315 Restaurant & Wine Bar
315 offers a truly French experience in a city overflowing with Southwestern restaurants. Chef Louis Moskow's classically prepared cuisine is given a contemporary twist as a result of his commitment to using only the freshest ingredients. Although customer favorites remain on the menu year-round (including seared duck breast, French onion soup and country pate), Moskow offers an extensive daily menu of beautifully executed dishes such as steamed grouper with baby bok choy, house-cured salmon and lobster ravioli, as well as soft shell crabs and squash blossom beignets, in season. Desserts including lemon crepes, chocolate pot de creme and profiteroles are alone worth a visit. The wine bar, one of the largest and most well-conceived in the region, includes more than 250 seasonally-driven selections from the finest vineyards in the world. Located on the historic Old Santa Fe Trail, 315 is housed in a beautifully renovated southwestern residence. The outdoor patio is open June-October.

"Bistro 315 Restaurant and Wine Bar remains a favorite for us--the biggest challenge is choosing from among our favorites and the seasonal specialties. We can highly recommend the squash blossom beignets, the charcuterie plate, the dry-aged cote du boeuf, AND the duck--we have experienced consistent excellence in all of them. The staff members are always friendly, unpretentious, engaged, and genuinely invested in the quality of our experience. Over the many years we have enjoyed Bistro 315, they have often upgraded our bottle of wine, recommended hidden gems from the menu, and surprised us with "gift" desserts--and we aren't there but a few times a year."

"What a great place! The restaurant has several small rooms each having charm. The intimacy and small spaces allow for quiet conversation (except there was one very loud woman in the bar, obviously not the fault of the restaurant). The food was excellent, the waiter friendly and attentive but not overly so. I would definitely make a repeat visit if I should be in Santa Fe again."

"Low key, great "French-ish" food, a very relaxing, pleasant evening. Wine list is not overwhelming, but coverage is fine...and moderately priced.
We have visited this restaurant three-four times a year since it opened. It continues to get better each time. A favored part of the Santa Fe food scene."

"I've eaten here many times and the food is always flawless. The service is a little hit or miss in my experience, but this most recent time it was perfect. (Last year on Valentine's I had a terrible service experience, but it appears to have been isolated.)
On this visit, the service was friendly, food was perfectly prepared and perfectly paired with the sides and sauces. The lengthy wine list gave us plenty of choices at various price points. When they were out of the bottle I ordered, they offered the next price point up at the price for what I'd ordered and the staff was able to point to a bottle that would be comparable. We shared a fabulous vanilla bean creme brulee for dessert with a glass of port and went home wonderfully happy."

"Every once in a while a restaurant come along and surpasses all expectations. We had this happen with 315 Restaurant & Wine Bar. From the moment we approached the entrance, to every detail of the service and food, the experience was one of quality and easygoing style. "We made a reservation for 3 for a very busy time when it was difficult to get a reservation anywhere. Then 2 more family members joined us and the host accomodated our larger group graciously. We had a wonderful dining experience. Everyone loved their entrees. We were especially impressed with the delicious and unique Grilled Bibb Lettuce Salad."

"I requested via Open Table a nice table since we were celebrating my wife's 50 BD. They gave us a very ncie corner table. The food was great. Highly recommended the Ceasar salad with fried calamari. My wife's lamb stew and my 10 oz steak and frites were very tasty and meat was very tender. My steak had a peppecorn sauce that wasn't too heavy.
We order for dessert their homemade icecream. Excellent. They brought it to our table with a birthday candle (nice touch). An dessert was on the house!"

"The ponytail guy needs training in how to assist customers with their coats. He took us to our table then started to walk away then said "may I take your coats? and stood near the closet waiting for us to walk over to him and give him our coats. He doesn't seem to understand that he should offer to take the coats before seating guests. The waitress provided excellent service. The food was excellent. The ambience lovely. We're locals."

"One of the best places to eat in town. The classic French cuisine always impresses. A great place for a romantic dinner. We really appreciate the great variety of half bottles as well as their quality. We will be back."

"The Jaffurs wine tasting and paired menu was our excuse to go to 315 this time (only our second). The food was top notch, the 2009 Grenache exquisite, and though not on the menu, it was the courtesy coffee and shards of chocolate that rounded off the delicious meal that will keep us coming back. The perfect final touch to a lovely evening, thank you."
