"The reservation was easy and they even were super attentive to food allergies and answered all questions the staff was amazing and the food came very quickly and was unbelievable the filet was so tender like butter and the chocolate mousse dessert was out of this world best anniversary dinner we ever had we definitely will return next year"

"This was my first time at Buckley's. The steaks were excellent -- melted in your mouth. I had the oven bake oysters appetizer and it was outstanding. "I'm a big Capital Grille fan, but the slog into Burlington or Boston can be a bit much from where I live. I've finally found a close second and that's Buckley's! Service was great and the food was excellent. A little noisier that I would have liked, but it wasn't over the top. The restaurant is in an old tavern building so that adds to its character."

"Love the food. I had roasted oysters with roe and green onion as appetizer - delicious. Main course: shucked lobster with bearnaise sauce, filet mignon with red wine sauce,asparagus with garlic mashed potatoes which was amazing. My husband had prime rib with baked potato and green beans. He stated that prime rib was the best he has ever eaten. Wait staff were attentive without being intrusive. Overall a wonderful experience and will go again.
Ambience in dining room is classic New England with low background music that does not overwhelm ability to converse with companions.

"My husband and I went to Buckley's to celebrate our 27th Anniversary. From walking in the door to leaving we felt totally welcomed and relaxed. Everyone was friendly and professional.
The service was great. Our server checked in periodically without being interruptive. She noticed right away if we needed another drink or refill of water. The food was excellent. I ordered the blackened prime rib and it was perfect. My husband had sirloin and it too was delicious. We ordered 1/2 salads (one caesar and one house) which were both good size portions, that we could've got one 1/2 salad and shared it. But glad we didn't because they were so delicious. My husband ordered the"just a bite" dessert and that was a perfect size after a full meal."

"The filet was tasty, but not outstanding - there was no depth of flavor - certainly a surface flavor of the wood smoke though.
Crabcake stuffed haddock was terrible. Knowing that Buckley's sister restaurant is Surf , I felt safe that the haddock dish would be great. NOT so. First, the "haddock"-I would bet that it was not - was not Stuffed with a crab cake. A small and processed tasting crab cake was sitting on top of the fish. Very disappointing in flavor and size considering the price especially. Growing up in coastal Maine, I know good seafood and this was NOT. The risotto was unpleasant to look at but had some good flavors.

"This is our third visit to Buckley's and as before the steaks were outstanding, the sides creative, and everything was cooked perfectly. Also as usual they were very busy. While our waitress was attentive and did check in from time to time, the service was a bit slow and our waitress went missing on a few occasions. We ordered a pre-made desert to go, and it took 15 minutes to arrive after we paid our check. That said, the dessert was excellent.
Buckley's is well worth a visit. The prices are reasonable for a higher end Steak House, the food is fantastic, and the ambiance of the old farmhouse is very nice."

"Great restaurant! We were instantly greeted and after a short wait we were brought to our table. We had a extremely attentive waiter that had excellent knowledge of the menu. Our meal took a while to come from the kitchen but it was nice to not feel rushed and when the food came it was cooked perfectly and was delicious! The dessert was fantastic too! "This was our 5th time at Buckley's and first time alone as a couple. The occasion was for our 15th Wedding Anniversary, and thus I had requested a seat close to a fire several weeks in advance. However, due to the amount of people, we were seated where there was room, which unfortunately was next to a drafty window, as well as another couple who were obviously inebriated. This other couple had problems with volume control and my wife and I found out more about their personal life than we would have liked to. Definitely took away from the ambiance for us. As usual, the service was outstanding. Our server was timely, knowledgeable and polite. The food was excellent. We both had the Surf & Turf and the fillets were cooked spot-on."

We started with the crab cakes as an appetizer which was ok. There was a lot of shell and/or cartlidge but it's understanding with crab. He ordered the rib eye, mashed and asparagus. One bite into the perfectly cooked and seasoned wood-grilled filet mignon told me that this restaurant is such a cut above the normal mediocre dining experience. "We frequent Buckley's for special times. This particular time it was disappointing. My husband's prime rib was the wrong one. He wanted the standard 12, but received the dry-aged instead. The last time we were there a customer had an issue and it took so long to get a replacement meal. So he decided not to send it back. Our cocktails were also a bit watered-down.
We'll be back, but hopefully it will be a better experience."

"This was our 22 year Anniversary and we were very confident that we had chosen the right place. We left in total shock about our meals. The chef does not know how to cook steak. My wife had the filet and it was burnt(charred) on one side. He/she should have never let it out of the kitchen. What a shame. She ate it, but should have sent it back. I had the prime rib and ordered it medium rare, just as my wife had, and it was beyond medium and the waiter agreed as well. He was great by the way, but the prime rib was disappointing to say the least. I sent it back reluctantly because this disrupted my wifes meal. The next try wasn't any better and the piece was mostly fat. I was thinking that it was payback for sending it back."

"i have been to dine on several occasions and me and my wife have sat at the bar. servive was great along with meals. i had the tuna my wife had the filet migion.
last time we sat in the main dining area with a party of 6 and 3 of us ordered the 12oz prime rib medium rare and the meat was very tuff. 1 filet mignio was ordered medium rare and came out well done. for a bill over $300.00 should have been better."

Our food was another story. Risotto was way too salty, steak was med rare rather than the medium I reqiested and not very tender even cooked on the rare side. I had the strip loin, my husband had the cowboy steak - his was cooked properly, but no flavor and also not tender condsidering that the steaks are aged. I have had better meals at Longhorn Steakhouse and for the price, we will not be back. I had wanted to try Buckley's for years. I think we will stick to Longhorn- those steaks are always juicy, cooked perfect and are packed w/flavor."

"I have dined here many times. What I can tell you is Buckley's should drop "Great Steaks" from their name as the steak is not on par with other steakhouses in this price range; not even close.
That being said, the service is always very good and you will find a better value (and less disappointment) if you try entree's other than steak.

"Friends have been coming here for years and we finally made a visit ourselves. Everything was fantastic - what an amazing experience. We are from the Dracut, MA area and if it were just a little bit closer I'd be there a couple of times a month!
The drinks (Cosmo, wine, coffee), the apps (seared scallops, shrimp tempura, ricotta gnocchi with basil pesto sauce), the entrees (prime, rib, filet, mixed gril)and desserts (sorbet) were all outstanding...and the four of us tend to be critical foodies!"

"Service and food were superb. There was a certain level of background noise, but this was due to the crowded and extremely busy time we were there. Parking was problematic,but also due to the volume of customers. However, the two categories that counted most for us was: Superb Service and outstanding food. The ability to make reservations online was very convenient too... We'll be back again soon."
