"First time at Vegas location, food almost as good as NYC location. I guess part of being so popular is the fact you have to wait even when you have a reservation. First night two of us and we were seated 45 minutes after reservation time even with an early check in. Second night we ate at bar and 45 minutes after ordering entrees showed up, not too bad as again they were very busy. Too bad salad showed up 15 minutes after that! Tough because NYC is my favorite restaurant and I've always had a very positive experience. Staff was very friendly and apologized. I'll be back but will make sure my expectations are lined up with my recent experiences."

"We were seated right away at an outside table. Was very noisy inside, but a friend of mine had eaten here and said the noise level inside did not affect the conversation at the table. Outside seating was pleasant. Right across from The Treasure Island Pirate Ship Show. Could see most of the show from our table.We had the meatball appetizer (little garlicky for my taste but others liked it), my husband had spaghetti carbonara (loved it) and I had a fresh pasta with a crab filling (very light and good). Service was attentive and they did not rush us."

"We had a great dinner here to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. Everyone raved about their meal choices! We also sat outside, and the temperature and view was great. Overall, a very good (if a bit expensive) meal."

"Our reservation was for 9pm and we were not seated until 10pm. This seems to be standard operating procedure for them. We first waited for 10 mins to check in with the hostess. She then adds you to a list and gives you a pager - like other restaurants do when you don't have a reservation.
Sure, they brought out complimentary calamari for an appetizer after we were seated, but that wasn't enough. They didn't seem to really care or apologize about the wait. At one point a manager stopped by for a quick check as we were eating dinner and we did complain about the wait. He said he would send over a round of complimentary drinks/shots,but that never happened.
The food was good, but nothing special"

"Second time dining at Lavo. Hostesses were snotty little girls with a "this place is too cool for you, we'll get to you if we have time" attitude. Servers, on the other hand, were expert, knowledgable and attentive. Drinks were excellent - the 58th Street had an exquisitely smooth taste. Frankly the bread was so great we could have just dined on several baskets of it. The tomato and mozzarella appetizer was excellent. The Veal Milanese was tasty, but a bit dry and too salty for my taste. The Scampi was excellent. Dining on the patio late in the evening after the Vegas heat subsided was a fine experience. We definitely wouldn't rule out going again."

"We dined at Lavo for a girlfriends bachelorette party. We had a reservation but we still had to wait 25 minutes for our table. All was forgiven when we were taken to our table right on the strip. It had an lively ambiance and the seating was very spacious and comfortable. The food took a while and they initially forgot to bring out the complementary garlic bread, but our server was very nice. The food was really amazing for the price. Fresh pastas and thoughtful sauces. There was something for everyone on the menu. I would go to Lavo again for the food and ambiance."

"I was disappointed with Lavo. It is directly across the street from Treasure Island on the strip. Thus, dinner on the balcony is less than conducive to an intimate meal. Indoors, the restaurant pumps club music, despite the fact that the club wasn't open. (It is closed on Thursday.) The service was terrible. We sat for more than an hour and only had an appetizer. It was difficult to get the attention of either of our two waiters. If you choose to eat at Lavo, the meatball is amazing. However it might take you a half hour to get it after you wait for service at your table. There are many fantastic places in Las Vegas. Don't bother with this one."

"I was in Vegas last week and I made reservation at Lavo at the recommendation of a friend. I had reservations for 9:30pm.....I requested an outside table and I had to wait maybe 10 mins. The view from our table was scenic of the strip but hidden from people walking the strip. This resturant brings a modern crown but guests of all ages enjoy the food and service. The meatballs are a must but you should try their diner menu if you have the time. WIth dinner you receive free admission to thier night club upstairs. The club is smaller than most clubs in Vegas but the place was packed by 11:30. Overall, I would go back and I give Lavo a 10...."

"My husband took me here for Mother's Day. We had dinner in the lounge because we had our 2-year old with us & she has ants in her pants. We shared a bottle of champagne & a meatball. I had the eggplant parm app as my meal (it's HUGE but delicious). My husband had the salmon. Our daughter had a little bit of everything. Fantastic meal & great service. Beautiful restaurant. As locals, we go to the strip for most special occasions. We always seem to end up at Lavo a few times a year!"

