"My friends loved it a couple years ago and said it was on par with Ruth's Chris, however it seems to have turned more into a happy hour hotspot then a fine restaurant. There was a lot of background noise as we were in the section nearest the bar. My $40 steak was no better then something that I could get from Outback. We eat at good steakhouses (Old homestead, Ruth's Chris, Shula's, etc) often and this is not even in the same category. Service was ok for the class restaurant, but waiter had no recommendations on wine, my glass sat empty for about 5 mins, however was very courteous and did know the menu well. Bread was our favorite part of the meal. If you are considering Blue, I'd suggest you head to Shula's."

"Food was just okay. My scallops were a little overdone and too salty. Side dishes were uninspiring. Service rating would be have been outstanding, if the waitress had come to check if the two of us, who didn't order the specially prepared dessert that had to ordered ahead of time, would like to see the dessert menu. We come back here, because of the ambiance and service, and hope that the food will be memorable this time, but we come less and less....too bad."

"Very nice location, has potential to be that gem.

The food was, for my taste, a bit over the top. Not enough plain, clean tastes too many fusion meals.
The Mai Mai was perfect as was the lam, although I personally prefer two small lamb chops instead of one big one. The tomato salad was to die for however the green lettuce was......to say the least offensive.

I would have preferred the waiter to have more knowledge about the menu and the complementing wines.

I recommend this for a great night out in the Valley.

Price wise? A bit too expensive for what you get, the food did not meet my expectations for that amount."

"The restaurant was fabulous and out waiter was very attentive to our needs. I believe that the waiter / waitress can make or break a meal. Our waiter was outstanding and just couldn't do enough to make this a wonderful experience for us. This was only my second visit to Blue and I told my friend that I wanted to take her there to celebrate her birthday. We had a wonderful time at your restaurant and am glad that I now will be able to recommend your restaurant to any friends/family."

"I found the service prompt and courteous. The food was delicious. A bit pricy but you get what you pay for so it was worth it.
Our server,stephanie, was very good with attitude, suggestions and very attentive to our dinning needs. Two good suggestions by Stephanie....Twin tail lobsters and the freshly made lava cake.
Over all I would certainly go back and recommend Blue to my friends."

"Not impressed at all this time. We went on Valentines Day weekend however there was no special menu or drink.I ordered the petite filet with grilled marinated shrimp. When my dinner came out, I was shocked to see 2 small shrimp on my plate. This use to be my favorite restaraunt. Try Bolete in Bethlehem! The food and drink menu changes with the seasons. I am WOWed everytime I go there. Best yet its even less expensive!"

"I could not have asked for a better evening. Service was friendly and fantastic. Atmosphere was perfect for a nice romantic dinner with my wife for Valentines day. I set up to have flowers ready (through Open Table at time I set up the reservation). The flowers were beautiful and everybody commented on them. I would highly recommend The Blue to anybody."

"The surf and turf for two was amazing. The lyonnaise potatoes and the dover scallops were fit to share as well (and were very good). The only off-note was the crab marscapone cheese and macaroni app (cheese was too light and there wasn't enough crab). Great for a special night out (we went for Valentine's Day)"

"Steak was great. On par with the top restaurants I have eaten at in Texas. I don't get dessert often, but the Chocolate souffle was awesome. Service was great. If you want a quite table, need to request one. Go early, as it fills up quickly on the weekend."

"We waited at the bar until our table was ready (we were early for our reservation). The bartenders walked by us at least 20 times and never acknowledged us. After 20 minutes, our drink order was taken and as soon as they arrived, our table was ready. We were seated at a table that was no bigger than 2.5 feet in diameter. The smallest table I have ever seen outside a coffee house. There was no room for anything. I ordered duck rare, it came well done. My wife ordered a veal chop ($36)medium well and it was rare. We didn't send anything back because it took so long to get it the first time. Table service was good. This place is way over priced for very mediocre food. Maybe we hit an off night, but I would not go back."

"Our overall experience was fabulous! This was our first time to dine at the restaurant but had been over to the wine bar once before and knew that this was a place for us. "The food here is a little pricey but outstanding. It is perfect for a special occasion - not an everyday meal. Easily could spend $100. Just know that you only need to order one side to split between two people because they are HUGE. Everything was wonderful. The wait staff was very attentive. They didn't loiter at our table or nag us, but we did feel like the only two people in the restaurant. Very romantic."

"As always, the food and service were both exceptional.

I invited my friend, his fiance and his parents out for dinner and they were all more than impressed by both the food and the wine list. He even commented afterwards that it was one of the best restaurants he had ever been to, and made me promise we would visit again soon."

"This is a top notch experience. Lehigh Valley, Manhattan, wherever - very nice. The menu is extensive and diverse. We had a simple, but excellent lump Crab appetizer and Crab/Macadamia nut Wontons. The Lump Crab quality and quantity exceeded our expectations. The 4 wontons were a bit small and over cooked... still tasty. We both had Salmon. I had jerked with papaya/mango relish and my wife had broiled. Both were excellently presented and full of taste. The Salmon was cooked perfectly and probably could have been spread on bread! Very nice. We shared a very nice chocolate lava cake. The cake had collapsed which affected the presentation. It did not slow me down at all! Service was good. The music and crowd noice was energetic."

"Service was great. Attentive but not obtrusive. Food was well prepared and high quality. Only issue was I felt like I was pushed off to the childrens table. Was placed in a small side dining room seperated from the main dining room by a sliding glass wall. (which was closed after we were seated) . Made me feel like we weren't good enough to sit in the main dining area. I'm sure I was charged just as much as those sitting in the main dining room. Not sure if I would go back here again based on that despite the quality of the food and the excellent service. Dropped over $75 per person to feel segregated."

"The facility is beautiful. The food was very good, but my g/f's steak was not prepared correctly. We had to wait 10 minutes for a server and that was only after I said something. It was new year's eve, but for as much as your paying, it shouldn't matter. The service was fine after that. Overall, the experience was good, but it's maybe a once a year type of thing. Seems more like a place people want to be seen."

"I really enjoyed my experience here. My boyfriend and I decided to have our New Years Eve dinner here. We had a reservation for 830 but didn't arrive until after 9 and we were seated within 10 minutes on such a busy night! Our server was very nice and helpful in answering any questions we had. The food was great, except for the roasted potatoes which were not well seasoned. I definitley recommend the scallops wrapped in bacon with honey sauce as an appetizer! I also loved the presentation of the food. But everything was great! This is by far the best dining experience I have had and I will definitley return again."

"We showed up at 7:30 for an 8pm reservation to have a drink at the bar before we sat down. The bar staff were completely overwhelmed, looked like a hostess/manager was helping the two bartenders behind the bar which wasn't nearly enough. Unfortunately, with an 8pm reservation we weren't seated until 8:50pm. Unacceptable. The atmosphere however was fantastic, the waitress was not knowledgable yet very polite, and the food was above average accept for the expensive family style side of crab mac & cheese, which had very little crab meat if any at all. Very nice presentation of the lobster bisque however.

For the price, go somewhere that will seat you earlier than 50 mins after your reservation."

"Had a very nice time! Only had to flag down a water pitcher once for a refill. Food arrived hot and as ordered. Very romantic setting, and not as noisy as most steakhouses can be. Maître d’ came by to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. Staff was attentive but not annoying. A bit pricey for a suburb restaurant, but I will definitely be back!"

"All-around VG dining, service, food experience. Young staff is attentive, kitchen puts out well-prepared and presented meals. Wine list is notable.
