Vic’s is located in a beautiful old cotton warehouse overlooking the Savannah River and Historic River Street. With entrances on both Bay and River Streets, we are easy to access. Pets are welcomed on our outdoor patio, where guests can dine under centuries-old Live Oaks overlooking Historic Factors Walk. "We ate here our last evening in Savannah. It was a good place to enjoy seafood. My scallops were perfectly prepared. Our server was very accommodating to our food requests. Our table was in a smaller room and somewhat warm. More fans would help circulate the air. I would recommend this as a higher-end restaurant to eat at in Savannah that has so many choices to dine at."

"Vic's is a solid 5 out of 5. I had the lamb shank for the first time ever and I may not order it anywhere else again because it would be a let down compared to Vic's. It was the best piece of meat I've had in years."

"My wife and I had a terrific experience as Vic's on June 12th. We were in Savannah to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and we were given a choice table with a river view. "I surprised my fiance with lunch at Vic's and it was amazing. The old historic atmosphere was wonderful and our view over the Savannah River was amazing as well. We were able to watch a storm roll in and cast the town in a light that I have never seen before. I will never forget this restaurant. They went the extra step and gave us a free small cheesecake on a hand decorated plate FREE."

"We ate lunch and dinner here and tried the shrimp and grits, the pecan crusted flounder, the stuffed pork chop , the grouper and appetizers of fried green tomatoes and the egg roll. All were delicious and served with yummy sides and scrumptious biscuits and honey butter. Service was friendly and efficient, not hurried. We loved it and will return when we next visit our family here in Savannah."

"We were visiting Savannah for our anniversary and upon checking into our hotel the staff and other guest recommended that we visit this restaurant, I'm glad we did! The food was amazing, our waiter was down to earth and extremely knowledgeable. I had the pan seared scallops and parmesan risotto, my husband had the seafood trio, both were prepared perfectly! To top the dinner off our waiter brought us an anniversary gift of bread pudding and words of encouragement for our marriage, I got a little misty!! Overall Vic's has to be one of the best dining experiences we've had in Savannah."

"We celebrated our 31st anniversary at Vic's and it was wonderful! Our Hostess took several pictures for us and our wait staff was awesome! "I went to Vic's for lunch and I could not have picked a better spot. I stopped in Savannah on the way to a vacation on Hilton Head Island. The food was so good, I may eat there again on my way back to Savannah airport. Lovely atmosphere overlooking the river. Watching the food being served at other tables, I think I know what to order on my return trip!"

"We were seated right away and we were glad that we had a reservation. The service was very good. We asked our server for recommendations and he was helpful in helping us make our decisions. Drinks were brought promptly. We ordered the calamari appetizer which was very, very good. We also had the filet and the ribeye which were both very, very good. With the calamari, salad and meal, we didn't have room for dessert. All in all, it was a good meal with good service."

"Our server was friendly and accommodating. Please don't let the following take away from his performance. Nothing aside really knocked our socks off. We noted on our reservation that we would need a high chair. There was not one provided for us by the host staff and we ended up having to ask or server for one. Why have the place for noting special needs when the staff doesn't care to read them? Service after that made up for the poor start. Our food was tasty and the portions generous, but nothing actually came out hot. Also, if you're using your Savannah Eats card, the discount advertised (Buy one entree, get one 50% off) is not the discount given (10% off). We were quite disappointed with the experience and will very likely not return."

"when we arrived, the hostess looked a little overwhelmed and she told us that our table was not ready, to go near the bar and have a drink while we wait..so we took a little table to order a drink, and the hostess came back to say, don't sit there it's already reserved!! so at that time we thought that we should go somewhere else, and the noise was so loud...so finally we were ready to go when she came back to say, ok i have a table for you. The table was near the balcony in the back. because of that, there was always people walking back and forth behind our chairs to go there, it was very annoying. The waitress was wonderful, funny, big smile all the time and the food was sooo delicious, so overall we are very happy with our experience."

"My wife and I were seated with a river view. The room was crisp, bright yellow on the walls, tall ceilings, white and black table cloths, very elegant. The service was spot on. The recommendations were excellent. We started with Lump Crab Cake which was more like a lump of crab. Excellent and better tasting then Ive had even in Maryland!. A wedge salad, our main course, my wife had the cashew crusted grouper and I had the seafood mixed grill. The portions were just right and the food was cooked to perfection. We had a great bottle of wine which complimented our individual entrees. To end the dinner, we were given a complimentary Peach cheese cake which was heavenly to celebrate our 31st Anniversary. Its a dining experience not to be missed!"

"Loved Vic's on the River!!! Can't say enough about the food, ambiance, and service! We loved the crawfish beignets, shrimp and grits, and stuffed shrimp. We took our 1 year old for lunch; the service was excellence and the food was fantastic. I don't like taking a 1 year old to an upscale restaurant because I don't want to disturb the other patrons, but they were very accommodating and he wasn't the only child there for lunch. I ordered him the macaroni and cheese side dish, and we couldn't stop eating it, it was that good! The biscuits with peach marmalade they serve with your meal was fantastic as well. I would definitely go back and would highly recommend."

"Our hotel recommended Vic's to us for our only night in Savannah. It is perched on the river front with a balcony from which you can enjoy your cocktail and view the expanse of the Savannah River. A pianist tinkles away with the old favourites - maybe his name is Sam. My wifes rare Scottish caught trout was as good as she has ever tasted and my Southern meatloaf also hit the spot. Able waiting staff make up a good package"

"Everything was fine. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was that it took too long for the waiter to bring us our check. We had an event to get to, were finished eating, our dirty plates removed, but it took forever to get our check and then to get it back to sign. We finally left 20 minutes after we finished eating. Waiter knew that we were going to a wedding. The table next to us had the same issue. That guy was waiving the check in the air to get someone to pick it up and run his card."