3 guests total, 645pm on a week night. Seated on time. Piped in Music level turned up as restaurant fills. Not condusive to business talk or Romance. Could bearly hear waiters pitch. Also, getting refills on ice tea or water is a real challenge. Garlic bread excellent. 1st batch is free, 2nd time is $6.00 per. Giant Kobe meatball appetizer only available in "PORK ragu sauce". No flexablility on this at all per supervisor. 2 orders of Flat bread pizza were just fair, overbaked for sure. Beet salad unusually tart and served warm. Caesar salad served cold and very good. Entrees late and not very hot. Noise really got bad at 9pm. Had to leave."

"We went to Lavo for a girls weekend in Vegas. It did not disappoint - the ambiance was very "vegas" and we had a great time. We waited for an outdoor table and it was totally worth it. It was a beautiful night, the food was very good and the drinks were fantastic!! Our waiter was very friendly and suggested some options to try but he did seem to disappear after the food was served. Not a big problem though, we were happy they weren't rushing us through. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the place. The Treasure Island show across the street was a little distracting, but it wasn't long.
It does turn very "clubby" inside as the night goes on, but that was fun too. I'd go back for sure."

"Very impressed over all. Waitress let us eat outside (nice view). Meal was great with a very reasonable price. Club was fun....high energy. Easy to get in (free, with paid entree from restaurant). One small complaint. Waitress let my freind order 2 appetizers, no one could eat that amount of food. She could have told him how much he was getting, as it was a waste of food (and money)."

"Seat outside for dinner it's perfect, relaxing and you get front row seats to a fantastically cheesy pirate show across the street at Treasure Island. Everything we are we ate was delicious. Highly recommend the Oreo dessert, they dip Oreo cookies in donut batter and fry it then give you ice cream to compliment the flavor. Sooo good. Service was amazing our drinks were never empty and timing from salad to dessert was perfect. Highly recommend for dinner!"

"Met a friend there for dinner on a Friday night. Great food. Wonderful wine list. Elton, our waiter not the piano player, provided excellent service and took great care of us. A wonderful experience all around. BTW, after dinner we went up to the Double Helix on the second floor of the Palazzo shops for a QUIET after dinner drink. Great place if you are looking for a toned down scene for a bit."

"Sat out on the terrace with a great view of the Strip. Definitely a great place for dining of an evening. We had the Jumbo shrimp cocktail, Spaghetti with Kobe Meatballs and the filet steak. All of which were exceptional. Attentive fun staff providing great service. We've booked again."

"The service was a little slow. There were a lot of waiters, however, there seemed to be a lot of confusion. People all around us were being served dinner even though they ordered well after us.
The bread is amazing. I ordered the Dover Sole special and it was so incredibly salty I drank about 10 gallons of water after. I'm not sure if I got a bad one or if that is how it comes. What a waste.
The pasta dishes were not as good as remembered from a previous visit. The ceasar salad is excellent.
We've been before which is why we chose it....however, this visit was notably not nearly as good. With all the great restaurants in Vegas, we won't be back."

"Everything was great until the waiter took my credit card to pay. Then he came back and asked for mybdriver liscense and disapperaed for over 5 minutes. He claims his manager needed tontake photo copy. This is absurd. My bill was 501.00. I have spent two to three times this atbother vegas restarants including tao and never had this happen. Im quit upset now that someone not onky has mt cc number and also my id. I am alerting my company about this horrible procedure and watch for unauthorized charges on my corp card."

"I had a reservation for two at 8:30 pm. They gave me the table at 9:20. Then I order a $200 dolard bottle of wine at the bar and when they give me the table I had to talk to my waitres and say to hin that the bottle of wine in the bar was my. He did not have any idea about the bottle. The restaurant was full but is supposed to be a very good restaurant. The food was great."

"Took my customer to Lavo. The waiter was over eager to get the order in which I didnt like. did not get my order correct. Steak was not cooked as order and forgot some sides. Waiter was eager to push us out since they seemed to have more people waiting for tables than tables available - but thats not my problem.
*probably wont go back, unless a customer requests it. Too many better alternatives in vegas."

"The food was good and if you can get a view of the fountains then it's worth it. Otherwise, we felt like we were on an assembly line when it came to service and the pace of the food being delivered. I understand it's a popular place but at that price point patrons should be allowed to enjoy the food and atmosphere, not rushed out the door. Bottom line, I think my pasta was good but the whole meal was a blur."

"We always eat at Lavo when in Vegas and we have never been disappointed. Despite the fact that they get famous people, we are treated like special guests too.
