"The pricing was confusing and our server did not explain it well. We thought we were getting a four-course price fixed - but everything ended up being a-la-carte. I kept asking if it was to our advantage to order the kids meal so she said something about splitting an entrée between the two of them, but actually they could have shared one of the adults plate and it would have been more than enough. The Mojo sauce was very good. The Bourgonoine oil was not really hot enough. The meat took way longer than the suggested two minutes and the vegetables were still hard after the suggested 90 seconds. The salads were unimpressive and if I'd known better I would have skipped the salad course altogether. Chocolate course was good, of course!."

"The food was great, location was great, staff was great.....I would definitely return again with my family and for date night and with friends. The only issue we had was our drinks, they were awful. We ordered Mimosas at the bar while waiting for our party and all three of us did not like those. Next at the table we ordered Sangria's and I have to say that was awful and we sent those back. We drink Sangria's on regular and that drink was nothing close to any type of Sangria I have ever had in my life.
All in all the dinner was great, just won't order alcoholic drinks there is all.

"I had a nice non-stressful Mother's Day dinner with my daughter. The service was excellent. The food was good, but I don't feel there was much of the surf and turf there for the price I paid. We were in a group of two, so maybe the portions were cut down from the last time I visited because of that. Otherwise, we had a very enjoyable time."

"I made reservations for 515 pm. Requested a two burner table & high chair. When we arrived we were told we could only have a single burner table (for 5 people!!!). Our option was to wait until 830 pm for another table. The host was rude & very unconcerned. The managers were unresponsive until I made a fuss. We drove 3 hours to get there & had 3 more to drive home after. The managers were also very unconcerned about that fact. We finally got a table with two burners. Turns out the table we used was OPEN until 730 pm because a large party had requested it. We did get dinner, after our long drive, but the two rude managers kept checking on us & reminding us to finish on time!"

"I am a guy who is normally weary of trying new things but I loved this experience. The food was excellent and our waiter was very helpful in explaining everything to us. The only issue that I had was that on the day of our reservation, I received and email regarding complimentary chocolate covered strawberries. The email stated that I had to call in advance for them to be made. I called about three hours before or reservation time and was told that everything was fine. When we got to the resturant and I mentioned it, I was told that they had no record of me calling."

"We love The Melting Pot, and this trip was up to par with previous experiences. We did sit near the door, so it was a bit noisier than a more internal table, but the high booths still give the feeling of a cozy intimate dinner. Our server brought us extra dippers upon request, and was fairly good at checking on us. My husband's soda glass did sit empty twice during the meal, which was a bit annoying considering it was early in the evening and not particularly busy, but other than that - the service was good. And the food is always fabulous."

"We frequent the restaurant fairly often and it's usually a great experience. Food is always delicious and fresh. The last time we went, our polite server was apparently overworked, serving a couple of very large parties in other rooms and we were pretty much forgotten about after getting the meal to us, until it was time for the check. Though apologetic, was disappointing as we'd asked for additional teriyaki sauce when the meal was brought out, yet he only showed up with it when we were done with the meal."

"Overbooked for restaurant week. Waitress was frazzled, rushed. Did not get seated until 40 min after reservation time. Bar service was slow. Management should evaluate problems of restauarnt week and be more considerate of servers well being during peak times. Something was off about the appetizer cheese, but we weresuper hungry and ate it anyway. Meats were seasoned well and delicious. Desserts were amazing. Overall a good experience."

"Was delighted to have the opportunity to meet friends here for leisurely lunch -Melting Pot is seldom open for lunch - but was this day during Restaurant Week. I understand the model is not the best for a lunch spot - leisurely dining doesn't attract the business crowd - but it was indeed a pleasure for my girlfriends and I - to have time to enjoy our conversation and our fondue meal here. Thank you."

"everything was PERFECT except that the burner didn't heat up enough to be proper for our first course, cheese fondue. After that evertything was 100% spot on though. Just intitially made me nervous that the rest of the night would be down hill with the first course being messed up."

"I love the Melting Pot. I have been to multiple locations. However, we went during restuarant week which made the experience a little rushed. Usually they give you plenty of time for the meal and offer extra food for dipping. This time it was a bit rushed because people were waiting. We were also sat about 15 minutes late for our reservation. Besdies the logistics the food was wonderful and the inside is very clean and romantic!"

"Reservations got screwed up on one end or another. 7pm reservation for 2 was switched to 730 for 4 somewhere along the line, and they made us wait a half hour to seat us. Once seated, the service was friendly and courteous but slooow. A drink order took 20 minutes to arrive, for example. The whole experience took over 2 and a half hours, and we were forced to cancel our after-dinner plans. The food was excellent, and service was good otherwise. I've been to this location several times before and never had a problem. Hopefully it was just a Restaurant Week hiccup and not evidence of larger problems behind the scenes."

"The menu has changed. We liked the items that were replaced so it was disappointing to us. It was a busy night so the waiter wasn't able to tend to our table very often. Our drinks went unfilled for a very long time. We were done by the time he finally came to our table.
The new menu might appeal to those desiring ala carte pricing. We preferred the Big Night Out.
The Melting Pot has been a long time favorite of our families but we may reconsider where to have our next celebration."
