Stephen Starr's stylish new addition to Rittenhouse Square pays tribute to French cafe culture, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, ideal for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Parc recalls the chic brasseries of Paris, serving classic French fare in a charming space. Red leather banquettes topped with frosted glass provide a sense of intimacy. Details such as well-worn wooden chairs, vintage framed paintings and photos and antique brass fixtures transport guests across the Atlantic. French doors spill onto a sidewalk terrace covered by a dark red awning perfect for dining "en plein air." Reservations are not accepted for outdoor tables.

"Usually it's professional, but this time I was left sitting. I typically dine solo, and on this day, I felt dismissed. I waited nearly 25 minutes between appetizer and entree, no one stopped by to say "it will be right out," or acknowledge me in any way, my water glass was never refilled, and lastly, I had to crumb my own table. Or I could have sat there with a messy table while I had coffee. Which I did not bother to do."

"Parc is such a great place to dine in a vibrant location. My family and I had brunch here and everything looked so good it was hard to decide. I had the poached eggs with asparagus. Yum! Their assorted pastry basket is a must get item on the breakfast/brunch menu."

"I took my mother to Parc for Mother's Day dinner and they did not disappoint. We had 5:15pm reservations and they had our table ready and waiting for us. The servers were knowledgable on the menu and did not rush us despite it being a busy day for them. My mother ordered the lamb shank, our waitress' reccommendation and it was phenomenal. I would definitely reccommend Parc!!"

"Outstanding dining experience. My wife and I and our two children ages 7 and 5 were seated in the center of the area looking out on Rittenhouse Square, just before the outdoor section of the restaurant. Our food server was simply perfect: she was happy, pleasant, courteous, attentive, engaging, quintessentially professional. The food was sumptuous, perfectly prepared and excellently presented, from the bread offered at the start, through cheese samplers, rotisserie duck, and ravioli. The bar scene behind us was electric with down-town professionals on a Friday end of day, while the view to the front was utterly picturesque, all combining to make for one of the most exciting and delightful dining experiences ever. Bravo Parc!"

"The view was lovely from Parc on Saturday. The atmosphere was promising and upbeat, a day out with mommy. I was looking forward to the remembered french toast and hazelnut mocho. Sadly, the french toast was "eggy" and the service this time was very slow. Brunch was not the beginning high point but the atmosphere and view made up for it. Parc, you have done better."

"Parc exquisitely recreates the feel of a Parisien bistro, right down to the black-and-white clad wait staff and small bistro tables set up along the sidewalk...with the chairs all facing out, so much the better for watching the pedestrian traffic moving by. The food was excellent, especially the roast chicken (which was mentioned in the Philadelphia Mag review). The staff was courteous and knowledgeable, if not in any great hurry...but then again, that's part of the experience of a french bistro too, and given the quality of the atmosphere, drinks and food, you shouldn't be in any great rush anyway."

"I have traveled to Paris. This restaurant's interior and decor appears very authentic to an actual french bistro. My date and I had the the mushroom soup and french onion soup-- Both outstanding! Soaked the soup up with my crusty, but soft french baguette....Delicious! For lunch entree, we both experienced the EXCELLENT ½ ROAST CHICKEN Pommes purée, jus de poulet. Outstanding! Mashed potatoes were PERFECT. Ended our meal with a dessert: MOELLEUX AU CHOCOLAT,

"First of all, if you can get a table with Ross, do it! He was an incredibe server who knew the menu inside & out! He made the best suggestions! Best drink: Basilic! I loved this drink, I couldnt get enough of it! The first time we had the warm shrimp salad which was delicious! Then the mushroom tart appetizer & the Mussels entree were hands down the tastiest! The fries were yummy! The egg white omelette with goat cheese & ratatouille was also very good if eggs are what you're into.

"I've been to Parc several times and have never had a bad experience. While I didn't have a bad experience this time, it wasn't the best. As usual, the food was delicious, however, the atmosphere was lacking. My two friends and I got stuck at a booth right in front of the kitchen so waiters were bustling about right behind us and there was a lot of noise. There was a fan circulating cold air and it felt quite uncomfortable. The waiter did turn it off at our request, which was kind of him. He was just an "okay" server. He seemed uninterested in our dining experience and we had to call him over to ask for the bill. While I don't expect superior service at some restaurants, I definitely do at Parc."

