"Always a delightful time, especially on a freezing and windy winter day, a lovely solace because every aspect of the interior decoration exhudes a sort of warm, low glow. This time however, our waiter was a little intrusive and a little too personal, but still took great care of us. Bus and food runner staff amazing! and incredibly attentive."

"The food is good but just about everything we tried was very, very rich. I tend to prefer light, fresh meals but if you like rich and hearty this is a great place for you. We had the Baked Cheese, Crab Louie, and the Caramelized Goat Cheese Tart to start and again, they were all extremely rich. I had the dover sole and my friends had the Steak Diane, Veal and the Amish Chicken, all of which were good but we liked the Dover Sole best of all the entrees. Our server seemed to be annoyed that he was working that evening but overall drinks, food, dessert were presented in a timely manner and the ambiance was wonderful."

"The atmosphere is a blast!! Very active. Love the portraits/decorations/banquettes. The food was delicious. The staff is so gracious. Welcomed at the entrance by a wonderfully friendly hostess who makes you feel like they have been waiting just for you to appear! Shown to your table, you are quickly presented with a menu, water, bread - whatever you need. Drinks are very good as is the wine list. Didn't really want to leave. Will return very soon."

"This is our New Years Eve tradition, and looks like our late lunch/early dinner idea to avoid crowds doesnt work any more.It is no longer sparse at this time.
The food is "good",nothing special. Hamburger was the best of the three. Bread over toasted for my Lobster Club. Steak Sandwich was more bread then anything. Waiter not memorable, but adequate and Very rushed. I DONT enjoy all the wait staff running amok everywhere. Its annoying. Glancing around the lovely yet small room, one sees wait staff dashing about everywhere and the ones hovering chatting near our table while we ate took away from this experience. Its hard to ignore the constant coming and going,rushing, bumping about the tables. Something really should be done about this."

"Elegant refinement at its best. Only negative point is the lack of roominess...the dining room is very crowded. Desite that, service is so good that you soon forget the sardine can feeling. Steak Diane and Crepes prepared at table sid with all the drama that includes. Several dishes on the menu are, like the above-mentioned two, are gems of the past that are fun to find still on the menu. Delightful dining experience overall."

"My wife and I pleasantly passed waiting time in a very energetic and vibrant bar, tended by master manager, Russell. We were seated within a half hour of our 8:30 reservation, at a table in a high traffic area. Our waiter, Paul, was very professional and very pleasant, as ell. Our food came out in a timely fashion, well prepared. Dessert was gratis from the hostess, as a "thanks" for waiting to be seated. In all, a fine experience!"
