"I had brought my parents for Mother's day. They have never been there before. My Mother loves rare Prime Rib and I had called a few days before and that morning to make sure that they had it. I was assured that they would reserve some for my Mother. When we got there and finally sat down (after waiting about 1/2 hour), they immediately brought us a spinich dip to apologize for the wait. When we went to order we were told that they do not have Prime rib in anything less than Medium rare. The waiter alerted the manager and they fixed the issue right then and my Mother got the Prime Rib she wanted. It was a great night and they fixed any issue immediately. We all had a great experience, great food and we will definetly be back."

"Food and service were excellent. We've never had anything there that wasn't good. Splitting the chopped salad is always a treat and the crab crusted cod and pork chops were a cut above. Ålthough the restaurant was at capacity everything ran smoothly and you didn't feel rushed--one of our favorites."

"We had a party of 5 that went to the Wildfire in Oakbrook! All expectations were exceeded in every facet of celebrating our daughters graduation from college. Our server Anthony was tremendous as he seemed to know when you needed something without hounding us. So in a nutshell, from the service, to food, to drinks everyone had a great time...WE WILL RETURN!"

"I have eaten here before and had a good experience. The service was fair but I have had a run of poor service so this is not really saying much. The waiter was very I inattentive did not seem to care a put our table. I am not sure whether I ordered incorrectly, but the steak I had was just mediocre. I can do better ony grill at home. All in all a very mediocre meal and not worth the price spent. Will consider elsewhere in the future. Something was very different than the last time I was there."

"The waiter was very knowledgeable and attentive. I had a great Mother's Day dinner. The small steaks crusted with your choice of topping including mushrooms and horseradish were very tender and flavorful. I also enjoyed the au gratin potatoes. The key lime pie was outstanding! The key lime was very fresh and the crust was soft and melted in my mouth. I will never forget this diner."

"I always want to go to Wildfire for a good steak. Most of the time we can't get in because it's so busy. This time we were able to get an Open Table reservation. This time the ribeye was the worst steak ever served. My wife was shocked that the chief ever let the steak leave the kitchen. The manager did what he could to make it right. It was a sad day. We are not in any big rush for another meal there."

"I heard many good things about this restaurant. I expected a pretty good meal and great service, which is why I took my mom here for Mother's Day. I was highly disappointed with my experience there. Perhaps it was just a bad night for them, however I can't say that I'm willing to drop so much money on the off chance I will have a better experience. The steaks weren't good, the salmon over cooked and the sides were all messed up. I was well aware I would be paying a decent amount of money for this meal, however I expected more for my money."

"This was our second trip here, and even thought it was the evening of Mothers Day, everything was superb. The filets that they serve are just so good, especially when ordering them with a crust, such as parmesan, bernaise, or lobster. The baked potatoes are huge and are actually hard to finish. The best choice is the sweet potato that is served with butter and brown sugar. What a perfect dinner!"

"My experience at Wildfire was awesome!!! I took my mom there for mother's day and she loved it. The reservations I had made online for some reason did not go through so I called and they said that they would still add my name to the list but there will be a wait and expect to sit at one of the high tops. The manager I had spoke too gave me a pager and told me it would be just a few minutes. Not even 5 minutes later we were seated at one of the booths........I was thrilled!!! The manager's name was Hasif (I hope I have the name right) very professional and accommodating. The food was great there was a slight delay on our entrees but one of the managers came over and offered us dessert on the house :) Overall a great experience!!!!!"

"The food was good however in my opinion, because it was Mother's Day, and we had a party of 6, I literally believed they didn't turn anyone away. We felt squashed into a corner, as if they put another table in the spot where we sat. The quarters were definitely tight. Thank goodness the people who were sitting behind us were children and their parents were sat on the oppositie side. The waiter servicing our table was good and attentive and nothing was left undesireable. I've dined here before and enjoyed the dinner but I definintely won't go again on a busy day as Mother's Day again."

"Our table was ready for our 3 PM reservation, notwithstanding a sizable Mother's Day crowd. Service was professional, attentive and timely. Waiter's recommendations were appreciated. Soups, salads and entrees were excellent. Steaks were cooked to our specifications. Halibut entree was exceptionally good. Overall, an outstanding dining experience that we thoroughly enjoyed."

"I made a reservation for 4 for Friday, May 10th at 7pm. This was for my daughters graduation from Loyola University. We were running late so I called at 6:30pm to let them know. I was told that if we did not get there by 7:15pm, we would have to wait in line like everyone else. I explained that the graduation took longer and traffic was bad. I was again told that after 7:15pm, we would lose our reservation and would have to wait in line like everyone else. The wait was about 1 1/2 hours."

"Wildfire is my favorite restaurant -- and this visit was no disappointment -- but kudos to our server, although Wildfire was jumping and all tables were full --- we never once felt neglected, forgotten or left behind. Our server was one of the best we've had at Wildfire --- keep up the good work -- and the food was as incredible as usual, keep the great cooks too!"

"I am very dissatisfied with the seating arrangement! My family of eight sat a small card table, and if of wasn't a special occasion I WOULD HAVE LEFT. What a shame. I could saved hundreds of dollars and sat in comfort at McDonald's."

"We ate at Wildfire during a Saturday mid-afternoon. The restaurant was very busy and we took that to be a good sign of popularity. However, we each found our dishes to be unnecessarily rich and somewhat overcooked. Also, the noise level was high enough to make conversation difficult. Perhaps it would be better to seek out this place during an off-peak time."

"As always, the the Oakbrook Wildfire has awesome food. My only repeated complaint has to do with the waitstaff. The last three occasions I've been there, it takes too long to get acknowledged by the waitstaff. Then when you finally do get to give your drink order, expect to wait another 25 minutes for it, then another 20 minutes for the waiter or waitress to return for your meal. After you finally order the food delivery time is short. The restaurant should consider hiring more waitstaff or a more efficient group. It should not take a little over 2 hours to have lunch. Otherwise the food is great!
The complimentary valet parking during lunch is a nice perk."

"This restaurant is very popular, and a reservation is highly recommended. The food and service is very good. You may have to wait a little bit, even though you made reservations, depending on the party seated before you (lingering guests). The management is very aware of this and will do thier best to accomodate you. On our visit, we were given an appitizer on the house for our wait. The restaurant has a very good wine list and Martini Bar. Overall, it is a very good restaurant and I would recommend for any special occasion."

"This was by far the worst service experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We had two servers, one read the specials and got our drinks and the other one took our food order. They were both fairly rude, never introduced themselves or asked if everything was okay. The food runner brought out our food and we didnt see our server again until after a busser cleared our table. Not seeing your server for over 30 minutes is not acceptable. Luckily the food was great, but if there were something wrong with our meal or we needed a condiment, new fork, etc. the food would have been cold by the time we got it. I will not be returning."
