"Over all my experience was very good. I only felt that service needed to be a little better. Some items requested were never brought to the table."

"The experience was excellent , We had a great booth reserved, my friend forgot to call and say we would be 15 min late but they held the table on a busy night. Total thumbs up , food great , they did get a mixed drink order wrong but fixed it quickly."

"I was happy to see that there are new items on the menu. I had the Phlly Cheesesteak on Naan, It was served quickly and nice temperature. Hopmonk is like a European pub in Wine Country. Awexome service also. Lat Dean know that I was impressed."

"excellent burger + fries, cooked to specs. the music is only audible in the music room (tho the bass leaks out). the sound system was a little unbalanced during the opening set, the singer's words were not really discernible. i'd turn down the bass and drums, and up the signal on the singer's mike. jack casady's free set was, well, worth what you pay for...excellent keyboards tho."

"We grabbed dinner before a show- Beer was great! Food was incredible- and we only had the soup and salad! I'm still thinking about the Arugula Salad with Triple Cream Brie! Wowza! The vibe is laid back but energetic! It's a good energy kind of place! Saw The Butterdishes open for The Steve Pile Band perform their Tribute to George Harrison's Birthday- FANTASTIC Show- Great setting! I hope this does become an annual gig as they are intending- It was a NOT TO BE MISSED SHOW and the venue was well chosen! Come to just grab a beer at the bar, eat a meal, enjoy the beer garden and definitely hit up a show in the Abbey! Love Hopmunk!"

"Very nice venue, food and beer. We really enjoy the 60's and 70's rock and blues shows like the recent George Harrison tribute for example. Please keep them in your future schedules as they are getting harder and harder to find locally."

"Excellent service, very good food - we had the samosas, reuben sandwich, and jumbalaya. Very good beer of the month - forgot it's name. It was crowded that night, which made the noise level very high (so that it wasn't easy to always hear our own conversations). It was my wife's birthday and we had a very good time. Definitely a restaurant that we will return to."

"My girlfriend and I found this place from a music performance. We decided to check it out for dinner and open mic night, and was pretty impressed with the food. The server was polite and attentive. The problem with a place like this is that it's located in Sebastopol, where no one cares at all to take care of themselves or dress appropriately for a nice restaurant. Overall pretty impressed though. I would have loved to sit outside in their covered outdoor seating area, next to the fire pits, in comfy seats, but again, Sebastopol's finest decided that would be a good location to smoke weed. Too bad that people are so rude and disrespectful."

"Service was awful. The restaurant was out of over 35% of the menu. The food was terrible. Everyone in my party only ate about half of the food. Salads were delivered at time of meal; not before maincourse. We didn't feel that expressing our concerns to our server, because we felt she wasn't that interested in making us happy as she rarely checked back to see how we were doing."
