"Outstanding service, excellent food and the ambiance was marvelous!! I ordered from the Primetime menu which offers the entree, a starter and dessert for either $42 or $52. I selected the sirloin, a Caesar salad and bread pudding. The steak was cooked to perfection, and although the creamed spinach was supposed to be a personal side, it was enough for two people! The bread pudding was some of the best I've ever tasted. Can't go wrong with this restaurant, especially for a special occasion, well worth the money! Third time eating there and will not be my last."

"Ruth's Chris Steak House was AMAZING!!! My husband and I both went for the first time and fell in love. I love how personal the hostesses were, even the assistant servers referenced you by name. The manager was at the door to greet us and I saw both managers circulating the floor. My husband ordered spring water,tuna and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. There was a special for the entree that included a salad (which was HUGE!!!!) ,meat (we chose blackened salmon), and a side. My husband chose marinated mushrooms and I had mashed potatoes. For the price, the salmon was great, however, I would pay the price for a larger piece. But, with all the food I had, I couldn't even eat it all!! We also had dessert included-bread pudding and sorbet."

"We have celebrated several special occsions at Ruth's Chris in Huntsville and a couple of just "normal" dinners. We love the quality of the steaks and the service. It is pricey - but with that you get an outstanding meal. We have never been disappointed. In addition - I justify the price because I can take my leftovers and eat them for lunch the next day. It is quite a treat to get Ruth's Chris two days in a row! This was a celebration for our daughter who just got a great scholarship to school. They brought a HUGE - really - HUGE chocolate mousse as her dessert that was just fabulous. It makes for a special treat and made our daughter feel very special."

"Lamb chops over seasoned.Spinach too salty. Beans greasy probably tossed in butter. French fries were soft and greasy. Had we complained at the time we would have had to replace the whole meal . Fried squid starter also carried to much oil in the batter coating.

"I was a little disappointed in the service. One instance was that we could see that all the other tables had been provided baskets of bread, we had to specifically ask for it even though we had ordered salads and entree's, not just appetizers. Usually we have excellent service at this restaurant but if this had been our first time, and didn't know this was not the norm, I would never go back. When you spend that much on a meal you expect a little bit of 'better than diner' service."

"I have been to Ruth's Chris in Hsv on several occasions and in Biloxi on a couple of occasions and have never had a complaint until now. We arrived appx 20 mins prior to our reservation and we settled in at the bar while we waited on our table. I ordered a diet coke and took it with me to our table for dinner. I was later charged again for a refill. My husband ordered his ribeye med well and I ordered my petite filet med. His steak was med rare at best. He sent it back but of course by the time he got it back his side order of mushrooms were cold and his steak was then too hot to eat immediately. The bread we were offered before our meal was cold and the crumbs never scraped from the table. Service and food declining...."

"Our family of three had dinner at this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. It was my first time to eat here and will be my last. We ended up with a $219 bill (no alcohol) for a meal we could have gotten at Logan's for much much less. If the price had been 1/3 of the actual total I would have been OK with it but for the prices they charge my advice is to pass. The food was average and the service was lacking which just added to the pain."

"I was disappointed with our meal at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Huntsville, AL. We had cocktails before dinner that were pretty good and that may be the high point of the meal. The bread was pedestrian. The steaks (rib eye) were billed as "well marbled" and that is not an understatement. They were prepared as ordered and were flavorful but not particularly tender. The vegetables were also OK but ordinary. There was nothing remarkable about this meal to justify the price."
