"We made a reservation for this place on a Monday . The restaurant wasn't full, as to be expected on a Monday after Mother's Day, but we figured we would give the place a try as we've driven past many times and not previously stopped in. The decor made us feel like we were in Italy, and we loved the murals on the walls. Our server, Jamie, was attentive and courteous. The food was very flavorful. We will definitely be back."

"My wife and I were pleased overall with the dinner and atmosphere of your restaurant. My wife did indicate that her chicken dinner was a bit gamey, but other than that, the food was very good. The service was excellent. I would recommend it to others.
Thanks,
John"

"Have been to this place many times and it is never a disappointment. Love the booths in the bar where they have TV's playing. Everything about this place is good."

"From the moment we walked in the service was outstanding. Our waitress was very attentive to out needs and the food was great. My only complaint is that the drinks were expensive ($9.50 for a glass of red wine)."

"The Italian Affair is a neighborhood gem. The food is fantastic! The homemade Limoncello is better than what I drank in Italy and their homemade Limoncello cake is light and delicious - like eating a little bit of summer happiness. There were 10 of us in our party and each of us had a different meal, all of us were extremely pleased with our dinners. The servers were friendly and helpful, checked back on us often, provided drinks, coffee, tea and refills without having to wait. The breads and pastas are all homemade; there are your typical Italian dishes like chicken and veal, mixed in with non-American Italian dishes like Rabbit and Boar. There are choices of dinner specials, small plates and regular sized dinner entrées, which come with"

"Enjoyed the food and staff was great! Only complaint was mopping of floor while people were still eating. The smell of pinesol mixed with great Italian food is not pleasant at all!! I will go back, but will make reservations earlier in the day to avoid the evening cleanup!"

"I've dined here several times and have never been disappointed. With each dining experience the food is prepared to perfection and the service is excellent. The table is waiting at the reservation time."

"First time there, and was looking forward to a great dining experience. Well things did not go very well! It took way too long to get our salads, and even longer for the meal! During the 20 minutes [I'm being kind] we waited, the waiter came back three times to apologize for the long wait. When I finally got mine I was sorry it came at all!! The filet mignon was to have been medium. It was well done with the outside well charred. The lobster tail was also overcooked. The one thing on the platter that was outstanding was the broccoli rabe. Actually, it was to die for. The best I've ever had!! Don't know what happened but it was taken off the bill. My wife's meal on the other hand was excellent. She had a pasta and seafood dish."

"The service was terrible. We got seated on time but then waited 10 minutes before our waiter even showed up. He wasn't even supposed to be our waiter because our waitress just up and left. The food was satisfactory but I have definitely had better Italian Food. The main dining room is large with lots of tables pretty close together. That means it is very loud. I had a hard time hearing my wife across the table from me for most of the evening until it started thinning out around 8:30. Probably would not go back anytime soon."

"The Itialian Bistro was nice but a little crowded in the dinning area. The tables were close to gether and there was not a lot of room to get between them. The food was okay. Not very much flavor to it. Dessert was disappointing for the cost. Overall I was happy with the service. The waiter was friendly and on top of refills and any other needs we might have had. We go to this restuarant at least once a year weither it is for our anniversary or valentines day."

"We booked the reservation a month in advance for Valentine's Day. Very disappointed that we could not order off the regular menu. That was not disclosed when made the reservation. All I wanted was their spinach and peas with pasta. Doesnt seam that hard to make. The restaraunt was only half full so not too crwoded and the prices also looked inflated to me. This isnt a cheap restaraunt to begin with for what you get. We ended up leaving and going to another restaraunt.A few years ago we went there and were again not happy with the service. They messed up my husbands dinner and it took over an hour to get another. I ended up eating by myself that year. I swore I would never return. Sorry I changed my mind and gave them another sh"

"Our party of six enjoyed everything from the service, appetizers, soup, salad, entrees to the fantastic desserts. My chicken Paisano was outstanding. Our group is fussy, and to have a unanimous vote of excellence is very rare. We will be back for sure."
