"Fun and unusual dining in downtown DC -- in the Grand Hyatt. Choose from a booth or a variety of other dining places, pick your meal according to the size of your appetite (3, 4 or 5 pieces). Food is tasty and tapas style. I did the green salad -- anything but pedestrian -- and the slice of the day and a double slider. All were great. And do the Arnold Palmer -- unique service! I've been 3 times, with different folks -- all loved the food and the unusual food presentation."

"Had high expectations of this place, but it disappointed in almost every way. Service was responsive, but servers had little ability to converse about the menu and it took longer to get our food to the table than seemed necessary. located in Grand Hyatt Hotel.. Where we sat felt like you're siting in an atrium. The food was simply not good. it was undistinguished in every way, except portion size was generous. To add insult to injury, we had been told that the restaurant validated parking. when we went to get our car, the charge was $28 (with a validation!!!!!), but turns out because we were in the restaurant more than two hours (by about 7 minutes), we had to pay full parking charge. That was the final blow. Not worth it on any count."

"Once again, Cure proved itself as a neat place for lunch. The food--and the service--are just terrific. It's such a unique concept. I keep bringing guests with me to Cure and they are always impressed---the food, service and ambience. Never disappointed."

"a disclaimer. It should be said in BOLD somewhere that this restaurant is attached to the Grand Hyatt. All the pictures on the site show this restaurant to be a small intimate setting when in reality part of the restaurant is wide open to this HUGE atrium of a hotel. The food was good and service was wonderful but it's distracting to be able to see people walking through the hotel."

"Great food, creative beverages. Have been there for both lunch and dinner each with slightly different dining experiences. Really love the pick you menu lunch... a personal selection of small plates served on one."

"Our group of four went here for an early-pre-show dinner (6:45), so the restaurant was not very busy. While the food was outstanding, the kitchen sent it out "when it was ready", instead of timing the prep such that it all came out at once. As a result, one person was done eating before another had received their main course. When we asked the waitress, she said that was how the kitchen worked. If we were there at 9 pm and the kitchen was slammed, or we were a very large party, I would have accepted that answer. However, as the place was practically empty and we were only a table of four, I think this was just poor time-management."

"Took my teenage son here for lunch during a day on the town. Small plates are great for adults and children, but a bit small for a growing 17 year old teenager. Great deal otherwise for dining in the city. Very attentive staff, but we were one of four or five small groups/diners at noon on a Wednesday. I felt very welcome and valued by the staff. They were friendly and attentive. We sat by the fireplace and views of the restaurant and hotel were nice."

"good meal, good service, interesting menu -- unless you are looking for a place with a fair amount of drunken/loud patrons, avoid Cure during happy hour."

"More of a bar than a restaurant, they have a variety of small plates. The crispy brussel spouts were wonderful as was the garlic sausage. The meatballs had a lot of potential, but there was a fair amount of sugar in the sauce. Added a little balsamic vinegar to the meatballs that cut the sugar and enhanced the flavor of the meatballs.
Because of the layout of the place, our waiter was not as attentive as he could have been, but since we were not in a hurry, it was OK. He was very pleasant and friendly."

"The food was great, but we were seated at the bottom level which feels like you are in the middle of a mall (the restaurant is in a hotel). I would definitely recommend this place, but just get seated above the bottom level."
