"We have eaten in a lot of restaurants and I can honestly say this was probably one of the Top 10 meals we have ever eaten.
We had the seven-course chef's tasting menu with wine pairings. I had a few questions about it that our server, Joanna, answered quickly and expertly. She was probably one of the best servers we have ever encountered. A real pleasure to interact with.
We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and the restaurant added a few nice touches including a table by the window, a glass of sparkling wine before the meal, and a Happy Anniversary note written in chocolate on our dessert plates.
We are so happy that we chose Peller Estates for our anniversary dinner."

"This was easily one of the Top 10 meals we have ever had. We had the seven-course tasting menu with wine pairing. Each course was excellently and delicately prepared with great attention to detail.
The selected wines went very well with each course and we were amazed each time a new course came out from the kitchen. The timing of each dish was perfect. Our experience lasted about three hours and it was worth every minute.
Although it is a blind tasting, your server will ask you if you have any dietary restrictions or special preferences so they can adjust accordingly.
Our server, Joanna was perfect. It is obvious she cares about her job and her guests.
Highly recommend Peller Estates if you are in the area."

"My husband and I ate here for a special occasion dinner. The lobster appetizer was nice. However, he had the elk main dish served 3 ways. Unfortunately the elk sausage and cured elk were fairly inedible; the grilled elk was tasty (1 out of 3). There were almost no vegetables to speak of so we asked for and received an extra order, which the kitchen provided immediately. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse, which looked like bubbling lava - very unappetizing presentation. The service was good, however, for that price, the food should be as well."

"We all ordered the Five course dinner Chef's choice dinner with the wine paring. It was excellent and because you really didn't know what you were getting it was an adventure for sure. You just didn't know what to expect and everything was fantastic. Our server was knowledgable and kept her distance when we were talking. She wasn't at the table all the time. What a wonderful place for dinner and just ambiance!"

"My family had the sparkling brunch lunch at Peller Estates this past Sunday. We were a party of 9 including 2 children under 8 and one infant. The restaurant was incredibly accommodating and our waiter was amazing with the children. Our food was incredible and the cuvee was fantastic. They also offered sparking grape juice made from wine grapes for the children in champagne flutes so they could toast with the adults. 2 of our party had the 5 course tasting menu which was incredible and paced well so that we were all eating together. I can't say enough about the restaurant and food. I would recommend this for a special family gathering anytime!"

"We drive all the way up from Louisville, Kentucky twice a year. Peller is usually the highlight of four excellent dinners. But, this time Peller was a little off. The first two courses were excellent, and the service was impeccable. Unfortunately, the main courses were not up to usual standards. My duck was tasteless and luke warm; my wife's salmon was woefully undercooked. We never want to be "those people," so we didn't send them back. I finished mine, but my wife left almost all of hers.
Hopefully, this was a one-time glitch. But, I can honestly say we had a much better dinner the night before at Pellar's sister restaurant. I'm not ready to take Peller out of our rotation, but I am going to be a little leery going forward."

The only negative and one which should be taken into account especially if choosing the 7 course plus wine is the amount of alcohol consumed."

"We loved our entire experience at Peller Estates Winery. The 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings was incredible. We returned the next day to purchase a couple of bottles of our favorite wine from the evening. My husband ordered from the main menu and had the elk and duck salad. The elk was like cutting through butter and was delicious. The service far exceeded our expectations as each wine was explained in detail as was each course of the tasting menu. The tasting menu is actually a blind menu that can be adjusted to accomodate any food allergies or preferences. A bit intimidated to try at first but so glad I did."

"We had an excellent meal. Must try the chicken liver pâté with bleu cheese(appetizer), it was a wonderful combination and really surprised us.
The lobster ravioli (appetizer) was a wonderful treat, portion was however on the smaller size for this dish. My main course blew me away-scallops and seared froi gras, it was almost too decadent. This dish was well done with quality execution. However, I did have better froi gras in other restaurants. But overall an outstanding meal and will an go return!"

This time we chose their seasonal 5 course tasting menu. With helpful suggestion from the waiting person we chose one bottle of wine and it prooved to be very good choice. The first course, a beet salad with goat cheese, was disappointing as it lacked content, taste and presentation. Fortunately the following courses made up for that. We live a distance of an hour and half drive so it needs special occasion for us to visit the restaurant. We are planning to return on another special occasion and hope next time our experience will be more enjoyable."

"The food is always spectacular here, and our dinner last week was no exception. We went specifically for the five-course tasting menu, which is discounted $30 per person through the end of Mar. We added the wine pairings with each course. The food was amazing, and the wine pairings all worked well. Sadly, they really needed one or two more servers on duty the night we were there, as service suffered. We have come to expect perfection at this restaurant, and we didn't get it this time, at least not in the service department. That will not deter us from going back."

The service was amazing. so courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. And we had a lovely table right by the fireplace that was very romantic, booked through Open Table which we thoroughly enjoyed. Two of the four appetizers were good, the other two were highly disappointing. The main course came to the table luke warm. All four dinners!

"The fabulicious menu is distinctly sub-par for the kind of restaurant that this aspire to be. Of course they will lose money on a decent $25 Prix fix lunch, but surely the idea is strut their stuff, and to draw people in over the long term. This doesn't happen with such poor fare as we were fed. On the basis of this occasion, Pellar Estates would not be my first ( or tenth) choice for a regular lunch."

"First of all, the quality of service was amazing! Our waitress was very helpful in picking the right wine for our dishes. The duck salad was divine; would love this as a main dish! Loved the cider reduction on the rapini. No hint of bitterness there. My friend had the salmon & was quite impressed with it as well. The dessert ... well, what can you say about a pot de creme with enough caramel to sink a ship!
The only downside was the lobster tail which was very dry & overcooked.
