"It was a bad management decision to have our server handle a large group and several tables at the same time. Seldom saw server. When we did, he seemed stressed and hurried."

"My husband and I celebrated our Wedding Anniversary by an evening out that included Spezia. It was a great experience and they were very cordial and kind. They made the evening special with fantastic food and fabulous service. They weren't pushy, but gave us the opportunity to enjoy each other, which was the priority. We will definitely be going there again!"

"Food was interesting, muffins were good, as well as the coffee. Not sure if there was any other choices than the buffet, or if there were drinks that came with the meal, knew coffee and juice, but had to ask for coffee, no other drink offered."

"This is the first time we've tried Spezia for lunch, having dined there in the evening on other occasions. The quality of food was excellent as usual and it was nice to find the quieter, more laid back atmosphere."

"Our group of four got seated immediately in a large booth, as requested in our reservation. Service by Donna was excellent. Our group enjoyed the food, but I didn't like the eggplant parmagiana. Also the roasted vegetables were too lightly roasted and not what I had expected. Overall a good night out though."

"The food is delicious however that quickly gets overlooked when it cokes to the cost per portion and especially the terrible service my date and myself received.
It took so long for our server to acknowledge our table I decided to time him...
11minutes to take our drink order
8minutes later to receive our drinks (soda)
6minutes later we were promised some bread for the table
5minutes later it actually arrived
(If you're counting over 30minutes have gone by and we're just now asked about our food order.)
After placing our food order it only took a mere 3minutes for our two house salads to arrive (not bad).. HOWEVER my girlfriend requested no tomatoes on her salad and received them anyways.
Overall worst service I've received."

"The reservation went off without a hitch. We were able to get in on the lunch menu so for the type, quality, and amount of food that he four of us ordered, the price was perfect The tomato basil soup and house salad were extremely good. The service, however, was less than satisfactory. For the middle of the afternoon it was not terribly busy but we rarely saw our waitress. Water, tea, and coffee were all left filled and it took an extremely long time for her to come to our table to take our orders, provide the bill, or come back with our credit cards. If you have nowhere go go after your meal, and are not big beverage drinkers , ie, dont need much service, then this is a pretty good place to go."

"We made reservations online and it was very easy. We got right in and the service was awesome. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was outstanding. "While the waitress was good, I waited over 5 minutes to be seated. I had made a reservation and the hostess was either not well-trained or they need more help at the front desk. A simple acknowledgment of my presence would have been an indication she was aware of my presence. If this is indicative of their customer service, I shall not return. I had been a steady customer in the past; however, customer service has taken a nosedive."
