"I'd eaten at table 31 several years ago and they had an excellent menu. This time the menu was a laminated sheet like you would find In a diner not a top steakhouse.the staff were courteous but their knowledge of the wines was somewhat lacking, food was good, but way to expensive for what was served. I expected to be knocked off my feet, instead I left feelin as though I overpaid for an ok meal I could have gotten just about anywhere for 1/4 the price."

"Food was just ok, nothing extraordinary. The first bottle of wine we ordered was sold out so we ordered a different one. Then we decided to try a different wine and it was also sold out. This is an Italian restaurant but more of an Italian fusion. If recommend this as a place for drinks and appetizers. Not for dinner."

"This is a perfect place to go for a date. It has live blues or jazz entertainment every Saturday night. It's a perfect place to go,especially if it's a cold Buffalo night where you stay and have a leisurely dinner and then hang around for live music and dancing. The bar crowd is upscale, and is not crowded."

"While the good was once elegant and delicious, the more informal and ordinary menu is disappointing. Sea salt spread on and around the pizza made it intolerably salty; the same was true of the soup. Fish, though a small portion, was fresh and prepared well, but overpriced for the size of the portion."

I had a picante pizza, it was so delicious & way more than enough. it was my first time visiting Table 31 for lunch and I noticed it is packed at lunch time which was a great break from a boring office all day. "I absolutely loved it. The hostesses were so adorable and polite, they also catered to my request of a window booth. Server was so nice and friendly. Also, very helpful and aware of the menu because I had many questions about wine pairings. The scallops and cavatelli were great choices. The scallops were wonderful I would recommend them to everyone. The assorted cookies were also delicious especially the raspberry, a fresh raspberry right on top! My experience was great and I will definitely be back soon."

"Lunch with a former colleague. Food was good but definitely not special. Service was not particularly professional. Our server was very nice, but seemed a bit too casual and inexperienced for the price point of this restaurant. Busboy (man) was brusque to the point of rude. Runner never asked who had which entree and just set the wrong plates in front of us. I expect more when I spend $75 on lunch."

"We made a reservation for two at 7pm on saturday night. When we got there we were pleased there was a table ready for us. We inquired about some of the wine choices but unfortunetly our inexperienced waiter could not offer us any guidence, and simply pretended the few choices we questioned were the greatest. We promptly ordered our entree, and one hour & fifteen minutes later we were finally served. Our meal took so long we were forced to eat it in a hurry because of a after dinner commitment that we felt we had left plenty of time for. Additionally, the meal was completely disappointing. The chicken ravioli had zero flavor and we didnt even eat them, and "Grandmom's meatballs" were no better. Our waiter offered us nothing but an apology."

"It was a very disappointing evening starting with the cocktail: I asked for a Perfect Manhattan up with a twist, and had to describe it for the waitress who dutifully wrote down every detail and still got it wrong. It was a long wait, so we didn't bother to send it back, but we did mention when she again came around that the drink was not a Perfect Manhattan. She appeared not to speak English at that point as she made no comment and her face was blank. Oh well.
We ordered the Fritto Misto for two to start: it was a rather puny portion and should not have been described as "for two." The mushroom fettucini with artichoke did have two small artichoke pieces which I found after poking around. We had to ask for bread.
Not what we expect"

"My experience went well in the beginning. The atmosphere was very relaxed and calm. After the appetizer (mussels), the service went downhill. I asked for my steak well done, but the server preferred/suggested medium well, so I went with that. When I received my steak it was rare and barely cooked in the inside. I understand that this day was considered a holiday, but the wait was extremely long. The couple next to me received their food before I did (they ordered after my date and I). I was expecting a lot different but because it was Valentines Day I was hoping for a much better experience."

"The food was great but the service was very poor. My girlfriend and I went on valentines day and we were seated directly under a speaker and could barely hear each other speak. Then we became annoyed that our server was taking so long to return to us. The worst part was that Table 31 usually has my favorite dessert but the special valentines day menu did not have it included. For the price of the food it was not worth it"
