"I having been dining at Mildred's Temple Kitchen for a while now. It remains one of my favorite places to go for delicious, creative food with outstanding service. The servers are friendly, upbeat and committed to ensuring you are enjoying yourself and want for nothing. The place and people just have great energy.
This is my "go to" place to relax and enjoy the company of a good friend. I have been for lunch, brunch and dinner and the food and service is amazingly consistent............ people remember your name and preferences here, it's that kind of place. :)"

"Food was yummy and our waitress was great (seriously) and the dessert menu was to die for. Good evening all round - only weird thing was they wouldn't seat people unless the entire party was there and I was late - leaving my friends sitting outside on a bench until I got there. I coudl understand if it was really full (maybe) but the place was failry empty when they arrived and we had a reservation. But would go back again. I hear brunch is amazing..."

"Some restaurants treat groupon customers like second class citizens. Not so at Mildred's. They were well set up for for the offer and the staff were great. The restaurant decor is bright and contemporary and the high ceiling mean there is always a pleasant energetic hum of conversation but you never need to shout or strain to hear the other people at your table."

"I had the most enjoyable time at Mildred's Temple Kitchen. It's a wonderful find in Liberty Village, and the wide open space and large windows makes it feel extremely spacious.
It is extremely spacious. And we went on a not so busy night, so that there was ample room and the service was amazing.
I think for groups (like we were) that were interested in talking and catching up with each other, it was an ideal place. The food was very good, but not as varied, especially for the vegetarian in our group.
But to be honest, we loved it, had a great time, and it really wasn't that expensive for the quality. On our quality to dollar ratio, Mildred's Temple Kitchen rates extremely highly."

"This was the fourth time we went to Mildred's and as always, it was wonderful. The food was great and the service second to none. The only dissapointing part was that we coudld not sit outside because it was winter. But spring will soon be here and we will have a chance to enjoy the outdoors again.the four serving beer paring course for part of the meal is a great idea."

"Overall, it was good, but nothing exceptional. I had been excited by the two vegetarian options I saw on the menu onlne, but on the actual night we were there there was only one option. it was good, but a little bland. Creative though. The olive and bread plate had five olives istting in a dip, which I wouldn't call a plate of olives. Overall, I found it a good solid place for dinner, but not as amazing as I had excpected."

"I've dined at Mildred's for brunch, lunch and now dinner and have enjoyed each occasion immensely. A few times, I was early for my reservation and as a result, spent time at the bar to view their mixolology skills, and I'll say this - they're fantastic!!
I would highly recommend Mildred's, but expect long wait times during brunch on Sunday's, and though wait staff are extremely friendly when interacting with you, the restaurant can get pretty busy during service, and you may have to wait a bit to reach your server ... BUT... that does not take away from the food!"

"Second time at Mildred's. The gnocchi poutine and nachos were still delicious but this time, for my main, I had the MTK burger which was not good. The crispy onions were very greasy and soggy and the burger was WAY too salty. I really like salt so for me to say it was too salty means extremely salty. No one came to our table while we were eating our main courses to ask if everything was ok so I didn't get a chance to let them know this until we were ready to leave. The service was pretty slow. We had empty appetizer plates sitting in front of our faces for what seemed like a long time. Not very impressed with this visit."

"Wow for Winterlicious. I participated in half dozen restaurants and this was the best this year. We ordered the Lamb Tangine and Bolli Cauli - both were delish. Loved the Bolli Cauli and I never order vegetarian. Will have to try replicating it at home. Service was attentive and restaurant was happily conducive to conversation. Definitely highly recommended."

"We enjoyed our lunch, despite the slow service (drinks arrived separately, one 20 minutes, the other 30 minutes after the orders were taken), the lukewarm soup and the wilted greens. The baked goat cheese app was lovely. The fish and chips and the MTK burger were beautifully presented and very good. The deserts: sticky toffee pudding and cookies were perfect! Now, if the baby in the pram had not wailed throughout our two-hour lunch (see slow service above), we might have heard the music playing."

"This place is so authentic. The food was delicious and servings were quite big considering it was a Winterlicious menu! The staff is very friendly and requests are taken into account with good feedback and response. I am returning here again with more friends!"

"We went for dinner on a Wednesday night. It was busy but you wouldn't know it by the service and personal attention. Starting with the hostess, who was so friendly and professional, to the server who who seemed to come to the table at the perfect times, to finally the manager who introduced himself to us, ensured we were comfortable and satisfied with our experience. The proverbial bar has been set high. I recommend it for a romantic date, a small group of friends, or even a large party. A hidden gem in Liberty Village area. Thank you kindly MTK."

"Had to wait 30 minutes even with a reservation. Everything looked great but the fish was overcooked. Didn't realise that it was going to be winterlicious, so that may have been the problem."

"Overall great experience. Took too long for appetizier and mains to come out but once they did both were delicious. Strongly recommend the Bolly Colly, even if you don't like cauliflower - very cool, very filling."

"Great overall experience. The servers were attenttative, but at the same gave us space. The bar manager was very friendly and had extensive knowledge of his wine list. I had the Chicken Biryani. The chicken was nicely cooked, but I found the dish to be a tad sweet. The rice was full of dates, raisins and sweet spices (clove, cinnamon etc). As an Indian dish, I was expecting there to be a bit of spice to balance the sweetness. I go to this restaurant a few times a year as it is a vibrant scene. I will continue to go to this restaurant, but the menu (entrees) could use a bit of a makeover as its has been the same for a while. I do have to say that everything else i've tried here is amazing and the gnocci poutine is the god of poutines!"

"We had a good meal, the food was good, the service was great. Unfortunately there was a table opposite us with a lot of young kids making quite a lot of noise. Plus the seating is very cramped, with the tables really close to each other, and so you can listen in on your neighbours conversations! The menu is fairly limited - but the food was good."
