Olenjack's Grille
Olenjack's Grille is the namesake restaurant of Executive Chief Brian Olenjack, offering contemporary American cuisine with a Texas flair. Olenjack's was recently named one of the Top Ten Best new restaurants in Dallas/Ft. Worth by the Dallas Morning News.
The food is simple yet creative and only the freshest ingredients are used in daily preparation. Entrees range from steaks to seafood to pasta.
Some of the amenities include outdoor seating, banquet room, complimentary wi-fi, and separate bar area. Large party reservations available. Olenjack's is open for both lunch and dinner; as well as for Brunch on Sundays.

"We've been a huge fan of Olenjack's ever since it opened, but Mother's Day Brunch this year was VERY dissappointing. There were very few entree and side options and if you wanted a waffle, you had to wait in a very long line omelette line just to get one. The dessert table was pitiful. At $30+ a head, if you're going to reduce the options by this much, the quality better be very good. IT WASN'T!"

"It's the second time i have gone to Olenjack's on a major holiday. (Mother's day, Easter) It was a mistake i will never repeat.
They have to learn what a buffet is supposed to be. The main courses were fine but the dessert table was a disaster. The bread pudding that was advertised was awful ( my wife's favorite dessert by the way). There was no sauce of any kind. I didn't partake from the breakfast area but the lines were long and not clearly defined so it seemed too much of a hassle.
Comments from other tables around us " the waffles are the best dessert they have" and "They were out of everything" suggests a breakdown in service."

"The noise in the room was probably made louder than usual because of the not business dressed Chesney rowdies. Therefore, the service was much slower than usual. Part of the food arrived cold and not the right order, but the management made sure that was corrected.

"Mother's Day Brunch. Poorly executed with two buffet lines - One more Sunday Dinner like, the other eggs and waffles to order. The eggs to order line was under sized and under staffed. The line was long and the wait painful. The Sunday dinner line had nothing special. The meats were dry and unpalatable. Smoked salmon served with butter - no cream cheese - go figure! Could not order from the brunch menu - no graciousness whatsoever. Too late to go to another restaurant. Far too pricey at $28.00 for the quality and caliber of food. I've had some memorable meals at Olenjack's, but the last few have really been substandard. This one has me considering that I won't return which is too bad because in it's inception it was great."

"I made a reservation for mother's day and was not told that mother's day was brunch only, no menu items served. In addition, I was not told that brunch was almost $30 per person. Most of the food on the lunch side of the brunch was not served at the correct temperature and the breakfast side of the brunch had a line that extended beyond the room the breakfast setup was in - this line was so long that people we walked into the restaurant with were still in line when we left. The desserts were bite-sized portions of "assorted desserts," and were also not at the correct temperature. One of the desserts was recognizable as creme brulee, but when you cracked the burnt sugar crust, the custard below was runny and had not set. We will not be back."

"Rib's on the starter menu were a meal by themselves. Plenty to share.

"This was of less quality than I hoped. Patio doors did not function and persons nearly fell on uneven brick and door where weather stripping was coming off and tailing on the floor. Our table was uneven - wobbled - the food was not replenished sufficiently at the buffet and it all tasted pretty much the same. We don't plan to return."

"I made a reservation for Easter brunch for our whole family based on a previous dining experience there. The dinner that I had with friends a few months ago was outstanding. The food was creative and delicious. The service and ambiance at the dinner was great.
Unfortunately, we were all very disappointed with the ambiance, food and service at the brunch. The restaurant was loud, the food was just okay and our server disappeared for a long period of time while we sat looking for drink refills and syrup for my daughter's waffle...which we never did receive. It was not something I'd pay $28 per person for in the future.
Based on my first experience, I will give Olenjack's another try for dinner, but I would not recommend it for brunch"

"It was surprisingly quiet on a Sunday at noon - we were seated in the very back of the restaurant which I didn't like considering the restaurant was mostly empty. Our server seemed to forget about us most of the time - drinks went empty, etc. The food, however, was great! $1 bloody marys and $1 mimosas - we would have indulged more if they had been offered more. Overall, I would recommend for brunch."

"We've been patronizing Olenjack's since soon after it first opened. We've been there for regular dinners and a number of their special events such as wine dinners and Valentine's Day specials. The regular menu items are uniformly great, but the food for the special events is even better. Brian goes out of his way to make each special event truly special."

"We had dinner with some guests from out of town, the staff was very accomodating when we asked for a table away from the somewhat loud nergetic crowd so that we could hear a little better. We moved to the enclosed patio and it was quite nice and comfortable without beingh too loud to talk. The food was great and the service was considerate and attentive. We had such a delighful dinner we returned the next night for a follow up."

"This was our first time at Olenjack's. We had a pleasant time, but the food was so-so. My fish was cold and asparagus tough, although I think our other guests' meals were okay. I might go here again if I needed to be in Arlington, but not sure I'd make a special trip for it. I was a little surprised to make advance dinner reservations, and later find we were in an enclosed yet "outdoor" eating area."
