Northworks Bar and Grille
Upbeat and lively neighborhood restaurant with a beautiful brick & beam decor. Great bar & lounge with flat screen TV’s, keno and comfortable booths. We feature a varied menu featuring fresh seafood. There is also a great selection of grilled steaks, pasta sautees, dinner salads and sandwiches. Everyone loves the Northworks. Meet with friends, families or business associates. We have a terrific children's menu and we guarantee they will love the free popcorn. Week night specials, half priced appetizers in our bar & lounge and Ladies night every Thursday night in the bar & lounge.
Loaded lobster bisque now available every day. We take reservation for parties of four or more and offer call ahead seating for others. Having a party, we can accommodate parties of up to 25 in our dining room and 35 in our lounge. An ATM is located on the premises. The best part of all is that the food is great and the prices reasonable.

"I ordered stuffed shrimp and thought they were very good. My husband ordered a filet mingon "rare". The steak was more medium well....we normally just eat what we get and don't complain. Our waitress, Valerie" noticed my husband wasn't enjoying his steak. She asked if there was something wrong. He still didn't complain and just asked for steak sauce. She said she could tell there was something wrong and he said that the meat was too well done for him. She immediatly took the plate back and had another filet prepared. It was perfectly done and he enjoyed it. The only problem was that we didn't eat together because his dinner had to be reordered. We were very impressed with Valerie.....she knows her stuff."

"My husband and I went there for some place different than the normal. Really enjoyed the place and will go back again. I truly enjoyed the fact that they seated the adults in one (smaller) area and the adults with kids in another area."

"The drinks and service were great. The food was awful. I go out because I want to eat something I couldn't make myself. I could have made all of this. Frozen food, tasteless. We left most of our meals untouched. When the waitress said shed wrap it up for us we both said "NO! Thanks," at the same time. Not worth going back."

"NorthWorks was located next to the hotel where we stayed for a night at the Hanover Theatre. Our hotel recommended the restaurant and even placed a menu in our room. The food was good, nothing to fancy or great--but definitely nothing bad. I ordered Lobster Mac and Cheese, which had very little lobster in it. Our appetizers of fried calamari and asian spring rolls were decent. The calamari was a little soggy and had a lot of the "mini squid" bits rather than rings. The dipping sauce was excellent and the spring rolls were very tasty. The staff was pleasant enough but not overly hospitable. As we left dinner, there were two staff members sitting at the host/hostess station and neither wished us a good night or thanked us for coming."

"We were sat right away which I truly appreciated since they were very busy. I heard the hostess tell the people in front of us there was a 30 minute wait. I was grateful i had booked through Open Table. I ordered a Filet Mignon which was very good. I was pleasantly surprised since the cost was only $22.99. I didn't expect a lot at that price! The service was average we had to search for our server every time we needed something, however, the hostess willingly helped us. The restaurant had a very nice ambience! It was my first trip there and I would definitely go back!"

"We enjoyed our dinner at Northworks to celebrate a birthday. For Worcester it was easy to find, easy to park, and little to no wait to be seated. There were almost too many choices on the menu and the large booths were very comfortable for the group we had(with a baby). Because of the noise around us and the baby we had with us, the waitress was distracted and brought a veggie stir-fry dinner to one of us instead of the veggie pizza they ordered, but it was rectified fairly quickly. We'll definitely be back !!"

"I loved the fact that there was an online reservation system. I booked our table the same day and we were seated promptly at our selected time. The food was piping hot for everyone in our party (5) and all reported that there dishes were delicious. I had the butternut squash ravioli with scallops. The sauce was tasty, the ravioli al dente and the scallops cooked perfectly. My husband had the swordfish and claimed it just melted in his mouth. Portion sizes were just right, prices very reasonable, and atmosphere very relaxed and inviting. Would highly recommend a visit!"

"Our server Marcia was outstanding. Although they were out of bud light (which I am sure is a very rare occasion) And one of the bottles of wine we wanted to get was not in stock it was an amazing night. Marcia really was truly outstanding. It does not get said enough when someone does a fantastic job - you only ever hear the negative but she was just great and we made sure to let the manager know. I would recomend this place to anyone who asked!"
