Aspen Grill is contemporary comfort. Set in the heart of Evergreen overlooking Evergreen Lake, Aspen Grill serves Colorado Comfort. An exceptional experience for the casual weekday dinner or a romantic evening out, the Aspen Grill has something for all occasions. Join us in the dining room with its cozy fireplace or out on the patio overlooking Evergreen Lake (weather permitting). Brunch is served Sunday from 11 am until 4:30 pm. Dinner is nightly from 5 pm until close. Lunch is served Monday - Saturday from 11 am until 4:30 pm, and happy hour is Monday through Friday from 3 pm until 6 pm.

"The food was acceptable, although nothing stood out. We waited 20 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge our presence. Then drink orders were taken and we waited again with the waitress coming by and saying the drinks would be arriving soon. We never received bread like other tables around us did. Unfortunately even though we live in the area we will not be returning."

"I am so excited to be able to review the Aspen Grill! I am in this neighborhood once every month, and this is the perfect place for us to have lunch. Aspen Grill has a new owner. The change was obvious immediately upon entering the restaurant. We were cheerfully greeted and seated immediately! That's a huge change. Our server was well informed with good recommendations. The new owner --Curtis Lincoln-- had designed the special of the day and it was fabulous! It was not just good....it was great! They are going to close for a bit to make some changes, but watch for the reopening...this restaurant is going to be worth the drive to Evergreen!"

"Not a fair test of the restaurant, because it was Valentine's Day and they clearly couldn't handle the load. Service was friendly, but incredibly slow. Food arrived missing side dishes, but it was impossible to complain, because the wait staff was too busy. Food was still good."

"Aspen Grill was more than I hoped it would be! It was our first time there, and it definitely will not be our last. The restaurant itself was so neat and it had a gorgeous view of the lake. Our waitress was great and the food was phenomenal! We love Aspen Grill and will be returning soon!!"

"Our dining experience was very pleasurable. We had a great night after we got past no beverage service for the first 5-10 minutes of being there. We were so hungry and the food was amazing! We ate it all!! I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone who is wanting a romantic night out with someone special or a great gathering place for those who want to hang with their friends. "The best feature of this restuarant is the view overlooking the lake, scenery is beautiful. The service was average, waitress' were friendly but did not seem to be well informed on the fare or to be paying close attention to what was being ordered, small mix-ups seemed to be commonplace. My wife and I both ordered the filet, which was fair, portions of side dishes were extremely small. I suggst eating prior to going if you have a large appetite."

"We really enjoyed the atmosphere & the view of Evergreen Lake. The grilled artichoke, tomato bisque, Aspen Grill salad & veggie panini were all very good. However, we would recommend passing on the carrot cake - It was kinda dry, didn't really have much flavor & it seemed like it was partially frozen. Considering the rest of our meal, I was expecting much more from their dessert. The salad, the artichoke, & the carrot cake (especially) seemed a little overpriced. Overall, I think this place has good potential. I would consider going back, but I won't be a regular there."

"We dined for Thanksgiving and had the most fabulous meal! Why cook when food of this quality is available? The setting overlooking Evergreen Lake is gorgeous, complete with outside patio dining under the shade of aspens. The food is always of the highest quality, with beautiful presentation, and ample servings. The wine list is also extensive. Highly recommended!"

"Nice setting and cozy. We were seated by the fireplace, which my wife loved. Our waitress seemed a little new but she was very friendly. At 6:45 pm, they were out of halibut so my wife had to order something else. My filet was lacking in flavor by itself but was good with the Cajun shrimp/sauce that came with it. Wife's stuffed chicken breast was ok. Dessert was very good, definitely try the chocolate chip pecan pie and split it; it's a good sized portion (which it better be for $12). Great wine selection, including "clearance" bottles. Overall, a nice setting with better than average food and a bit pricey."
