"Very good food in a charming location. The patio/sidewalk cafe out front is very pleasant with a charming view and lots of trees and plants. Inside, next to the patio, is a little bar area that was very noisy and had a guitar player. Toward the rear of the restaurant is more elegant seating as in a high end restaurant. All tables had linen table cloths. My scallops were delicious and artfully presented. My wife's burger was great and presented in a typical bistro style. Service was good. Foodies will love this place. RGinTally"

"My wife and I were first-timers at the Quarter Bistro this week and decided to take a risk, based on Urbanspoon ratings, to celebrate our 20th anniversary there. Everything was outstanding - food quality, service, presentation, ambiance - you name it. Our expectations were more than satisfied. Our table was perfect and the room atmosphere was lively but not loud; very enjoyable. The staff worked seamlessly together to great effect. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. My only regret is that we don't live closer."

"Service exceeded expectations. We went with our three grown boys and total with tip was $168. We had salmon, steaks, ribs and each had a glass of wine or beer. I thought it was reasonable for a special occasion. The dress is smart casual with several men in sport coats. I felt underdressed in my tangerine colored jeans."

"We brought friends who'd never been and they couldn't stop thanking us. They are world traveled and love trying all types of food in all kinds of restaurants. This was a winner! It can be noisy during the busy dinner hours, but the noise is manageable. I recommend notifying them ahead of time that a quieter table is needed and the hostess will make every effort to seat you accordingly."

"Overall, our experience was fantastic! The food was great. I ordered the pork tenderloin and my fiancee ordered the veggie tacos. Our server was so nice and obviously experienced. My only problem was with the hostess. We had reservations at 8 but we showed up at 7:25 to get drinks at the bar. We checked in, went to the bar (which is only about 5ft away from the hostess stand), got our drinks (amazing bar service), and waited. 4 women without a reservation were seated at 8. It wasn't until 8:30 that the bartender reminded the hostess we were waiting. She told us it was our fault for not reminding her we wanted a seat and said sorry. It bothers me that the hostess told me it was my fault for not doing her job. I was very nice to her."

"Mussels were very good as was tomato basil soup which is pretty thick. Drinks are outstanding as are desserts. Our waitress, Chelsea, is a gem as she's very professional yet friendly. Want to go back and try other things, but the menu could use some daily specials and overhead other table's comments about their dinner which seem to indicate that entrees could use better execution. Am going back to check out, but we had a great in a thankfully upscale atmosphere."

"Disappointing! I went to the Open Table website to make my Valentines Day reservations and was excited to see this restaurant was the highest rated locale still accepting reservations. The manager did call to confirm my understanding that the menu was a fixed one (in lieu of the holiday). Normally, I wouldn't mind such a menu. He assured me that there were 3-4 selections available for each course, and the overall cost was $69. When my wife and I arrived and were seated, we were surprised by the highly unusual and unknown options available to us. In each case, the selection we WOULD have chosen would have added a $10 surcharge for each course. An automatic 20% tip for all parties and $200 later, we walked out unfed and unimpressed"

We have been to the quarter over 50 times and the only knock I have ever had is that their menu can go long periods without introducing new menu items, although they do have specials that lends some variety. I tell everyone it's my favorite."
