"The only thing I enjoyed was the view. We seated ourselves in front of the fire pit. The food was mediocre. The server, although courteous, neglected us. I had to leave my table to get her attention because she was engaged in a conversation with her co-worker. She also gave me the wrong change after paying my bill. That was my first and last visit."

"That was probably the best steak I've ever had. If I'd had a better one, I think I'd remember it pretty vividly. I was a little thrown by the prices at first, but after eating the food, the prices seemed totally fine. Wait time for our meal was a little longer than I would have liked, but not tragically so.

"We had a lovely dinner to celebrate out 7th anniversary together. It was a Wednesday night so we were ready to chill for a bit to enjoy our time together. Service and food was fab! They made it a bit more special with comp. champagne and dessert which we appreciated most highly! All in all a wonderful experience! Would recommend their Prix Fix mon through thurs!"

"My wife and I are transplanted NYers, the atmosphere had a NY kind of flavour, I wish I could remember our waitress' name as she was knowledgable, great service and was very attentive to us all throughout our dining experience. The food was great! My wife enjoyed the raw clams, I enjoyed the Calamari with honey, she had the stuffed lobster and I enjoyed the Filet Mignon. We would of had dessert but we were stuffed and heading to the casino... Looking forward to the next visit"

"They set up the ballroom for the brunch, which accommodated lots of people without feeling overcrowded. The waitstaff was attentive and polite, and the food was nicely presented. "As our son attends Lehigh, we frequent Blue 2-3 times per year. Food is always well prepared & tasty. For this meal the Scallops were superb! Tuna was wonderful & cooked to order and the Salmon was a hit.
After numerous visits to Blue my only suggestion is for the prices that are charged for the entree they should provide sides, a seasonal vegetable and a starch would be nice."

"second time coming Here and very disappointed both tme. Food not up to par had tomato and basil simple appetizer not easy to mess up but they manange too loabster ravioli left a lot to be desired and had some un known cubed vegetable in the sauce. "The Blue has a great upscale ambience and a terrific location. The service was very good and the online reservation convenient. The wine list nice, not up to some of the higher end establishments in the valley, but quite adequate. Unfortunately the food is just fair. Considering the prices it is a very poor bargain and that is a shame. Its renovations, which were very well done, are sustaining it now, but these two factors will eventually be its downfall unless they are addressed."

"We went for Easter brunch and it was the first time we ate at this restaurant. Everything was excellent! The layout of the buffet was perfect and allowed you to not have to wait in line forever to get food. Also, the kid's selection of food was perfect! There was definately something there for everyone and everything was delicious. Highly recommended! We are going back for Mother's Day since everyone loved it so much!"

"We live in New Jersey but venture over to PA on occasion to dine at the Bue Grillhouse.
As indicated above, everything about our late afternoon visit was outstanding.
I will say that I miss the Bananas Foster that was on the menu when we first found Blue.

When we arrived, the music was very loud. I don't know what the music was. It was very rocky and certainly not dinner music. We asked our waiter if he would turn it down and he accommodated our request. As for the kind of music, it might be suitable for the bar area, but not so for the general dinning area.
The new outside dinning area looks like a winner, but it was much too cold to eat outside inspite of your heaters.
Blue is one of our favorite places, so we will be back"

"Becky, our waitress, was one of the best I have ever had. We enjoyed phenomenal service from her, great food and an overall nice experience. We enjoyed a nice bottle of 2010 Caymus Cabernet and a bottle of Two Hands Lucky Country. My steak was a LITTLE disappointing in that it was thinner than I thought it should be and SLIGHTLY more cooked. I ordered it rare and it was prepared medium rare. I would have preferred a 1.5 inch to 2 inch cut and I got a 1 inch cut. Why the detail: to explain the SLIGHT disappointment in the steak. However all other facets were the tops! Given that the Caymus was not inexpensive, the overall tab was palatable."

"Four of us dined and experienced not only fantastic service but finely prepared delicious entrees and sides. The appetizers turned out to also be a big hit. Well worth the cost and drive from NJ. I would definitely go back and highly recommend!!!!"

"I thought the price of the buffet was a bit high for the type of food offered, considering the fact that we were in a large banquet room.
Many times the food selections ran out and it took 5-10 minutes to have a fresh tray appear. The seafood station had no drawn butter.
The dessert station had 2 cakes, 2 types of cookies and 2 types of breakfast bread. There was not a large variety of desserts...disappointing.
Bread/rolls/butter were not a part of the buffet...even though there was an omelet station.
The young server at our table was excellent, however. She cleared plates away quickly and asked frequently if we needed anything."

"Having recently been at the Hotel Bethlehem's Sunday Brunch(fantastic), I thought I would try the Easter Brunch at the Event Center @ Blue. The cost of brunch was comparable at both places & I have not been to a brunch since the Blue was CANDLELIGHT INN. The cost (total $295.00 - $34pp) for our table, was expensive for the menu offered. Prime rib was very fatty, not many selections for sides (only potatoes) & limited non-breakfast/breakfast items & even though minor,no bread selections, ex:bagels w/crm cheese/croissants/rolls. Based on BLUEs standards,it could have been more elaborate ex:cheeses,soups,rice,pastas,etc. I will say that the shrimp cocktail were absolutely amazing (crisp/fresh) the lamb was delicious, & the omelet station A+"

"Have enjoyed each visit to Blue Grill House. Attended weddings, had memorial lunches for family members, attended oldish and business meetings there, had lunch and dinner often and always very good. The renovations in both the ballroom and dining rooms are fantastic and the staff always go the extra mile in service and friendliness."

"This is a nice restaurant for dinners in the dining area. The Easter Buffet was wanting for more ambiance and less noise. The desserts were horrid. It was adequate over all. I would not attend the Easter Buffet again. But I would go to the restaurant for dinner. For the price it was rediculous to have two salad dressings and tacky to have cookies on the dessert display. The cakes were less than desirable. I felt embarassed to have brought ten people there for Easter dinner buffet. But the service was wonderful. I would like to say that I had a wonderful waiter. He was so kind and made the event almost worthwhile. Great wait staff, horrid presentation."

"Excellent food, service, and ambience! Everything from our salads to steaks to desserts were expertly made without being overly fussy. We'd go there for any special occasion or just a quiet meal for two. Warm, yet modern decor is comfortable and snazzy at the same time. Can't wait to come when the weather allows for outside dining!"

"It was very loud, the hostesses were trying to decide where to seat us and out loud in front of us say well she's a new waitress we won't seat her. I think thay is really unprofessional! The food was good but that was the only recommendable part of the night. Our server acted like she hated her job, as well. Honestly, I would only go back for the food and nothing else!"

"Went at 9:30 as one of the last patrons for the night. They are courteous and do not rush you at all even though we know their shifts are ending. The only problem was the creme brulee was cold which means it was a previously made refrigerated dessert. That cost them 1 star on my ratings list. Maybe I'm being too nit-picky as this place sets the bar high with the atmosphere, ambiance, and prices."
