ahi Tuna appetizer was excellent but we wanted more. The Sea Bass and the Salmon were outstanding. There was a good selection of white wine for our fish- Ferrari Carrano Fume Blanc was just right- and the lava cake tasted exactly the way it's supposed to taste. Server Simon(?) was polite and attentive."
