"The brunch was excellent. There was a nice mixture of breakfast and lunch items. The salmon and braised beef were delicious. We enjoyed the unlimited Mimosas and Bloody Mary's as well. The servers were excellent, and very attentive."

"This was a first visit for our whole party. There was a Saturday special and we ordered a bottle of excellent wine for $20 and the martini with the blue cheese stuffed olive was the smoothest martini I have had in a long time. I told the waiter that I wanted a martini that was not sweet and he recommended the perfect martini. We shared a few appetizers (the antipasto salad and shrimp) and deserts and two people in our party had entrees and everyone loved their selections. Rich provided excellent service. He knew his menu and was helpful but not overbearing. We will definitely be back!!"

"We really enjoyed the Shed and talked about it all week, which is saying a lot, since often times we go to a restaurant and forget about the experience within 24 hours. I really liked the little touches - they brought out popcorn to snack on! The menu structure is wonderful - you can choose small plates to share or make a meal from or regular sized entrees and each provide good variety and presentation. We will certainly go back, soon."

"Loved our meal! We took advantage of the oysters special -- all 3 preparations were great -- and added in some sliders, the smoked catfish pate, spring asparagus tortellini, and dessert. All the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Owner Todd was very engaging with all guests in the restaurant and he personified "hospitality." The SHED is a great neighborhood spot that I will return to often!"

"My "food" rating was hard to settle on as my husband loved his beet salad appetizer and pork chop main dish. The parsnip soup I ordered was very good, but the roasted butternut squash main dish didn't come together. The squash and the accompanying radishes and turnips were not cooked enough, and the olive sauce didn't add enough flavor. The sun-dried tomatoes also didn't fit into the dish. The ambiance was nice, in spite of a rather large and loud birthday party taking place. Our server was very good and timed our meal well."

"We had a group of eight and they were very accommodating and took great care of us! One thing I appreciate when being out to dinner is not being rushed. They allowed us, and another table of I'm guessing 16-20 people the time to really enjoy our dinners and the people we were gathering with which was wonderful! It allowed for great conversations and fun for the group!"

"The food was very good. Tried 5 of the sliders, and all were very good except for the meatball. Salads were great, as was the popcorn and free tomato basil soup appetizer they dropped off at the table. The mussels were excellent, and I really enjoyed them despite not being much of a seafood fan. It did take forever for us to get seated despite having a reservation, but that was the only negative aspect of the meal. Seemed like a fun place too, and they had some good house cocktails."

"We went to the SHED for Valentine's dinner. They offered a special price fixe menu with an appetizer, entree, and dessert with champagne. For apps Tom had mushroom tortellini and I had beef tartare. The pasta was delicious with a rich cream sauce. The beef tartare was amazing, with a beautiful deviled egg spread, toast, pickles, and fried onions. For entree, he had the NY strip cooked medium and I had the scallops. Both were cooked to perfection and very tasty. For dessert he had peanut butter chocolate bar with nutella gelato and I had the red velvet cake with cream cheese ice cream. The desserts were inventive and delicious! We also enjoyed a locomotive and a negrini before dinner, a nice bottle of french red."

"Bottomless Mimosas. What more do you need? Well, an amazing house-made pastry basket doesn't hurt. Neither do delicious, creamy, stone ground grits. In general, very good brunch food and a nice, neighborhood feel."
