"One word sums it up: Fantastic! The food was as excellent as I remember from 4 years ago and so was the service. In fact, we had the exact same waiter. Though, it was louder than the last time, but the two days were perfect contrasts of each other. Four years ago it was Halloween and we had the place to ourselves. This time it was Valentine's night and it was packed. Often, when a place is buy for a holiday service lacks, but not so at the Capital Grille, especially if you have Matt."

"This is one of our favorite restaurants..everytime we come to Texas we eat here. It was valetines day this time and unfortunately I had to send my steak back, after a few times of sending back because my husband wanted to eat with me and then his was dry due to waiting on mine, they were more than willing to meet both my husband and my needs though. They redid both our steaks so we could eat together and took care of the check. This is something that happens at every steak house, yet Capital Grill is so professional and we truely appreciate it."

"The Capital Grille was the perfect choice for us to celebrate an early Valentine's Day dinner. We had visited the Capital Grille in Washington, DC while visiting there, but we wanted to see what the Capital Grille in our own Dallas backyard was like. We were not disappointed. The ambiance was lovely, the service amazing and the food! Oh my, the food was out of this world! The lobster macaroni & cheese should be patented! It's amazing!! Everything was just perfect. We had drinks beforehand in the bar, which was equally as charming. I'd HIGHLY recommend this place! You won't be disappointed!! Enjoy!"

"We have been to Capital Grille with much success before, so we attended again with a guest for my husband's 40th birthday. Capital Grille did not disappoint. While the menu is pricey, the experience is worth every penny. Food was outstanding, drinks were outstanding, service was to the moon. Our server, Colby, ensured that we had a wonderful, memorable evening. We would go back again in a heartbeat. Oh, and I recommend asking the wait-staff questions, they are happy to oblige for food and drink choices, and their responses were ultimately spot on."

"My husband and I have visited most steak restaurants in the DFW area. This was our first visit to Capital Grille. We had 8:15 reservations but were told they were running 15 minutes behind when we arrived. We were offered a complimentary cocktail while we waited. The 15 minutes turned into 40 minutes but it was not an unpleasant wait. Once seated the waiter brought calamari "on the house" because of our extended wait. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. The atmosphere was among the best of places we've been with an eclectic mix of diners. My only complaint is that the wine list is not as extensive as other area top end restaurants. I definitely recommend Capital Grille to others wanting a pleasant experience."

"The wait staff was exceptional and extremely welcoming to our two 7-year old boys! In a lovely restaurant that certainly did not have to cater to their needs, our waiter took such good care of them. He even suggested menu items specially adapted for them and even cut their filets! It was a treat all the way around and made a very special trip to Dallas even more special. I highly recommend it to anyone."

"Reservations for 8:15. Not seated until 9:05. Maitre D used the lame excuse that "these people won't leave" instead of admitting you had overbooked. Some sort of gracious acknowledgement could have turned this around-but we won't be back."

"This restaurant compliments the Capital Grill's name. Each had a very good steak, 3 different cuts, cooked as ordered and served at exactly the same time. The service, from the time we entered the restaurant until we left was outstanding. We were given exactly the table we asked for and treated as if we were the restaurant's favorite customer. I have dined at several Capital Grill restaurants and this is my 2nd favorite."

"Food - Outstanding... wedge and chopped salads were incredible; Delmonico steaks were cooked to perfection and melted in our mouths; creamed spinach and mashed potatos were great.
Ambiance - Fair - ambiance isn't bad, just wasn't what I expected. We were seated in a corner at a 2 top. It was difficult to hold a conversation without repeating yourself several times, which was a bit of a downer for what was meant to be a romantic evening for my wife and I.
Service - wasn't bad but was a little odd. Things just seemed a bit out of order/sorts. We ordered a specific wine based on the waiters suggestion and he brought the wrong one. He brought us warm towels at the end of the meal... twice."
