"Unfortunately the restaurant has closed. It's one of my favoriates and the food is amazing but the service just leaves you stinging with questions as to why they are so miserable. Sad to see this place go, best sushi and salad!"

"One of the best meals of my life. I highly recommend the friend spinach... surprisingly my favorite thing that we ordered. The seschuan steak with matchstick potatoes was an amazing dish. Worth every bite!"

"China Grill was always one of my favorite restaurants. We were there on Mother's day and were very unhappy with this place. No more valet parking outside (it looked like it was going to rain). The menu changed a bit. We waitied 10 minutes for drinks to arrive (for a party of 3). We ordered 2 skirt steaks and 1 miso noodle dinner and a clamari salad. The salad was the best part of the dinner. The lo mein noodles that came with the steak tasted awful. Waiter didnt really offer to do much about this. I couldn't wait to pay check and leave. Don't think I'll be returning here anytime soon. I think alot of the problems have to deal with the restaurant being affiliated with Hilton hotels."

"I took my mother to the restaurant on Mother's Day, at first there was a girl who gave us our drinks was absolutely great and said was going to send out waiter to take the order. It took the waiter about 15 min to go to the table and that's because I told her that he had not been to our table yet, the place was pretty empty at the time it was around 6:30 and the waiter was in front of us the whole time and didn't even ask if we wanted any appetizers, I had to order with the girl and then later he finally came and I said we already ordered. After that I guess he realized that he wasn't giving us the attention we needed and was fine after. The food on the other hand was absolutely delicious as always."

"China grill is a great place, but what I don't appreciate is when the server tries to sell you the most expensive food on the menu or the most expensive wine......and that happens every time we go.
Also about the wine, Tuesday night at 50% off selected wine, that is not really true, we always get the B-Side which is 55$ but now on the 50% off list it is priced at 80$.........

"Boy... what happened this place went from excellent food to the pits. Everything has changed the food is not much better than garbage! I guess it's going the way of all over satisfied restaurants. Don't go, unless you just want to see beautiful mega yatchs."

"Food was not served timely. There was a lot going on at the bar and it took extra time to get our food. Not too much of a fan of crispy spinach even though it was a recommended dish, they were a little bitter to the palate. Other than that, my dish was delicious. I had Moroccan ossobuco lamb. I do recommend it."

"Started with a couple of rolls which were very good. Nothing to rave about though. I did enjoy the entrees more - we had duck two ways and short ribs. I did think that the portions were small for the price. So, I think its funny that this is a "sharing" restaurant, because the portions were not really big enough for more than 2 people to share. We usually always have food to bring home and at this restaurant - no leftovers. So, we ordered desert because we were still hungry. Now, those were huge. The wall of china was large enough to feed 4 or 5 people - oh the irony!!! Service was good until the end of our meal. It took a while to get the waitress to bring our check."

"This was our third time eating here. It's the only restaurant at the Hilton. Our kids like it (they are 8 & 13) but I would like to see more attention to them. Kids menu & coloring sheets wouldn't hurt. There were a lot of children dining there when we were."

"My husband & I were excitd inviting our Huston relative to happy hour & dinner. The 4 Margaritas were not great& bartenders were not very professional or friendly nor even paying attention to our requests.We passed that & were looking forward to dinner. Server was very welcoming BUT dinner started by bringing our guest the wrong entree,fixing it took more than 45 minutes without MOD being aware of problem,meanwhile my husband took two bites from his lamb ribs & the rest were all bones- Manager apologized & replaced our platter by another steak entree(we paid for).By then my plate got so cold & couldn't eat.Imagine all that happening to us inspite of introducing myself as an X China Grill employee happy & proud to go there w/guest"

"The service was poor. My girlfriend and I left after 20 minutes because no one came to our table and offered us a drink or a menu. My girlfriend asked for service and still no one came. I don't know if they were overwhelmed due to Valentine's Day... The food maybe good, but customer service needs attention. I am certain that I am not the only person that feels this way."

"The service started out slow, but our waiter quickly changed and all was very acceptable and he was pleasant. It took a very long time for our cocktails to arrive (the appetizers had already come before they brought the drinks)but otherwise service was good. The food was very good and while overall experience was good, I am not certain it was worth the $200+ price for two for dinner. That said, I would still reccomnend with a disclaimer.

"STAY AWAY! HORRIBLE VALENTINES DAY EXPERIENCE. Went to China Grill last night for Valentines Day and it RUINED our night. The server took 20 minutes to greet us, he poured our waters and spilled ice all over the table with no clean up, no apology.. the drinks took another 10 minutes to get (it wasn't busy either - it was 9pm). We ordered China Grill's r "valentines day pre fixe menu" and the server didn't give us the options he was supposed to then we waited an hour and 30 minutes for our food to finally come out, cold! Our meal took a few hours & we realized that he didnt even give us all of the food we were supposed to have that was one the pre fixe menu, he skipped two of the food apps!"

My waitress Natalie was Exelent!! it was not her fault...she just could not do anything about it!

Living my girlfriend without food so I had to share with her ,after we finish with my we got her's
That is how long it took to get the second dish..!! And the restaurant was not full at all.

"The food was delicious with a wide range of selections. The service was the worst I have ever experienced and the restuarant was not near capacity. The waitstaff ignores the dinner guests and makes every attempt to avoid eye contact. We had to pour our own wine and ordered a second bottle (due to the slow service the first bottle was gone prior to any food coming to the table). Needless to say, the second bottle was never brought to the table. The poor service ruined the meal despite the fact that the food itself was enjoyable."
