"I loved Cyrano's - we started with the baguette, mussels and the french onion soup. Fortunately we waited to order our entree because we were already full. We did end up splitting the ratatouille which was delicious as well. Next time, we will skip the appetisers and go straight for the entrees - there were so many I wanted to try!"

"The food was ok but nothing wonderful. I ordered from the specials menu. Mushroom soup was quite good; lamb shank was rather skimpy and quite ordinary. Bread pudding dessert was just ok too. Service was too slow, but waiter was dealing with both upstairs and downstairs and was kept probably too busy. Prices were pretty reasonable, but one could get better food for the same price, I'm sure."

"My husband and I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. Everything we had was cooked perfectly and delicious. However the service was extremely disappointing. After we received our entrees we never saw our waiter again. My husband had to leave the table after waiting for 30 minutes to have our plates cleared to inform another server that we had been waiting. We had wanted to enjoy a cheese course and coffee, however after waiting so long we just wanted the check. The only time we ever saw our waiter again was when he dropped off the check and walked away. No apologies, acknowledgement of our wait, or even a "thank you" for our business. Great food, very lackluster experience."

"all the food was amazing. Order the bagguette, it is amazing. would be nice if it came with dinner instead of $3, but it is well worth it and all the other food we ordered was amazing!"

"I've been here before and thought the service and food was very good but for some reason this time was completely different. We waited for ages to be seated with a reservation and no one really seemed to know what was going on. The bar tender was rude and the food was good but not good enough to make up for the service. I'd read reviews before going here the first time and it looked like they'd really improved so hopefully this was a slip for them. However, I do not plan to dine here again."

"My favorite thing about Cyrano's is the Barrel Room - intimate environment, live music, French decor (the tables made of wine cartons). However, on the diasappointing side were the portion sizes and service. Although our server was very helpful and friendly, he was rarely around, I think we were the last to get our food among the 5 other tables. The appetizer portion size left much to be desired - literally 2 bites worth of seared foie gras and pate for $27. In fact, my favorite food item was the baguette and amazing butter."

"Cyrano's was good, not great nor awful but good. Some fun items on the menu and overall flavorful. Two complaints. Our waiter while very attentive and clearly a good waiter was new and had not been trained on the menu or wine list. He will be a good waiter but his manager/owner should have prepped and trained him much more on the restaurant for what we are spending. Secondly the whole 'farm' feel only comes across in the decor or if you speak to the owner. There is no description of where all the items on the menu come from or why this is a farm to table restaurant. Cyrano comes around to ensure you are enjoying your time and the food which is nice and I always see as a good sign. Glad we went but I doubt we will go again."

"Service was slow for the amount of people there. The fish, wine and desert were great. The rabbit was TERRIBLE!!!! Completely over-cooked and tasteless."

"I don't like writing a negative review but we were all so disappointed I feel I must. My husband and I had eaten here over the years when it was a Bistro. But the kitchen (and decor) have changed to a French farmhouse concept.
The original starters are still varied and delicious. But the "farmhouse" concept of the main courses were very disappointing. We brought friends who had not been to this restaurant and this was our first visit since the concept changed. Our guests main courses were less than mediocre. My husband and I had 2 entrees from the French homecooking-style specials which were also very disappointing.
Saturday night, there were many empty tables. Sadly, we won't return."

"Two couples, Saturday night. We sat in the downstairs cabaret, which features a very talented piano player/singer, performing the American Songbook. Very enjoyable. Food was terrific. We shared mussels as appetizers. Large, flavorful. The baguettes are served with a cheesy butter. Each entree was great. Lamb shank, Pekin duck (1/2 duck). Will definitely return."

"Cyrano's has slipped a few notches since the last time we were there. The food was good, but the menu was limited - and not the same menu that's shown on their website. Service was slow - we had to ask for bread - although there was only one other table with customers. Probably won't go back since there are other better French restaurants in town."

"Great food, fantastic environment, service was friendly and nice. Our only complaint was the pace of the meal, the restaurant was not busy (open tables available) but we were rushed through our meal, so much so that our entrees were brought to the table before we had finished our soups, salads, apps.
Other than that amazing! I would rave if not for that one thing!"

"We went to Cyrano's for the first time on Valentine's Day. Granted, Valentine's dinner at a French restaurant is setting yourself up for either a great disappointment or a fabulous evening. Happy to say ours was the latter. Although very busy, our reserved table was ready in moments. We sat in the lower dining room, which almost felt like being in a wine cellar. They had a lovely man playing the piano. We ordered escargot, which was good, lobster bisque which was also good and French onion soup which was unbelievably fantastic. I am not often a fan of French onion soup, usually it is a bowl of way too salty beef broth with a floating mass of sticky cheese. This soup has made me a fan. My only complaint was it took 1/2 an hour to get wine..."

"Love the new decor with the old wood beams! Didier, the chef-owner is always so welcoming and his cassoulet always a knockout! Loved the mussels and the fois gras too! Don't miss the Madiran wine!"

"We really enjoyed the food - the duck and salmon were outstanding. There were issues with the service - but nothing that would keep us from coming back. For us, we loved not being rushed out the door, but having a leisurely dinner for 3 hours."

"We enjoyed a fabulous dinner on Saturday night. Our waiter made our evening. Thank you, Daniel! We had a later seating and he made it apparent from the start that our table was not going to turn again, and that he was absolutely in no rush. And, neither were we! We can't recall the last time we spent 3 hours over a meal since our last trip to Europe. Service aside, the food was very well prepared and seasoned. The chef--who made a visit to each table in the dining room--is obviously not a smoker and therefore, not one of his dishes was overly salted or seasoned, but instead allowed the flavors of the excellent quality dishes to shine. Rabbit rillette was a favorite starter, and the duck confit was sublime. We will definitely be back"

"My husband & I went here for my birthday weekend. Ordered the french onion soup, it was very non flavorful. We ordered bread, the bread came and our bread plates went a way, along with our knives. My duck had very little flavor. My husbands steak was prepaired med-rare which is the way he had ordered it. The waiter was very nice and brought a birthday desert, I did notice the wait staff does need some training."

"Food was okay, though to be fair, by the time we arrived for dinner we weren't really that hungry so didn't fully take advantage of the menu. Seating in the booths lining the wall was extremely uncomfortable. Dress code described as business casual; I would suggest extremely casual would be more accurate. Overall experience was so-so. Only bright spot was our server, Daniel; knowlegable and extremely engaging without being intrusive."
