"We came here (group of 4 adults) for an early Mother's Day dinner and what a treat it was! Despite being Extremely busy with big gatherings upstairs, and a prom taking place on the main floor, we were seated right on time. The service was excellent and the food was perfect. Fresh, good quality meat, fish dishes and hearty portions. We sat in the cellar area which was cozy yet comfy. It was a great dining experience overall. I'd definitely return again for special occasion."

"Way too much activity that Saturday night such that loud groups were gathered (standing) right by our table, teens running around, and I had to practically scream at my table mates. This is not a place to go if you want ambiance anywhere close to quiet. The food and service was otherwise excellent."

"We go to Longfellows at least twice a year, for our Anniversary, and for their Fantastic Mother's Day Brunch. I love their food and service and find items on the menu that other restaurants may not have. The ambiance is to our liking as well as the location. I am willing to pay a bit more for any product or service I enjoy, and Longfellows is on the top of our dining preferences. I also love the fact that it's easy to make reservations online."

"Althought our dinner took awhile to reach us (they were extremely busy and had a party going on as well), the waitress kept us updated and then we were given a free dessert. The food was vey good and the price was reasonable for this type of restaurant. We will go back again."

"We really enjoyed our dinner at Longfellows. The food was not outstanding, but it was good. My fish was very over salted (and I'm definitely a salt lover). I sent it back and was happy to share with my husband from what he couldn't eat. (HUGE portions) They told me they would take it off of our bill and send out a new one for me to eat or take home. The to go portion was much better seasoned. The wait staff and the manager that came out to speak with me were all wonderful. The ambiance was my favorite part. So many cool things to look at. When you go, definitely get up and talk a walk around to see everything outside of the room you're seated in."

"We come to Saratoga quite often and always want to try different places. Surprisingly we never tried Longfellows.
Most of us were in the mood for good seafood and boy did we hit the jackpot. Salmon and sea bass were cooked to perfection and so tasty. Also enjoyed the clam chowder and scallops as the appetizer. Oh and I can't forget the mud sundae- incredible way to top off the delicious dinner.
Friendly staff, very lovely ambience- very cozy yet classy. Cannot wait to go back!!!"

We went for restaurant week on a Saturday night and even though it was very busy our reservations were honored on time and everything was terrific. First time there for our friends who are big OBI fans. They loved it and will be going back as we will. Love the Open table app"

"We arrived at Longfellow's early (5:00 pm) and the place was jumping by 5:30. We were surprised to find out that it was restaurant week in town which might explain the crowd.

The food was good but not outstanding. While the soups were very good the tilapia was tough on one side (undercooked?), everything else on the main plate (wild rice, asparagus, stuffing) was also very good.

Service was a little slow and we felt somewhat ignored. They may not have had enough servers for the crowd that was there...this might have been related to restaurant week."

"We went to Longfellows to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered three appetizers which was plenty for our table of 5. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the portions were very generous. Ive been here many times and I was not disappointed. We sat by the fireplace in the downstairs which was very cozy."

"Have not dined here in a number of years. Brought back old memories. The calamari appetizer was excellent!!! Brushchetta appetizer, unique and very tasty!! My husbands prime rib, very tasty, but a bit fatty, my shrimp and lobster scampi was average, but tasty!! Very good value!! Service was excellent, very attentive and friendly, (our server was Diane) great experience! thank you!!"

"I would never go to this restaurant and hotel on a holiday. Our reservation was for 8:15pm and we never got seated until 10pm! When our main dishes came out they were barely warm and we returned them and went to our hotel room hungry. They did not offer to send us with a sandwich or anything. When we went to use the hot tub there was no cold water. This was a very disappointing evening especially because we have always had such a exellent experience and meal there and we had our wedding there."

"The restaurante setting os one of its kind. In a very stylish old Saratoga environment.
The different areas of the reetaurant make it quiet and personable.
Large enough for groups but at the same time personalized service.
The food is very well made and presented. You can notice the chef has put his effort and style into it.
Their wine and drink selections are vast."

"This was our third time to Longfellow's and as usual the food and atmosphere were outstanding. Unfortunately our waitress was far too busy catering to the couple at the table next to ours. There were numerous times when either my girlfriend or I would try to get her attention and we were basically ignored. The worst instance was when she came to our table near the end of dinner. She had just come from the fore mentioned other couples table and while she was at our table continued to engage them in a conversation. My girlfriend asked to have the rest of her dinner boxed to take home and the waitress told her, "ya ok, hold on a sec," without even looking at her. Although we will be back we won't be letting her wait on us again."

"The steak was lovely with the crab topping and cooked medium rare just how I like it.
Unfortunately I ordered the pork and specifically asked not to get the spinach. There was only one special that served spinach that night. So it shouldn't have been to hard to get the order correct. Especially at 5pm when there were about 5 tables being served. So a good meal, nice atmosphere, friendly staff.....just the wrong meal."

"We had a great time. We are regulars of OBI and married at Longfellows in August 2012. We love Laura the manager of Longfellows, she always makes sure to check in on us and when our favorite table opens up if all ready taken, she moves us there. You have a great employee in her.

We'll be back for the Tuesday night burgers we heard about at the bar!"

"We went to Longfellows for my husbands 50th birthday celebration with eight people in our party. The service was excellent, the food was great and the over-all ambiance is lovely.
