Visit Ruth's Chris Steak House in Buckhead, Atlanta's designated entertainment and shopping district. Less than a mile from Phipps Plaza and Lenox Square Mall, Ruth's Chris is located just off the intersection of Peachtree and Piedmont Roads in the lobby of the Embassy Suites Hotel. Richly appointed, this is the perfect location for a romantic steak dinner, business event, or private party. Private rooms for 10 to 150 guests. The restaurant is easily accessible by rail as it is a short two blocks from MARTA / Buckhead Station, N-7.

"My wife and I generally prefer independent restaurants to chains, but when we want a good steak, we go to Ruth's Chris. The steaks are always prepared perfectly to order, the sides are great, the appetizers are excellent. It may be a chain, but we've never been disappointed with a meal at Ruth's Chris."

"My family likes to go the day before Mother's Day to celebrate. We chose Ruth's Chris this year. We were welcomed when we checked in by our last names and I was immediately told Happy Mother's Day which was very nice. On the way to the table the sweater asked questions about me and my family. I felt like that we meant a lot to them. We were seated and given our menus and told Karol would be our server. My whole family was treated like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Karol was an excellent server and his attention to detail was impeccable . We will be back and will ask for Karol again."

"I've been to a number of RC's and this was a very poor experience. First of all, its inside a hotel so you have lots of noise, people wearing whatever they just woke up in, and staff that clearly had little training. Since when is potato au gratin just barely-melted cheese over sliced potatoes?! The cLientelle - wow, I felt like I was at a burger king or waffle house! Overall, terrible experience and I'm never going back to this place."

"Very long meal service. We were probably there twice as long as we needed to be. One of our guests ordered an appetizer well done and it was clearly medium. We told server and he never offered to replace. The host was a little rude when we shied up with 7 instead of 6. This was a client lunch and another mem Ed of their team joined in just minutes before we left and they work in the building directly across the restaurant. As we left, he didn't Ben bother to look up to say thank you or goodbye. Keep in mind, the entire very long time we were there, there were only two other tables. I have dined at othe Ruth's Chris locations with clients and this was not the same level of service."

"I've never had to send a steak back before, but my husband and I both did due to overcooking. We both ordered medium rare and the steaks arrived medium well to well. My husband's steak was perfect on the second try. Mine was more medium than medium rare, but I ate it anyway without commenting. Our server was very apologetic and could plainly see our steaks were not right. The manager came over and apologized as well. We both had ordered the early menu (a great deal) and fresh sides were brought with our new steaks. We have always enjoyed Ruth's Chris in every city we've tried one. They are always consistent. We will give them another chance. Everything else was as we expected from past experience."

"The location of the restaurant is very odd. There was no hostess there to seat me so I walked around and finally went outside and the valet guy found the hostess. The food was good but the atmosphere and slow service was unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. There are other Ruth's Chris in the area that are much better."

"My first time being there with my girlfriend. I expected high quality service and food, yet it fell short on the food. We noticed something was wrong when two other tables had their steaks send back because it wasn't cooked correctly. Our steaks came and we encountered the same issue. The remainder of our food wasn't hot either. The waiter was excellent, and management was quick to correct any issues with that arised. I'm on the fence though if I would recommend this restaurant."

"My husband and I are steak lovers and after going to Morton's and McKendricks here in Atlanta for years we thought we would try Ruth's Chris. My petite filet was excellent, med-rare like I ordered. My husband got the larger filet, so a much thicker steak and he ordered it medium. It was rarer than my medium-rare. The mushrooms and mashed potatoes were fine-nothing special. The lobster bisque was delicious. The raspberry sorbet and bread pudding was very nice. The service was not on par with other steakhouses of this caliber. Slow and twice we had to wait on refills with nothing to drink. It took quite a while for the server to process our check, but he was very friendly but slow."

"The Caucasian hostess was young and seemed to be inexperienced and was not at all not welcoming. She initially said that I didn't have a reservation which I made several weeks in advance and received email confirmation. The other hostess (African American) was very energetic and inviting. The food was excellent as always. The waiter was friendly, but very forgetful. Also, we had to request the special Prixe menu. The restaurant was not forthcoming about this option."

"Ruth's Chris in Buckhead was a very bad choice of resturants to have a quite birthday dinner.. My wife and I thought Ruth's Chris would be a great alternative to have a nice dinner instead of going to Bones our favorite steak house. The resturant is located in a hotel, and after we were seated you could hear children screaming by the pool that was about ten feet away. The waiter took about 25 min before he ask to take our order and the outside noise from the hotel's lobby was unbearable. The manager saw the frustration on our faces as we did request another table. My wife was almost to her breaking point and was about to call Bones, when we were moved to another table. Once we were seated at our new table things did turn around."

"This is one of my favorite steakhouses, the only downside was the waiter try to switch red wine bottles with us. We selected a 2010 Pinot Noir and tried to give us the same bottle, but it was 2011.
Great steaks and sides."