"My friend and I went to Parc for brunch after saying we would for two years. We were glad we finally made it there. The cocktails were a great way to start off, and our meals (Eggs Norwegian and Eggs Benedict) were prepared very well. But our favorite part of the experience was sitting outside facing Rittenhouse Square and people-watching. The service was great; we appreciated that they took their time between the cocktails, meal, and coffee to give us more time to enjoy the atmosphere. Although expensive for college students, Parc was well worth the price for a celebratory brunch."

"Enjoyed by dinner and I was very happy with the selection of wines. I love Rittenhouse so I was happy to get a nice view. I was, however, disappointed by my server. I had read such wonderful things about the service and I was let down. He didn't come around as often as I would have liked and he mumbled the specials. "Sunday brunch at Parc ws a delighful experience. Rittenhouse Square a tapestry of flowers in bloom, couples in love, strollers in formation. Folks lined up inhopes of getting a sidewalk table. Busy inside too. Got a wonderful window table. Service was only fair, waitress seemed to have too many tables to attend to. But french toast was terrific and the spinach and goat cheese omelette tasty. Prices wer reasonable, menu offered many choices, wine list was excellent."

"We were initially seated at the end of a banquet, at the far side of the room, near the kitchen. As an OpenTable reservation, I would have expected better seating. There were empty tables throughout the restaurant. We asked for a better location and did get one more centrally located, but I had to keep dodging trays laden with food as they were set down on a tray stand for serving. Annoying."

"It is a great restaurant, terrific food. The scallops and the mushroom soup were delicious. I would have loved to try the lobster risotto, but that was a special for another evening! It was quite chilly, and I think the windows were left open way too long for those of us sitting near the windows.
We also waited almost 30 minutes for the valet to bring the car with no explanations at all and no valet in sight for almost the whole time we waited. A little disappointing end of an evening that was otherwise pleasant."

"I had a reservation for lunch on a beautiful Saturday. The restaurant was jammed but the front desk seated us right away in a table by a window. Service was efficient and friendly without being intrusive. The food was excellent. All in all a wonderful meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and go back again."

"Parc is a genuine French bistro on Rittenhouse Square. Ambience is old world with red leather booths and lots of dark wood. Waitstaff is dressed bistro-authentic with shirts/ties and white aprons. The menu is large and varied, and the wine/beverage list ample, including very good wines by the glass poured generously. My wife had a mushroom soup that was out of this world and a warm shrimp salad. I enjoyed a perfectly done lanb shank provencal. We topped the meal off with a delicious creme brulee that wasn't made yesterday. In warmer weather, the bistro tables outside provide a perfect venue for enjoying the sights of Rittenhouse Square. We heartily recommend Parc for a delightful dining experience at a resaonable price."

"I have been to Parc a few times in the past. It is always met my expectations of an upper scale Rittenhouse French restaurant. Great Philly location, good atmosphere, some of the best service and good French food. But I had never been there on a Tuesday... Tuesday they serve up a Pork Milanese that is just the best pork chop you will ever eat. A great pork chop pounded, breaded, topped with an arugula salad (for show?), olives with a vinaigrette dressing = awesome goodness. While Parc appetizers are good, they should be avoided if ordering this entrée as it is quite filling. Gnaw on the bone goodness.

"My husband and I and two friends went here for brunch over the weekend. The interior of the restaurant is so cute. It reminds me of being in a Paris cafe. The food was delicious. I got the French Toast, as did my two friends, and my husband got the Eggs Benedict,which was also really good. I can't wait to go back again. Service was also good. The waitress seemed a little busy (probably had a lot of tables being it was a nice day and brunch time), but was very polite and helpful."

"I enjoyed it although coming from Long Island just to do dinner here I wasn't thoroughly impressed. We picked French bc there is a small French restaurant call chat noir where we live. We specifically go there for their French onion soup it's to die for. So of course naturally this being a French place we assumed their French onion soup would be good. It was not. To much cheese and the flavor was nothing spectacular. My boyfriend ordered the duck and that by far was the best thing we had! Overall it was nice but not worth the travel."

"We had dinner at Parc on Sunday evening. After an afternoon of sightseeing with other members of my company's management team (we were gathering in Philadelpha for two days of meetings), we had reservations at Parc for 7pm. We had a short wait for our table which we filled by getting a drink at the bar. The restaurant and bar (as well as the sidewalk tables) was full and bustling. Once seated, our waiter was attentive and offered his knowledge about the menu and answered all our questions. Our food and dessert was very good. Our service was very good also. Definitely recommend Parc."
