McCormick & Schmick's Fresh Seafood Restaurant is located at 9114 Strada Place in the Mercato. The Mercato is on the corner of Tamiami Trail and Vanderbilt Drive at 4001 Tamiami Trail North, Naples, FL. The Mercato Community has many nationally known and local tenants such as Whole Foods Market, Blue Martini, Books a Million, Coldwater Creek, JoS. A Bank, Silverspot Theater featuring 11 screens, and Z Gallery. Visit our lively bar and enjoy traditional mixology at its best, featuring classic cocktails made from scratch using fresh-squeezed juices, bottled and draft beers, or choose from our extensive wine list to accompany your meal. "The service was terrific and our waitress did a wonderful job. But, the food was at lower end of scale, my sordfish, although they chf said it wa sfresh, it had no taste, was rather a hard piece of fish, and it was waterery, so I believe it was frozen, not as advertised.

"I was very disappointed in the food, I ordered the Turkey sandwich on Cibatta and it came with ham, which was ok with me so I didn't complain but someone that can not eat Ham would. Also, the lettuce was soggy and wet and the tomatoes had no taste so I took all that off. Not good being this is my first time with the new owners."

"The service was great, but the food was very, very, salty. I had salmon... which was so salty,you really couldn't taste the fish.. My husband had the sirloin , as he said it was salty also. We were served warm weak espresso.. the machine was acting up."

"We started with a calamari appetizer, tempura-like, as it had vegetables in it. Well prepared with a tasty tomato based sauce, I thought it was excellent but my wife preferred all calamari. She ordered a new menu item, shrimp and grits ($22), prepared differently than usual, this time in a light barbecue sauce. The grits were excellent, shrimp were plentiful, but the sauce was sweet. Adding a few drops of hot sauce would cure that. I had an excellent wedge salad, fresh and served cold. It's a simple dish, but this was notable. My fish stew was full of mussels, calamari, and four or five large shrimp in a somewhat sweet tomato sauce. Very good ($28) Waiter was attentive, not intrusive. We'll return"

"I have eaten here many times before and the service would be great and the food portions were a Decent size for the money. Now I go there on a first time date and the service was not that great. When my date ordered the Fillet it came to the table at was very salty taste and need sent back. Then the second one was a lot smaller then a 6oz. My Garnish on my sea bass was over salted too! Plus I have had the sea bass before and this time the portion size was a joke for what I had paid."

"For the price, the food is unexceptional. What spoilt our evening was that my steak arrived perfectly cooked but far too salty. They cooked me another one, which was fine but by the time it arrived the rest of the party had completely finished their meals and I was eating alone. It would have been nice if they had offered some kind of compensation for this. I didn't expect them to knock the steak off the check, but something like a free dessert would have been a good gesture. However, they offered nothing
We had been wanting to try this restaurant for some time. Now we have tried it - we won't be returning."

"Food was very good but over priced - we went for their Easter brunch. The hostess was a much older woman that had no idea what she was doing. She had 5 families waiting for tables (all with reservations) in a completely empty restaurant. She loudly complained that the computers weren't working and belittled the younger girl working with her. Very unprofessional. Other than that, the experience was pleasant."

"Despite a well-appointed bar, pre-dinner cocktails revealed shortcomings: request for a kir ("not kir royale and no lemon, please"), had waiter returning with an ingredient query. He came back to advise no creme de cassis in the house. No problem, "how about Dubonet Red?" Our server returned and said no luck there, either. Wife's daiquiri request had been declined - no frozen cocktails. We might have more success at Joe's Bar, but this is a Landry's property, which I had been happy to discover as a relative newcomer to the area.
Wife's blackened mahi-mahi acceptably good, as was my fish and chips - true, hard to mess up the latter, but it was nicely battered. French fries were only a bit warm, and limp.

"Jim our waiter was great. We sat outside on a recent Saturday afternoon and he had all the outside tables and the bar. Did a fantastic job juggling everything. Small hiccup with our app, Jim made it all better though. Food was perfect and more than we could eat, took some home for late night treats."

"Ordered blackened swordfish. I've never seen a thinner piece of swordfish. It was served overcooked and very dry. I've been to other McCormick and Schmick's restaurants and have always had an excellent dining experience, so this was very disappointing."

"Always visit when in the area. Our favorite Parmesn Crusted Chicken was changed on the menu but when requested with our specification w/ balsamic glaze, our request was granted. The chocolate bag for dessert has changed, acceptable but prefer it the previous way, white chocolate w/ pudding filling."

"The Ambiance is dark, dull, and not pleasant. The noise from Blue Martini (we believe) was too much. Too noisy at this time of the year. Food was good but difficult to enjoy. Service was very good. We would go back if they brighten up the restaurant and lower the noise.
We like Open Table very much and will continue to use it!"

"We had a long waait for the food, but it was obvious the waiters were doing their best due to a lkarge party in the back room. We did speak with the manager and told him our server did a great job. Being a native Neapolitan, I know how busy the tourist season is and this year has been the busiest ever in my 60 years here. Will visit again after the snow birds return back North!!"

"This at least our 20th visit to McC's. St. Patrick's Day special meal was ordered by all. After considerable wait, meal was served cold; returned meal for a warm up. Meal returned luke warm, at best. Had to remind waitress several times that she had not yet brought the bread. Finally the manager brought it! Waitress was pleasant and friendly but inept. She was proof that you can be friendly and smile, but still you should be working at some other job or profession. Manager tried to make things right, and that certainly helped, but the service had been so slow and poor that despite the smile and friendliness, watching other tables come and go while still waiting for our waitress to do her job really ruined the evening."

"The restaurant wasn't that busy yet our sever came around only 1 every 15 min. Not prompt service. We were very unhappy. Not only that but the server failed to mention how much more my drink was , hence never getting a Drink menu. My drink was $10.00. The food was ok. Cooked well enough but lacked majorly with flavor. The shrimp scampi wasn't worth $21.99 or whatever they outrageously charged me, and the chicken Parmesan with the pasta was horrible. The pasta had no flavor, needed Alfredo, and the chicken was so tasteless. The best thing we had was the dessert with was the mousse in a chocolate box with berries. The waitress knew every answer to every question we asked her, we were very curious. She is obviously working in the wrong place."

"We had a table reserved for 6 which was handled fine. The table however was next to the kitchen and the traffic was disturbing. there were other tables for 6 open when we arrived however the claim was that they were not available. Just a slight irritation. The food was good and the service was good."
