"We love to come here every year we're in Whistler, however, the food this year did not really standout as much as years past."

"We have eaten here on previous visits but were disappointed this time. The Dungeness crab cake looked a bit sad on its own but had a good crab content. The prime rib was excellent - melted in the mouth and beautifully seasoned. Amongst the mixed veg there were some lovely sweet carrots but the roast potatoes were over cooked and greasy. The desserts were pretty much restricted to a selection of cakes which were displayed by the entrance and were more suited to a tearoom than a restaurant. Well at least that saved a few 100 calories. What disappointed us most was the service which was intrusive and seemed insincere."

"Excellent in all respects. This is a sophisticated restaurant in a beautiful hotel at Whistler. I would return on every trip to Whistler.

"Impeccable service, fabulous food. Would highly recommend this restaurant for brunch if you can afford the hefty price tag. I was a bit shocked when the bill came as the price I was charged was $13 per person above the advertised rate on their online menu!!
Our waiter was attentive and courteous and the food was not only beautiful to look at, but of excellent quality and taste.

"The dining experience was spoiled at the end of the evening when they refused to accept DEBIT payment. I cann't believe it Fairmont Chateau Whislter can't afford DEBIT. We left a complaint and talked to the Manager who told us it was a Corporate decision. We won't be going to a Fairmont unless we know in advance that they accept DEBIT."

"One of my favourite spots in Whistler for sure. However ... if you take them up on their Sunday brunch, hope that it is busy! If not, as I have found out on 2 consecutive visits, the warm plates are left for a great long time. If there is not high turnover,t he chefs don't seem to know how to prepare smaller amounts to match the volume of customers. For instance, eggs Benedict: they bring out a tray of a couple dozen, and I watched them sit for over 40 minutes. Staff check regularly to ensure there is warm product available, but they fail to keep it warm and FRESH. Entirely disappointing as when fresh, the food is first rate. So, go when it is busy, or simply do not have the buffet. Or stick to the cold plates and they are excellent."
