"The service was very pleasant from all staff members. The food was high quality. My husband had their signature Sea Bass, and is still talking about 2 days later. I ordered the Filet Mignon and that was an excellent cut of meat. The potato royal side with the steak was out of this world. We celebrated my birthday, and received a complimentary Chocolate Souffle and homemade ice cream....YUM!!"

"My Husband and I travel to Marco Island several times a year. We've always wanted to try Kurrents and gave it a try this past week. Boy, were we disappointed. The service was terrible. I know middle of May is already considered "off season" but really? Our server was slow and rude. The food was OK, but totally overpriced for what it is (and the small portions). We will NOT go back nor should you waste your money (and time for that matter). THere are much better places to eat on the island than wasting your time on incorrect drink orders, poorly timed courses and fair food."

"We visited Kurrents in April and had a table on their small outdoor patio. It was beautiful - very peaceful and pretty. Service was excellent- food delicious. As a note, we had to move inside because of a sudden rain and it was more lively inside. The staff did everything to accomodate the move inside."

"The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the service was excellent. The salad I ordered came so prettily presented, I took a photo and sent it to my son. My husband ordered the ribeye and I had the sea bass, which had been recommended by our server. It was fresh and flavorful. The creme brulee came to the table with the sugar topping flaming. Once the flame went out, it was softly caramelized - perfect."

"Had a fabulous dinner at Kurrents in the Marriott Resort on Marco Island. The ambiance was lovely, modern but elegant with sort of a sea theme. There was live music, a piano player who was very pleasant to listen to while dining. Chose the sea bass as my entree and was blown away by how good it was. Truly the best sea bass I have ever enjoyed! As a fun note the menus are lighted, what a great idea! Great location, great food, great service. Highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful dinner here. Food was delicious and the service outstanding. We arrived and wanted to sit outside. The maitre d Matthew found just the right table for three of us. Unfortunately it started to sprinkle, but he quickly moved us inside to another nice table. Food was delicious and well presented. My daughter is vegan and they were easily able to make her a beautiful grilled tofu dinner. The chilian sea bass was fabulous. Matthew was attentive but not annoying, checking in to see if everyting was to our satisfaction.
The desserts were awesome.

"Overpriced. Al a carte over-the-top. Sides menu was very limited. Insufficient sides for the pricing, etc.Told me Lyeth Meritage is only available by the bottle when menu had it by the glass. Then charged me $15/glass of wine for Lyeth Meritage when menu said $13. (Retail price of Lyeth Meritage is $16-20/bottle).Even for an overall very nice resort, this is clearly taking advantage of people on vacation!P.s. we were in the restaurant for 75 minutes during which the Keyboard Player played for a total of 15 minutes."

"My husband and I dined at Kurrents twice during our recent vacation on Marco Island. The food is nothing short of delicious. I had the Chilean sea bass the first visit and the scallops the second time. Both are not to be missed. My husband had the pork chop and the second visit had the red snapper. Did I mention the seafood bisque and the lobster tail appetizers. Both were excellent. If you have you're ever on Marco don't pass up Kurrents. You won't be disappointed in the fine service or the food."

"While I am not a "chef" I consider myself privileged to have attended medical school in Bologna, Italy: a gastronomical center.I have dined at many fine eateries throughout the United States from The Four Seasons of my "home-town" NYC to now Kurrents! I dined there Saturday with my wife and my friend John and his spouse. John is an accomplished "cook" and his recommendation to Kurrents was eclipsed by the quality of food, the ambiance, wine selection, service , etc etc. From Chilean sea bass, rib eye steak, red snapper, pork belly appetizer, wild mushrooms to exquisite desserts.....I could go on and on! I am amused by the one or two "off" reviews....from noisy or too expensive .While not an elitist I found the prices to be quite fair ."

"Food and service was excellent.Prices are on the high side especially for wines. Typically, I see a markup for wines of 3X what I would pay at a store. Kurrents is in the 4X to 5X range. With beer becoming a popular beverage again; it was discouraging not to see at least a limited number of brews on tap. Someone should also look at their bottled beer selections since there are tremendous gaps in offerings."

I had ate fish for a week and was craving a good steak. Kurrents did not disappoint us, we both had the 9oz fillet and it was great. The service was wonderful and our waiter Rob was fantastic.
