"Brunch was just okay, nothing special. The restaurant itself just seemed a bit shabbier than when I had dinner there a few years ago. Tablecloth was stained, food was overpriced and a bit dated, mimosas were tasty but way too expensive. Paid $50 for coffee, 1 mimosa & a chicken salad sandwich with a handful of watercress on the side. Eh."

"Still a hot spot after all these years--and a lifesaver. A friend was here for her birthday, we'd schedule a dinner for 7 people at Kutscher's, and the blizzard arrived. We got a call from Kutschers in the morning saying they were shutting down, and I started panicking. Luckily, The Odeon had an opening at 8:30, and when we called and asked if we could come earlier, they slipped us in. The place was packed, despite the adverse conditions, and the food was delicious, the service, wonderful, and ambiance--still cool, still welcoming!"

0. Get reservation (I always do) - the place is popular
1. You will never go wrong with their Benedict (though might consider additional side as it is a bit smaller than you want).
2. Do not leave vodka selection for your Bloody Mary to the bartender and make the choice as they give you the option - otherwise you will get house vodka which is average."

"If you're in Tribeca, The Odeon is a landmark worth visiting. And the weekday lunches are a power lunch scene. The food isn't what it once was...the Tuna burger was a ground burger, not a filet as it used to be, but the ingredients tops. It's the downtown version of Union Square's Coffee Shop."

I would get he fish of the day special regularly. I'm not very impressed with the fish but always by the sides. This last time the grouper was so-so, bland in fact but the creamed spinach and the mashed (chunky) potatoes were just divine. I think I'd just get these sides for now and just skip the fish since they were simply outstanding."

"We celebrated our nuptials at The Odeon. The service was AMAZING. We had a party of 10 and we made reservations a day in advance. They had no trouble getting us in. We had actually made our reservation for 5pm but wanted to come in early at the last minute (at 4pm). We called ahead and they invited us to come over and they would be ready. We arrived and the table was already set for us. We enjoyed champagne (courtesy of the management) and wine/cocktails until the dinner menu came out a little after 5pm. The staff was AMAZING (can't say that enough) and the food was prepared to perfection. We saw two celebrities enjoy a meal (us being out of towners made that pretty cool). Can't go wrong at this amazing spot."
