"We had a large group (16 people) and owner Anthony worked with me in advance to create a limited menu with a great deal of variety in choices and price. When we arrived, our table was ready and each place was set with a copy of our special menu. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food (the cioppino was excellent!),the service was fabulous(Leo was our waitperson and he is a gem), timing from the kitchen was right on the mark, and we all had a wonderful time! Other pluses: ample parking, nice lighting/ambiance, full bar."

"We have visited Caprino's five or six times and have always had a good experience. We have visited as a family (ages 10 & 7) and found the staff to be very accomodating and attentive. Likewise we have brought guests and everyone is always impressed with the food, service and ambiance. We drove by the restaurant for years and thought is was a little pizzeria. We were happily surprised when we finally gave it a try. The Lamb Osso Bucco (as a special) is excellent. The lobster ravioli is always a great choice as is the simple but tasty spaghetti with meatballs."

"Overall I was disappointed with the restaurant. The noise level coming out of the bar was ridiculously loud. The beef I ordered was tasteless, and my girls didn’t like the pizza. My wife's chicken dish was good. The wine pour ($11.00) was a joke (maybe 4 ounces, probably 3). After our 4th person arrived and was seated, I had to go find the waitress to order appetizers. This is a small (and very loud) restaurant, and the waitress would walk to one table or another without ever looking over to see if another table needed her. I tried waiving her down twice; she was totally clueless (poor training). After dinner, we were approached 4 times to see if we wanted desert (the manager, the waitress, the bus boy, and somebody else). Poor rating."

"Caprino's has been our favorite Italian restaurant on the peninsula for 10 years now. It's a gem for wonderful food and charming atmosphere. Our favorites are Caprino's Chicken (it's a classic) and Spaghetti and Meatballs. It's the gem of Belmont. Great wine list too."

"Our experience was superb. The food was well prepared and nicely presented. Our server, Leo, was attentive and familiar with the wine list which is expansive for a restaurant of this size. We will be back to enjoy other items on the menu."
