Taverna Opa welcomes you to loosen your ties, and have an unforgettable time while enjoying great food and entertainment. Fresh Seafood and Steak along with our nightly entertainment has made Taverna Opa the top destination dining venue in Orlando. Taverna Opa prides itself on the authenticity of its traditional Greek menu along with its fresh seafood and Angus steaks. Private dining room available to seat up to 120 guests. Open for lunch daily at 11:00am-until the ouzo runs out! Located on the 2nd level of Pointe Orlando, open 7 days a week.

"This week was for sixth time and we LOVE it..... just be aware that after 7 pm, when the dancer appears, the noise level goes up to very loud. That might not be suitable for small children. Our 8 year old loves it and loves to dance with the dancer.....We love this place and go back every time when we are in town."

"I found Taverna Opa on Tripadvisor. It was conveniently within walking distance to our hotel. The food was some of the best authentic greek food that I've had in a while. It is a vibrant dining atmosphere, with a belly dancer performing nightly. It was a very enjoyable dining experience. We will definitely be dining at Taverna Opa again when we return to Orlando."

"If you're a tourist and don't want to chat with people you are with, you may enjoy this place. The food was good, service very good But for us, it was WAY TOO LOUD. At 7 the belly dancer comes out. She danced the entire time we were there. She was very good. You are also entertained by the guests having a good time dancing with her, dancing on tables and chugging down ouzo."

"This restaurant is very lively and fun. Music and a belly dancer. People dance on tables.
Great food and the wait staff was terrific. The host staff seemed overwelmed and we waited over 30 minutes for a table in spite of our reservation.
Also, the music was way too loud. Conversation was impossible."

"Everything was great especially the food and happy hour specials... The only thing I didn't like was that we missed the belly dancing show because we sat outside, the serving staff said she would be coming out but once we saw what was going on inside we knew they we would miss it. I celebrated my birthday there and was very upset that I wasn't apart of the party going on inside, and I'm from Detroit do I won't be able to just come back whenever I want"

"Shocking how absolutely horrible it was. I'm from California and drove in the pouring rain 45 minutes to get there and everything was awful. We ordered a variety of meats, salads, etc and when I tell you it was bad, I'm not embellishing, they should be ashamed of themselves if they really are Greek people, you can find better Greek in a mall food court."

"Party of 12 only 3 of us had been before. All of us had a Blast. Making memories to talk about for a long time. Food Good Service and Ambience were outstanding. It is a louder energetic place so if your going to talk business go somewhere else. But if your going to have fun and experience OPA its a must."

"We had a group of 9 and went for my college graduation. They had a great family dining option with tons of food for everyone. The belly dancer was awesome and she got us dancing up on the table a few times through the night. Our server was attentive and lots of fun, he was really on top of things at the table. Overall it was a wonderful night and lots of fun! We will be back!"

"I have eaten at Taverna Opa several times and had great experiences, but this visit was terrible. The mayhem that ensues when the music intensifies for the belly dancer dancing on table tops is normally sporadic and entertaining, but on this evening it was nonstop, and the volume level inside the restaurant was earsplitting for the entire visit. The service was practically nonexistent, and the food was delivered sporadically with only 1 or 2 dishes coming out at a time so that only some of us were able to eat at any given time, but we could see our food sitting in the kitchen window. When we finally got it, it was not up to standard. I was embarrassed that I had brought guests on this visit."

"5 of us ate at Taverna. The food is okay. If you are Greek or live in Tarpon Springs or Smewhere with a Greek population, I'm sure you have had better. The value? - eh. I food it pretty expensive for what you got. The service was a bit chaotic and ditzy, though the restaurant manager was available, helpful, and tried to run a good place. There is a " floorshow" which is hokey and loud.

"We had booked for a Saturday night at 6:30pm, but we arrived at 5:30pm. The restaurant was virually empty, but between 6:15pm and 6:45pm it completely filled up so we might have had to wait pretty long had we arrived at 6:30pm. It was disappointing that the waiter was not Greek. I had a lamb shank and my friend lamb chops, it was OK but I have had better. The cold pikilia were very nice and the baklava to die for. We watched the "entertainment" (a belly dancer) for 15 minutes, then we left. We had the impression that the waiter (a different one this time) wanted us to leave a.s.a.p. to free the table."

"We had made reservations online and called ahead for priority seating but still had to wait for 1 hour and 45 mins. we were seated only after we complained to 2 onsite managers. We were a group of 6 to celebrate a birthday but our whole group was very upset including the birthday celebrant. Will NOT go back there again!!!!

"The only drawback to the evening was the long wait. We made reservations through open table. However, Taverna Opa doesn't take reservations for Fri or Sat. evenings, just priority seating. We arrived at our scheduled "reservation" only to have to wait 90 that's right NINETY minutes for a table. It wasn't until I complained three times that they seated us. The main problem is that once the entertainment starts, nobody wants to leave, even if they've already finished their meal. It put a major damper on our evening. Especially with a handicapped person in our party. A table of 15 including 10 kids dancing on the table stayed an extra hour. On busy nights they should have policy.

"I took twelve 16 yr old girls there for a birthday party because they heard it was a fun place. The key for dining with this age was we made reservations for 6:30 and were done by 8:30. The girls still got the Opa experience of the belly dancer and dancing on the tables and we were out of there just as the bar was picking up and the adults wanting to enjoy their libations were coming in. Great outdoor dining space also if you dont want the noise and music inside. Food was fresh and tasty. Fries were amazing."

"I have been there several times and every time I have had a very good experience while dining, having some drinks or just relaxing while watching people having fun with music and belly dancers at night. It is a must to visit if you've been to Greece!"
