"Made a reservation for 8:30 at night. Didn't get seated for 45 minutes after our reservations. Not good when hosting customers. Noise level very loud - don't go if you are trying to have a serious conversation. Exceptional food. The grilled meat dish on the stone is outstanding!!!!!!"

"It was a disappointing experience. The food was okay - not bad, not great. Certainly not worth the inflated prices (but then, it's the Strip, so you get used to being obscenely overcharged). The service was mediocre at best. There were literally only two other tables with diners when we were there, yet our server was nowhere to be seen for a good 15-20 minutes. I don't mind that kind of thing when it's busy, because I know servers work hard, but come on - when you only have two other tables in the entire restaurant, it shouldn't be like that.
Overpriced pretty much sums it up. Not worth it in terms of food, service, or atmosphere."

"It was a trendy restaurant with nice atmosphere but, the food didn't match the decor. It's Vegas shoo you expect things to be over priced but there are plenty of quality restaurant's with overpriced menus in Vegas that have good food. While the concept of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian food sounds appetizing the quality was mediocre. We had Sushi, some Brazilian steak and a few drinks. The drinks were all made the food seemed to be more focused on concept and presentation than taste. Certainly won't be back for dinner."

"This restaurant never fails to deliver. It is a little on the pricey side, but it is totally worth spending that little extra. Food is heavenly and the drinks list is great too! For that special night in Vegas, I'd highly recommend Sushi Samba. You're unlikely to find many other places that will deliver this special night."

"I want to say that while the food was good it was not of the quality I have come to expect from Vegas dining. I did only sample the sushi rolls and found the food to be just average. Not enough selection on the rolls and the flavor was good but not over the top. I will add the service was good and our rolls arrived quickly. I eat sushi quite often and have so all over the country so I feel justified in my average rating. For the price I would try another strip sushi joint. Thats my two cents worth."

The only criticism with Sushi Samba was noise level of their music. When I can't hear my wife who is sitting right next me unless we yell, well that's a bit much. Otherwise…great."

"We were there for a birthday dinner while on vacation and thus had a larger budget for this meal than usual. We splurged on the "variety" meal our waitress provided as an option which included 8 dishes to share (3 appetizer size dishes of shrimp tempura with a delicious black truffle oil, sea bass robata with Peruvian corn and yellowtail taqueria followed by wagyu (with hot rock stone for cooking at the table with assortment of numerous sauces) and then 3 sushi rolls (rainbow, spicy tuna and maya) and two pieces of kanpachi in a lemongrass sauce. It was delicious with inventive combinations in a vibrant atmosphere. Service was slow at first likely because she had 5 tables sit in a short amount of time. I would definitely return!!"

"It's a great place to share plates and try a variety of different dishes. The combination of brazilian, peruvian and japanese food is very intriguing and quite tasty. The special rolls were absolutely delicious...they were made with lobster, shrimp tempura and crab...YUM! We had some of the most delicious sake I've ever tried. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. I do want to note the smoke from some of the sizzling plates was unbearable at times. It was very noisy and too dim. The selection and ambience isn't quite the same as the NYC location. Good to try the Las Vegas location but maybe just once."

"I like the concept of the sushi and peruvian/brasilian dishesWe went for 3 different steak and each of them were amazingly tender, perfect grill.
However the music: was extremely loud and we have asked several time to lower this. the floor manager refused had difficulties with our request. We could barely hear each other and it looked like other guest hanged over the table to understand each other. The music choice was Dance ; harlem shake, Thrift shop, Britney spears/will I am. Definitely NOT a place for people who want to catch up / have a chat, families or elderly people ( 60+)

"My great niece and I tried several appetizers to sample the menu - instead of getting a main dish. Interestingly enough food here was priced higher than Mesa Grill but Mesa Grill was much better - better flavors, more creativity and better presentation. "The food was amazing, service was top notch, we will be back!
We tried a variety of foods and every plate that came out was "our favorite". The filet in mushroom sauce was amazing, the rolls were delicious, the little tacos and scallops on shell were perfectly cooked. Because all the foods were perfect for our palette, we had to get the banana dessert... 5 stars.
Our server Isaac was very knowledgeable, friendly and prompt.
The other staff was very friendly and smiling.
So sad we went here on our last day, because we would have ate there a few times if we went earlier!"

"Oh, wow!! I love to eat something and react, "How did they make that? WOw!" This retaurant was such like that. Being an amateur at-home chef myself, I have been too often underwhelmed by restaurants these days. Not this place. Outstanding in every aspect. My advice: go with a group, put yourself in the hands of the waiter and let them surprise you, plate after plate. And finish it off with the Samba-split for two! Everything so good...."

"As with just about any Vegas restaurant, the majority of the menu iterms were overpriced -- but the sushi is some of the best around. I've traveled fromn coast to coast and SushiSamba always provides fresh / quality sushi. As far as the rest of the menu items -- there are several unique options -- but small portions and pricy. Everyone in our group really enjoyed there meals - with the exception of the coconut rice (which tasted a little like my coconut tanning oil). The restaurant itself is very trending and on the loud side -- but that fits the Vegas scene. The staff / service - lets just say I've had nicer service at a fast food restaurant."

"I booked a reservation for Sushi Samba for my wife's 30th birthday surprise. I requested a quiet romantic seating area, and they were able to accommodate us by seating us in a booth in the back area rather then the busier front side. My wife had some very specific dietary needs (allergies, no meat, etc.), and they were able to recommend and customize a very good menu selection for us.
As always, the food at Sushi Samba was great - with the exception of the Lobster Ceviche which we didn't care for (personal preference). The King Crab legs and everything else was excellent!
Great service, good food, great atmosphere, we'd definitely go back again!"

"The server's suggestions were a mixed bag - some were good, some not so good. We should have considered her age I guess...but had some different rolls, nice cocktails. Loud atmosphere, and definitely make a reservation."

"Always a good time for a casual dinner with great sushi. My fiancé and I particularly like to grab a seat at the bar for happy hour apps, drinks and sushi. You can't go wrong. Casual spot with fresh sushi! Only comment is...need to add warm saki to the menu, our guests were disappointed to not find any on the menu..."
