"Food was good and fresh. Salad with mustard vinegrette very tasty. Disappointed in service. Halibut good but had many bones. Tables situated WAY TOO close for comfort. We sat a table for two right by front door. Felt squished up against a wall. Plus table next to us was very annoying, mostly because tables were 5 inches apart. I learned more about these people than I cared. Our waiter never asked us if we wanted an appetizer or salad. We had to ask another wait staff for water. Food came out promptly but waiter never checked with us after food came out."

"Pretty darn outstanding authentic Italian food with good sized portions for all entrees. The Rack of Lamb and Salmon dishes were pretty amazing. The ravioli appetizer was special, wish there were more than 3 ravoili's thought"

"That kitchen rocks! The burratta app was so soft and luscious as was the prosciutto, tomato and roasted pepper that accompanied it. Homemade butternut squash ravioli in sage butter sauce was the kind of dish you don't want to end. Spaghettini with shrimp in garlic and oil, a simple dish but so perfectly balanced that it was elevated to something else. We literally couldn't eat another bite and refused dessert but the menu looked excellent."

"We were in town for a one-time business event. So, it's unlikely we'll get a chance to go back. But we will if the opportunity arises.
We both had wine, which was good and we had two different pasta dishes. Both were nice."

"Lanrerna is a very gourmet type restaurant. However, some of the appetizer portions, such as the three raviolis, are quite small. The veal milanese that I ordered was actually overcooked, which was a disppointment. The menu was somewhat limited."

"This is the second time that I have attended Lanterna Tuscan Bistro and I have been thrilled both times. The food is outstanding. There are dietary restrictions available - gluten free and vegetarian options for people with sensitivities which was wonderful. I plan on bringing back some friends very soon. The only thing I can say is that it was pretty loud and difficult to have a romantic dinner with my hubby."

"The polenta al forno appetizer was amazing! Have dined here many times and food is always excellent, menu is extensive plus at least half a dozen specials. Service is courteous and attentive. "I went to Lanterna for a belated Valentine's celebration with my Beau and the environment was very romantic. I go out in Nyack quite frequently but had never noticed the restaurant tucked away. It is not very big and there was a group of 10 people sitting by us, who at times got quite loud, but otherwise I have no complaints about the evening. I am a huge foodie and the menu was quite adventurous as compared with the other Italian restaurants in the area. I plan on going back for another date night or even a night out with the girls."

"We went to Lanterna Tuscan Bistro for Valentine's day dinner and although it was packed NYC style (a foot between each table of two), the food did not suffer in the slightest. The service was great and we really enjoyed our meal. Having tried almost all of the restaurants in Nyack this one has to be in our top 3 if not our favorite."
