Husband-and-wife co-owners Michael Susy Glick welcome you to their contemporary steakhouse. Conveniently located only two blocks from the 92nd Street Y, Parlor Steakhouse features the type of elegant, stylish interior that Upper East Side residents have long desired in their neighborhood. Both the restaurant’s menu and its décor appeal to a broad range of diners: from young couples meeting for a drink and solo guests grabbing a casual dinner at the bar, to foursomes and business diners looking for a delicious meal in an attractive setting. Parlor Steakhouse’s menu offers items at many price points and encompasses both steakhouse classics and a wide range of creative preparations, particularly seafood dishes, courtesy of Executive Chef Lucas Billheimer, a veteran of Lure Fishbar (and Park Avenue Café). "My son and a friend of his took her mother and I for a Mother's day brunch at Parlor on the Saturday before. It was wonderful! The food, the service, the ambience, and the wonderful muffins were such a nice experience on an otherwise rainy day. The sun came out inside Parlor!"

"This was our second visit to Parlor Steakouse and we've been very happy with both of our experiences. We went there for brunch with our teenage daughter on Easter and had a great meal; my wife and I were so impressed that we returned to celebrate our wedding anniversary on a Saturday evening.
The restaurant was very busy but the service was attentive and prompt, the food was delicious, the wine list expansive and with good choices at all price points. We had a lovely meal and Parlor Steakhouse even bought us dessert to say happy anniversary.
We highly recommend Parlor Steakhouse!"

"This is one of my neighborhood favorites. However, yesterday was pretty much a disaster mainly due to the service. The redeeming point was the General Manager who eventually stepped in to provide the expected customer service and show empathy but should he be spending his time correcting sloppiness.
I hope this was just an off day!"

""bottoms up" brunch is great. I had the "BLT" fritatta, boyfriend had the steak & eggs. Both were great, though the serving size of the steak was a bit small. We shared a side of mac n cheese, which was delicious. They allow you to have just champagne, rather than a mimosa, which I appreciate."

"Parlor has been our weekly dinner spot for almost 2 years now. We LOVE IT! For girls nights, couples nights and date nights!!! The only reason I am giving Parlor 4 stars instead of 5 is because this latest trip was during a March madness game night. Usually it's fairly quiet, with only an occasional "Yeah" or "NO!" But this time, the noise was deafening! Additionally, they recently changed their seasonal food items. The pasta dish I ordered was SUPER SALTY. I didn't eat very much of it, when the waiter noticed that I wasn't enjoying my meal, he asked if he could get me something else. They immediately took the pasta dish off the check and offered me a desert on the house. Excellent Service"

"I have been going to Parlor Steakhouse since they opened a few years back. The food quality, service and overall experience is always consistent. Even when crowded, the servers are pleasant and helpful. You may wait a bit longer to be served, but all within reasonable limits. I am not a fan of their crab rolls but everything else is lovely. It can be a bit pricey, but name a steakhouse that is not! I have brought friends there from all over the world there, they all loved it and ask to go back every time they are in town! Good job Parlor, keep it up!"

"All around excellent place,from the moment we were greeted at the front door though dinner ( Keely, our server, was wonderful ) and after. There was no rush. It was just a very pleasant evening."

"The food was really good, but we were shocked at how disparate the service was in comparison. Waiter was terrible -- disappeared after taking order. Water glasses empty, did not check on us once we received apps and entres. We had to ask someone to take our empty plates from the table. Waiter made inappropriate comments and was very odd. We regularly noticed that members of the wait staff regularly huddled together in corner. There was no organization of staff. No one regularly circulating. Terrible dining experience but for the food."

"I've been to parlor a few times. On this visit the bone in rib eye was excellent. And, for me, it always comes down to the quality of the steak. I would recommend Parlor for that reason. Hopefully the quality will remain the same when I return."

"we've walked past parlor a million times since moving into this neighborhood 4 years ago and finally made time to go to dinner here! it's a great place - and PACKED on a friday night despite the crummy weather. Energetic atmosphere, great food, overall a very nice experience, definitely recommend! the flanks steak was delicious + desserts were amaaazing."
