"The service was slow and without followup...we had to get the waitress and bring her to our table to place our order. The noise level was not energetic...it was LOUD..We had to shout at each other to be heard. Food was boring but very edible. Not an interesting experience...did not stand out... Not likely to return"

"The food was very good and the service was good. All 3 of us had a wonderful meal cooked the way we like it and enjoyed the fact that we had a very comfortable booth instead of a table in the middle of the room. It made it seem more private. The waiter was friendly but did not linger at the table after taking the order which was good. All in all, a great dining experience on Mother's Day!"

"Nice, quiet ambiance, excellent menu - wide variety to choose from. Had "Asian Nachos" appetizer, perfect dish, loved it. Followed by garlic shrimp ravioli, equally yummy! Less thrilled with the double chocolate brownie for dessert - just a personal preference, but I expect brownies to be thick, dense and heavy - this one was more like a sponge cake. Still tasted great, though!"

"Scott our server was so great; our friends were celebrating their anniversary n before we could request it he had cake n sparkles ready for desert time.
The food was good. We had the Asian nachos, lobster cakes & fried calamari. For the main course we had surf n turf, New York steak & chipotle sirloin. Steaks were awesome n cooked as requested to perfection."

"Service was poor. The server was disinterested and pre-occupied. She forgot elements of our orders-no ccroutons for example. She preferred to pay attention to larger groups-speaking with them and exchanging wit. Our table of three didn't get this kind of friendly attention. We considered speaking to the manager but decided to just leave it and not go back."

"We stand behind the good food served at Canyon Creek restuarants and will continue to recommend with caution. Our fourth visit to this location was a complte dissapointment.
The food was up to par,unfortunetely kitchen service timing didn't stand up. We had over one (1) hour for salad starter to arrive and another 20 min. for our main courses. The manager did try to accomodate the long wait by offering complimentary dessert & coffee, at 10:30pm was way beyond any time for sweets. Thanks for the VIP discount."

"It is our hope that this bad experience was a blip in our overall great experiences at the Canyon Creek chain. The potatoes soup was luke warm at best with no flavor, the club sandwich came with soggy bread and a blob of chicken and I woulld have been better off with a Baconator from Wendy's than the burger they served me."

"Drinks and appetizers came quick and were fine. Dinner took for ever and when it showed up steaks and prime rib was cold , had to send it back. Wait staff seemed frazzled and too busy.could not handle the crowd. We saw people that arrived after us get their meal first. At the end server told us manager was going to deliver our bill and speak to us and that didn't happen. My bussiness is around the corner and have taken quite a few clients their for lunch, but this was the first time I took my family for a celebration and the experience was not pleasant."

"Canyon Creek has always been a favourite restaurant. Since the menu changed over a year ago, I have found the quality of the beef to be less than its standard premium quality. And the new menu selections, have become mainstream which can be seen on most menus across the city. In my opinion, the new menu has lost it's wow factor. This is not the first occasion we have been disappointed. But, on this occasion, the baked potato was cold, not warm. The steak and prime rib was both grisly and warm-cool. It was very disappointing. The table service was very good. I commend our server, she was very friendly and attentive; we tipped her well. The reason we switched was for the prime rib, unfortunately, we will be searching for a new restaurant"

"My husband and I enjoyed the 5 at 5 on Wednesday night. It was absolutely perfect for us as we love Canyon Creek food. This concept is brillant as it gives you a chance to try something you normally wouldn't. The sliders are delicious. We included a ceasar salad to share with a number of the appetizers. The pinot grigio selection was very good.
We normally go to the restaurant across from Sherway but decided to try the Airport location. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Sitting in the bar area is perfect. We will definitely be returning to this location and will recommend to others."

"My boyfriend and I went here for dinner for valentines day. We've been to this restaurant - at another location - many times. We both ordered prime rib which was fantastic. However, our service was less than pleasant. Our waiter was gone throughout our whole meal, during which my drink was empty the whole time, when we ordered a small brownie to split for dessert, he rolled his eyes and we were brought & charged for a large brownie, and our bread basket, my starter salad, and all of our dishes were not taken from our table. We had to ask other waitresses for water and our bill, who were very helpful and pleasant. The manager was also very accommodating about the situation, but I don't think that we will be returning to this location again."
