Mercy Wine Bar
Our major focus is on wine, so the food at Mercy is smaller portions and meant to compliment the wine. Food and wine pairing is a key focus for us. Wines and food can taste very different when paired in different combinations. Our food is served in smaller portions called "Plates." We encourage you to try several different items and pair them with different wines. Many items are meant to be shared and passed around, more family style. The dining experience is much more European, where you try a few things in smaller portions with different wines. We'd be more than happy to help you through the selection process.

"Though this would be a great place try out and drink different wines, the food was bland. Neither my dish (the sundried tomato grilled chicken) or my fiance's dish (tortellini ) tasted like it had any seasoning. The Mac and truffle gratin was tasteless as well. We are not the type of people that add salt to food either, it was just bland. I really had hopes for this place and though I would go back for the wine list, I will not be going back for the food."

"I made reservations, which when we showed up, we were immediately seated. The only issue was after our water was brought as we were seated, no one came to ask for our order. I waited 15-20 minutes before I contacted the manager to advise him of the lack of service. I have never experienced this before at this restaurant. The frites and the truffles were good though."

"My mom was in town and I wanted something new but nice to try. This place exceeded my expectations. Our waiter was top notch and gave great recommendations on the meal and wine selection. We started with a cheese plate which I enjoyed that you could mix and match to your liking with so many different types. The entrees were outstanding and dessert was so good. This seemed like a great place to eat dinner, grab a glass of wine or just dessert. There were lots of seating options for any of those. My mom and I had a nice lesiurely evening and never felt like we had to flag anyone down for anything. I will definitely stop by again."

"Mercy has really become a go-to for special moments. Had a lovely, secluded happy hour with a girlfriend and both of our fiances! We were able to get a reserved couch area, flanked by gauzy curtains, and gave us just enough ambiance to make it an intimate, delightful time where we could talk and enjoy the moment. Thanks, Mercy! It was perfect!"

"This is a wine bar with food available. My expectation was it was a restaurant. Our waiter was wearing a Tee Shirt and we had more than one that stopped by, which is confusing. They have an extensive wine list that is over priced in my opinion. I looked at wines that I purchase at other resturants thoughout the city and they seemed to be about 20% higher. I did notice the bar scene was very active, so I assume that is what they are about. I could see the patio being a good attraction during good weather, but in the evening you will have to deal with car headlights hitting you constantly. There are not many options in the area, but for my money, I might have dinner at MiPiaci and then perhaps drop by Mercy for a nightcap."

"We stumbled across this from Open Table and what a pleasant, local surprise it was. Nestled in a "happening" center, it was a little challenging to find via GPS but well worth the hunt. Excellent seating on the balcony, more excellent service from the wait staff and most excellent surf & turf paired with the perfect red wine. Definitly a return date is in order."

"After arriving we were ushered to a small area that took us away from all the hoopla and ambience we were looking forward to because of the reviews. I was beginning to think because we used OPEN TABLE we were being slighted. We requested to be moved to the infamous couch seats that enticed us in the first place, From that point on we had a marvelous experience. Food, wine, service and ambience were right on point. I would recommend this for romantic couples only though. Not a place for young ones."
