"I chose Woody's for Mother"s Day brunch for something special and got just the opposite. We might as well have gone to Barnhill's or Ryan's, the food would have been the same and at least those places can keep enough food out there for everyone to eat. The food was average at best, a lot of it cold that was supposed to be hot, and Woody's is definitely not set up for a buffet and cannot get food out fast enough. Woody's is awesome when you order off the menu and I have rarely been disappointed, but I will never eat there again for a brunch. I paid $70 for 4 people and when we went through the line there was little food left and no dessert. We even checked back 20 minutes later and there was even less food. Stick with menu items Woodys!"

"When I made the reservation I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to order off of the menu. We attempted to eat at the buffet but all of the selections were in short supply. Many were refilled a limited number of timex while we were there and people swarmed over it as soon as it arrived. We grew tired of making trips to see if anything had been replenished. Our server was excellent and kept apologizing for the conditions at the buffet."

"My husband Brad and I visited Woody's to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and made feel most welcome. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful in regards to the specials and items listed on the menu. She did an excellent job throughout our meal. We chose Woody's because they offer several wild game dishes. The sampler we tried featured Buffalo steak, Quail & Alligator tail. It was fabulous! Thank you Woody's for making our anniversary dinner so special. We will be back to see you again.

"The bread was amazing! It was served hot with raspberry butter. The service was also very food. However, I ordered a medium rare and more are the rare side. The steak came out medium well and was chewy. Because it was so late and I was so tired, I decided not to send it back. I also ordered the green beans and they were way over seasoned.
Overall it was okay. If we go back to Tupelo, I will probably not go back."

"of course we had heard about Woodys on Food TV, but being from Birmingham, we had to have another reason to go to Tupelo (2 1/5 hours)... once that reason came up, that was predetermined that we would go to Woodys and check it out... We weren't diappointed... Food and service were great and it was 'funny' to see the light fixtures that were part of the show...

"We were greeted by the Grinch, who took apparent delight in telling us we were 15 minutes early for our reservations. But not just us, but all of the 7:00pm reservations who came in.then, enter Feather, who had a huge smile on her face, and went to find us a table. Then our delightful waitperson came to the table and contributed greatly to the ambience and the wonderfully romantic dining experience. The steaks were excellent, the fish incomparable and the service and wine excellent."
