"The food at Piacere is good, the service is spotty, but the atmosphere is perfect. There's nothing better than sitting outdoors, sipping a bloody mary while enjoying an appetizer and people-watching. We've been here several times and it's still one of our favorite activities for a Sunday afternoon."

"Piacere is one of the best places for brunch, the food is prepared very well and service can't be beat. We were 12 with four Mothers in our group for Mother's Day and we all were made to feel right at home. Our waitress was great, even though the restaurant was very busy she answered all our questions with complete attention to our needs. Each one of us had a great time. We'll be back!"

"We were a large party of 10 for a business lunch. Service was a bit slow - but the waitress was very fun which made the wait okay. Two people ordered the Shrimp salad specifically because it came with Avacado? Unfortunately, we had to ask for the avacado. I would definitely go back - and I've been there many times before. Thank you."

"Food was good. We sat outside which was very pleasant. The only issue was that one of the items we ordered we did not receive and it was on the bill. With all the choices of Italian/American fair on this busy street they need to up their game."

"The wine list is amazing and waitress outstanding. When asked she recommended the special wood grilled brussels sprouts appetizer. Even though I usually detest brussels sprouts I ordered them just to see and could not believe how fabulous they were!!! True test of a good waitress is to know your restaurant specials."

"The Citrus Salad was outstanding and the roasted beet salad was superior. The Argentinian Amlbec was outstanding with its cedar finish. The Pinot Grigio from Santa Cruz was smooth and light...very nice. The Scallops were perfectly cooked; the tomato, mozzarella, basil pizza was excellent; the small plate of Asparagus Tortellini with Goat Cheese combined flavors that titilated the palate. The horseradish pancake was good but could have used more horseradish...the salmon it was combined with was good."

"This was one of the worst meals we have ever had!!!! Our server could have cared less if we were happy or if the food was o.k. and he threw things at us.... The menu was odd and didn't have the kinds of food that we thought this restaurant had...We have been there over the years, many times and it was always goo. THere was such a lively bar scene and loud music that it was almost impossible to walk out of there. We will not go back!!!!!"

"never ,never again on valentines day. we have dined here in the past, even on valentines day, but the service this time was the w o r s t. we were seated promptly, waitress came over before we could even look at the menus. we didnt see her again for 20 minutes. the dinner took a total of 3 hours, and we had to take our dessert to go because it was late and we had to go to work the next day. every course took about 45 mins to get. no bread on the table till we asked. my appetizer went to the guy at the table next to me, who had already had his and graciously gave it to me. wine came out wrong, i got my courses about 10 minutes before my husband got his. waitress just kept coming out with apologies, and not one thing was comped."

"We went there for Valentine's Day. The martinis were watered down when finally delivered. An "end cut" of Prime Rib was anything but. The second entree we ordered was tasteless. All in all, for a special (and not inexpensive) dinner, it was anything but special."

"We made the mistake of dining out on Valentines Day but since this has been a favorite restaurant of ours where we have had many good meals in the past we thought we would be safe. WRONG. Bad food, rushed service but slow to engage with us, wines on the menu that werenot in the cellar, and horrible experience overall, sadly. We will not be repeat customers."

"We ate a weekend lunch here; we ordered coffee, which took twenty minutes to show up. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which he described as dry but not bad. I ordered a half portion of the risotto gnocchi, which the waiter assured me was large enough for a lunch portion. There were FOUR gnocchi. When I asked what happened to the rest of them, the waiter responded, "well, it's the half portion." I then decided to order a cup of soup, which was the potato leek; it essentially tasted like a cup of thickened saline. The soup was so salty I couldn't eat it, and was clearly from a can. We decided to just get a coffee refill and head out; it took another twenty minutes to get more coffee. Disappointing (lovely patio though)."

"Enjoyed my dinner but we had to return my mom's cuz the meat was supposed to be well done but it was burnt and had the bitter taste. We also had a wobbly table but they took care of that pretty quick. I was a little disappointed that my 50th Birthday was not acknowledged even though I had mentioned it on the Open Table when making reservations. Last year, they acknowledged it. Everyone else enjoyed their food & yummy drinks."

"The food quality has really gone down. It is becoming a mediocre place which charges premium prices. Occasional live music is not enough what is going on in the kitchen"

"A very pleasant dinner. The citrus salad was quite unusual, with lots of great tastes and textures. The trumpet mushroom appetizer was also flavorful, more like a salad than what we expected. The artichoke raviolis were excellent and the Day Boat Scallops were perfect, with flavors found in the citrus salad in a different form. We picked a nice Italian white from their special wine list which was excellent. The wine list is a bit pricey in general however. The staff was conscientious and polite."

"This was our first time to visit Paicere. The draw was several unique items on the menu such as the lamb bacon mash potatoes. We had the roasted beet salad which was very good. It was tangy, the greens were fresh, and the beets blended with with the greens. The sliders were great and there was huge amount of french fries. I had the pork chop which was a little on the fatty side; but, the roasted yams made up for it.
The place was hopping which made the service abit on the slow side and a few times I felt abandoned; but, this won't deter me from a second visit."
