Parallel Seventeen is a neighborhood bistro and bar serving Pan-Asian cuisine with European influences. Since opening in 2005, P17 has been recognized as one of Denver's best restaurants. The handcrafted bar serves some of Denver's best original cocktails, in addition to an international wine list. Located in the heart of 17th Avenue's Restaurant Row, P17 offers one of Denver's most popular summer patios. Parallel Seventeen has all the elements of a fine-dining establishment, but still offers a friendly, intimate and casual atmosphere.

"This is a BUSY place! Restaurant was packed when we got there. Waited about five minutes and were able to sit down. I had the Duck and my wife the Salmon. Both entrees were divine. I highly recommend for everyone to try the duck. Our server took great care of us. Had a very nice dinner."

"Had one of the best brunches I've ever had at this little restaurant. The menu was diverse with Pho and vietnamese salads while also having dishes that had an imaginative twist on traditional classics: blueberry stuffed french toast, tasmanian salmon benedict with a basil hollaindaise. Both were delicious. The portions were generous and the dishes were all accompanied with potatoes and salad. The service was attentive and friendly-I never reached the bottom of my bottomless bellini. For the quality of the food and the service, the price was very reasonable, almost cheap when compared to other places doing brunch. I think this might be my new favorite brunch retsuarant! Can't wait to go for dinner."

"My food was not good. I had lived in Asia for a long time and I found that this food was tasteless. The presentation was very nice but there wasn't even the flavor of an inexpensive Vietnamese Restaurant. I may have a different opinion because I have been eating real Asian food for so long."

"Went for Rest. Week and now definitely will make this a regular place. It's tiny, but they've laid out the tables well enough so that they can fit a suprisingly large amount of people in there without a huge amount of 'bump my chair' happening. The food though... absolutely amazing Vietnamese fusion-esque. I went there expecting mediocrity, but figured it looked 'interesting'. What I got was great service (although one entree took forever to get out - I think there was a kitchen mishap) and some absolutely beautifully presented food. It's a 'try it to believe it' type of place, but check out the other review sites and you'll see what I mean when I say it's fantastic."

"Even though the restaurant was fairly busy from the time we arrived we never felt rushed and were able to have a nice, leasurely meal. The course options for the 5280 Dinner Week were right up our alley (although I wasn't extremely fond of the sauce that the salmon dumplings was served in), and the portions were rather large. My wife was stuffed by the end of our evening. Overall a very nice experience."

"Another couple and my boyfriend went to P17 for 5280 Restaurant Week and it was dynomite! All of the courses were spread out with impecable timing and giving us enough time to digest the previous course. "We've eaten here a lot over the years, and this wasn't P17s best showing. The food was decent, but not great. The sangria delicious as always. The waiter was super friendly. But someone needs to tell the hostess to slow down a bit, and, oddly enough, wear more sensible shoes to stomp around through the wood floor restaurant. Dinner was consistently loud thanks to her loud heels and insistence on dragging chairs around to reset tables instead of bothering to pick them up. Oh, and it might help if she didn't bump into us, spill things on us as she had her harried bad evening. We'll be back for the curry because we love it, but hopefully this was just a bad night for them!"

"This place is simply amazing! Staff is friendly, everyone there seems to be in a good mood, food is excellent. Our server, James, guided us through a selection of appetizers and entrees based on what we liked and hit it dead on. The Tuna avocado tacos are spectacular (seriously). I had the curry and my wife had the short ribs, both were excellent and the short ribs were tender, lean and falling off the bone (I was lucky enough to steal a taste).

Can't say enough good things, it's truly a gem."

"I took my grilfriend here for Valentines day without any idea of what this restaraunt would be like. There were several outstanding comments and after looking at the menu, I decided to book a reservation. I am glad I did so. The appetizers were delicious and the wine was very tasty. The valentines day special looked very good, but we chose to have some entrees instead and they were both top notch. "I had brunch at P17 Sunday the 31st of January. It was very good especially their stuffed French toast. There were three of us and we each had something different. I had the Salmon Pattie Benedict and my other friend had a Chili Relleno. Of course the third friend had the yummy french toast. We also enjoyed the Chili Bloody Marys and a Champagne drink. All were very good.
it is a nice find on 17th street. We all will be back. Would love to try their dinner menu."

"Had a very nice lunch at P17 on Thurs the 21st. The curry was yummo, and I liked the fact that it was served with a baguette (what better way to get at the last bit of curry in the bowl). Service was unobtrusive and very professional. Especially appreciated the fact that the waiter made a point to inform us that all proceeds from 21 and 22 January were being sent directly to a hospital in Haiti. In had been probably two years since I had last been to P17 (no longer working in the neighborhood), but will be back."

"The food and the wait service was great!!! The hostesses however were initially really rude. It was a a very cold night and I had made a reservation and when we walked in they put us right by the door. They should not have even used that table, in my opinion. When I asked about it the reply was - "that is the only table we have" - "this is a small resturant". Wrong answer. It should have been - That is the only table available and if you would like to wait then we would be happy to acommodate you. We apologize and would be happy to see what we can do so that you are comfortable."

"Food was very good. Waiter was great. We made our initial selections and he was kind enough to let us know this would be too much food. He suggested that he put in our appitizer and soup order and that he would hold off on the entree order to make sure we wanted to continue to the entrees. He was correct. The app and soup we ordered was more than enough. We finished with a great desert again recommended by our waiter. Wine was also reasonable and good. We will definitely come back."

"The happy hour menu is good. The drinks were marginal (warm martini, missing ingredients in the mojito). The service was good, with corrections made on request. The food was flavorful and good. We tried the calamari, scallops,tuna tacos, and a salad. We weren't disappointed with any of the dishes."

"We went to P17 for brunch and overall it was pretty good. The bottomless cocktails are a good deal if you're in the mood to drink. All of the brunch entrees were good. The biscuits and gravy wasn't as flavorful as you would think chorizo gravy would be. The blueberry french toast was very good and everything else was too."

"While the service was outstanding, the food was disappointing. We had the calamari which was bland, the shortribs which were spicey although and not as tasty as I thought they would be. The best dish of the dinner was the lemon tart - just perfect and huge - great for sharing. Although the ambiance is nice, the food was not as wonderful as the menu on-line suggested it would be so, sadly, we won't likely go back."
