Trio provides a blend of traditional and contemporary foods. Salads, sandwiches, pizzas, steak, seafood and pasta all house made and served in a cozy and unique dining environment. You may choose to dine in a lively bar area, in cozy booths with views of the landscaped outdoors, in an open central area with linen-dressed tables and our warm wood-burning pizza oven, in a semi-private room, or "al fresco" on our patio. Our restaurant is a smoke-free establishment.
"The food was good. The service was good. The ambience fair. The beer list is very limited. For someone who enjoys drinking beer, I could not find a single IPA."

"My wife and I have been eating regularly at Trio for at least 15 years. We have never had a bad meal. We consider it one of the best values in Charlotte. Above averrage food, reasonable prices, comfortable ambience, good menu. Don't miss the Sunday brunch."

"Trios has always been a good restaurant, but over the past 10 years, it has improved so much as 10 years ago was the last time we were there because we moved away from the area. It was my husband's 70th birthday weekend and we had so much fun. After a Saturday party at home, I was exhausted so it was so nice to sit back and be waited on. The food was outstanding, esp for my sister in law and her husband who are vegetarians..They raved about the food. We had a table away from the middle of the church crowd which was ideal. They waited on us hand and foot, bringing us refills and checking on us often. The staff there are so efficient and friendly and just couldnt do enough for us..We will return there for brunch often..we also like the prices"

"The food was excellent. I normally don't have a problem when we are there for regular dinners, but reserved the room for a party, and felt rushed by staff for us to finish early so they could setup for next party even though we had to wait to get access to the room. But the staff is fine on regular dinner evenings."

"Once again Trio does not disappoint! This restaurant has maintained a consistently high standard for longer than I care to remember. I recall dining here when my oldest child was a baby - next year she will be in high school. The food is consistently above average, prices are reasonable, servers are efficient and friendly. The layout offers cosy booths as well as large tables for bigger groups."

"My husband and I dined at Trio's for Valentine's Day. The restaurant has a nice setting with good natural light, trees, and tables are not close to each other. The food was ok, nothing to rave about. I would not suggest the lobster bisque. It was a thickened broth with no lobster. My husband's steak was a little too done. This was our first dinner at Trio's. I have had excellent lunches at this restaurant, so I would suggest it for lunch, but not for dinner (based on our experience). The dessert (Almond Basket) is really quite excellent. It is an almond/sesame seed baked basket filled with strawberries, mocha ice cream, whipped cream topping. Very very good!"

"February specials - Chicken Pot Pie with Puff Pastry: EXCELLENT! We ate on a Friday night. The restaurant was PACKED, however service was still attentive! Obviously, many things were right. Glad we had a reservation."

"First time trying Trio and went for the restaurant week menu. The scallop appetizer was nice but nothing remarkable. However, the spinach salad, sea bass and lobster ravioli and almond basket were all lovely. Will definitely be back again!"

"This was our first time at Trio but it will not be the last. The menu was innovaative yet practical and the prices were reasonable. Wine-by-the-glass prices were also very fair."

"I ordered one of the January specials, Balsamic glazed Mahi Mahi. So good. Trio's is a good restuarant that is consistently good. They are a great place to go to visit with a friend or to take the family for dinner. Their prices are reasonable; the wine list while not extensive offers good value. This is a neighborhood gem. So great knowing that there is someplace to go for brunch, lunch or dinner that gives great value and wonderful service."

"I had been going to a particular restaurant (Won't mention the name) every year but when I looked at their menu this year it was just not palatable. I checked out the Trio menu and immediately began to salivate. I will be going to Trio from now on. The variety was excellent, they offered a glass of wine as one of the courses, and the entrees and desserts were to die for."
