"Nothing other than the cost of the food stood out to us. We could tell the restaurant is geared mostly toward visitors in Chicago that stay at the attached hotel. The steak's taste didn't complement the almost $50 price tag. It was an expensive and just "okay.""

"Great food. Some of the best the city has to offer.
This was the second time we have been there. We waited two years to go to try other places. We should have never waited that long. Our only concern was that the our dinner server was not as pleasant as our first experience. The bartenders were very good though and were very helpful. Overall a very good experience."

"Substantially overpriced for the quality of the food and the ambiance. Hard to get out of there with a simple meal for less than $80 all in. The food, including the steak (their speciality), is solid, but personally I don't want to spend $40+ on a piece of steak. Ambiance is unremarkable -- sports themed. Somewhat noisy. If you do dine there, and are a Starwood Preferred Guest, bring your number for a 10% discount."

"I couldn't get the time I wanted (7 p.m.) but when I arrived at 7:30 the place was nearly empty (not a good sign). I ordered grilled salmon. It arrived floating in oil and very greasy. I had a stomach ache later that evening. I won't go back."

"The food was good but one med/rare steak was served well to one of our guest. That should never happen at "FineDining" steak house. The service was poor. The waitress was intrusive when she came around and no where to be seen when one needed her. 20-25 min between courses, even when they are busy, is too long. Bottom line is they seem to be living on their laurels and I for one won't be back."

"It was my Birthday on Monday and we celebrated that evening at Chicago's Shula's for the first time. I have dined at Shula's in South Florida several times, but never in Chicago. It lived up to and/or surpassed all my expectations from my previous experiences and I appreciate the service we recieved on a nice quiet Monday evening, it was a very pleasant way to spend my Birthday!"

the famous lobster is not the only thing missing, the quality of service and food (steaks) was appalingly poor.
Horrid wine list, no porterhouse in stock (you must be joking), indifferent waiters.
only the table bus person showed any class or interest

"We had dinner there for Valentine's Day, and it was honestly phenomenonal! We had a great time with the bartender. He was really friendly, and talked to us for a couple minutes at a time because of other guests. Kudos! Once our table was ready, the busser was there with our water, and he was friendly as well. Our server, Milen, was the best! He was energetic, knowledgable, entertaining, and overall fantastic. We enjoyed our entire meal, no complaints. We definitely recommended Shula's to our friends and co-workers."
