Don’t let our building fool you, we are an upscale steakhouse right in the heart of Pearland. We are the only restaurant in town serving Allen Brothers USDA prime beef, as well as the prestigious Texas-raised Akaushi Kobe beef. Certified Executive Chef Ron Killen has returned to his home town after training at Le Cordon Bleu and honing his culinary skills throughout the U.S. Our hand-cut steaks are cooked to perfection on a state of the art infrared broiling system that seals in the natural juices of the steak, creating a one of a kind “melt in your mouth” experience. All of our food is prepared fresh daily, using only the finest produce and freshest ingredients. Even our sinfully rich desserts are homemade and the only thing frozen in our kitchen is the ice cream! Come in and see what the whole country is talking about!

"Yep. It's a long drive to Pearland from the city, but Killen's makes it worth your while. The restaurant is unpretentious but comfortable, and the steaks are amazing. Many choices at many prices, and all cooked to perfection. Let's put it this way - you can get a great steak in town in a fancy atmosphere, but don't forget, you're paying for that dining room, too. For the same money, you get a superior steak at Killen's. Ample sides are good to share. Excellent service from a knowledgeable waitstaff. And if you like coffee after dinner, splurge and go for the 'Breaking Bad' coffee service. They make it tableside with a contraption that looks like it came from a chemistry lab. and the coffee is terrific! Will definitely return!"

"We brought friends from Houston who could not believe this was in Pearland.
Hands down the best crab cake you will ever eat.
The American Kobe beef (they have Wagyu and Mishima) is amazing. They do all of their own aging--both wet and dry.
The carrot cake is ridiculously good -- served warm and worth every calorie."

"Steak lover's dream - There were so many choices, but the dry aged steak I had was outstanding. My wife had the venison chop, which was also very good, but the sausage that was served with it was almost better. Our only real complaint was that we had come in for something of a romantic dinner and it seems like all of the tables around us were having business meetings. One table behind us was even showing a slide show of some sort on a laptop. I will definitely be back for another great steak, but I'll try harder to not sit next to business guys abusing their expense accounts."

"We went with another couple and all 4 of us enjoyed our evening at Killen's. The crab cakes were delicious, the rib-eye steak we had grilled over wood and it was just the right amount of smoke and added so much flavor. We had fun and felt like we had stepped back in time a little bit- it's kind of an old fashioned steak house- but the menu definitely has something for everyone!"

"I had high hopes when I took my wife to Killens for a night out. The resaurant looks far nicer insde then the xteriror would indicate. We were seated quickly and the waiter went into detail about the various steaks available and the type of aging. Our appetizer was a pulled pork Samosa which was very good.
I ordered the ribe-eye medium well (wet aged) and my wife ordered the filet medium (wet aged) While my wife enjoyed her steak but I felt mine was over-cooked and a little tougher than I would expect for a Rib-eye.
Overall the meal was so-so and not what I would expect for the price.
I truly wanted it to be a great experience and yet it fell short."

"Due to my boss's generosity, who rewarded my hard work by telling me to take my girlfriend to dinner and to bring him the bill for reimbursement, we decided Killen's was THE place. And it was indeed the right decision.
The cocktails were potent, the crab cake appetizer was divine, and the sweet potatoe fries and signature cream corn sides were very good. But, the Mishimi 14 ounce NY strips we each had were without a doubt the best steaks we had ever eaten. Prepared perfectly, the flavor was rich and the meat nearly melted in our mouths.
Justin's assistance in selecting the right cab, topped off a wonderful evening."

"After hearing nothing but good things about Killen's, my wife and I took the drive from Sugar Land and had one of the finest meals of our lives. Started with fried asparagus with lump crab meat. Absolutely delicious. The waiter Patrick was awesome and really knew the food and wine! Dry aged Ribeye was to die for. All of the sides were great! Try the cream corn. It is incredible. Topped our meal off with the Creme Brulee Bread Pudding! Great meal!"

"My husband had been to Killen's for a work dinner and couldn't say enough good things about it. Since he is not a foodie at all I figured I had to go. I am not one to write reviews but I was beyond impressed. This place is AMAZING! Way better than III Forks. We were seated right away and they gave us a little card for our anniversary which was a very nice little touch. Patrick our server was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. We will be going again. The wet aged ribeye had such a nice salty crust to it. It makes my mouth water just thinking about when we can go again."

"My wife of 34 years passed away two (2) years ago and our love of gourmet dining and cooking together came to a screeching halt. I was inspired by a fantastic meal, great company, and a lively conversation that could actually be heard across a round six top. I must say that Killen's lived up to glorious reviews we had read about for years. Who would believe that Pearland, that sleepy, sub-suburban village just south of Houston and the Harris County line in Brazoria County could harbor such a gem! I have had no better meal, and Houston is chock full of steakhouses, and Houstonians and Texans in general are a bit touchy when it comes to defefending their favorite one. I can honestyy say that Killen's needs to be up there at the top."

"Four of us decided to make over an hour drive to this remote restaurant. Although we had a reservation, we waited for more than 30 minutes for a table by the kitchen in a very noisy room.You are assigned to a table and if those diners have not finished, you were destined to wait in a non-existent waiting area. The beefsteak tomato salad was really good but the other three had green salads that were nothing special. Two out of four steaks were overcooked and the side dishes were not as good as I have had at other Houston steak houses. We had all eaten many times at Pappas Bros., etc. and this dining experience was not what we expected. I do believe it is over rated compared to other area steakhouses based on the food and dining experience."

"This was our third time dining here. The steaks are so tender and juicy, they melt in your mouth. Insalata caprese is my favorite salad with fresh, flavorful tomatoes and creamy mozzarella cheese. No dinner there would be complete without the creme brûlée bread pudding. If you get nothing else, you have to try this. You won't be able to stop thinking about it until your next visit."

"Took my husband here for his birthday. Don't be fooled by the outside of the restaurant as it didn't really look like a "nice" restaurant, but once inside, we were reassured by the classy, yet simple decor. Not a very large restaurant and due to the hardwood floors and lack of upholstery (curtains, seating), a full house of patrons can talk a lot with nothing to really absorb the noise, so it is pretty loud. Aside from that, the food was AWESOME and our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and friendy. I can totally see why this place has won all of it's awards. Hands down, this was the best steak I have ever had in my life. Everything was wonderful on the menu. So good I told my husband I wanted to come back for my birthday."

Amazing food, from beginning to end--fried asparagus was delightful, lump crab cake was amazing and had the best sauce on it that wasn't too heavy or too light, Cesar was perfect, meat was just unbelievable, and the desserts were divine. "My husband and I enjoy dining out. We had never heard of Killen's until my CEO informed us of this restaurant near the holidays. My husband and I looked it up and decided to make reservations. What a lovely restaurant! It is truly an intimate ambiance. I can go on and on about our experience. The service was great, the food was fabulous, you name it... we enjoyed it, which is why my husband could not wait to return. We recently celebrated my husband's birthday at Killen's. There is only one thing I would change to make the experience even better... I would like the tables to be a little more spread out. The tables are too close so you hear the conversations from surrounding tables which somewhat interferes with the full enjoyment."

Prices are comparable with Morton's or Ruth Chris which was a little surprising considering the restaurant was 10 outside of Houston. Attire is business causal, jeans were OK.
