"After a self-imposed ban from the Capital Grille SJ (where they told me that my horribly under-cooked steak was cooked correctly, I just didn't know how to order a steak!) we found the William Douglas Steakhouse in Cherry Hill. We've eaten there several times and have enjoyed it each time. Perfectly prepared steaks, sides (try the tater tot casserole or the Brussels sprouts) and aps such as their Philly cheese steak flat-bread. Here's the best kept secret in Cherry Hill...Ready? Sit at the bar, order a drink from the bar menu and watch one of the most talented bartenders in the region, Victor, prepare you a perfect cocktail. Order from the bar menu or the full restaurant menu and watch the game on their flat-screen TVs. Highly recommend!"

"The quality of steaks for this meal was very low--each in our party had extreme fat levels and overly chewy meat. The drinking water reeked strongly of fish. The highlight of the meal was dessert, but even those lacked in the freshness expected for the price asked. We don't mind spending a lot of money for a high quality meal, but to pay what we did for the quality we received was painful. The experience was just a disappointment--especially on a special day."

"Have been to William Douglas steakhouse several times and have always enjoyed our meal. This past Mother's Day, however, we found the steakhouse to be disappointing. Although our reservation was early evening, several menu items were not available, and though the restaurant was not particularly crowded, service was uneven. We asked that tableware be replaced as some items did not look particularly clean. One cocktail was returned as poorly made. Salad greens seemed a little wilted and one salad was not properly prepared, however all of our meal entrées were satisfactory; we all passed on the dessert menu. William Douglas is not an inexpensive steakhouse and, quite frankly, we expected a far better overall meal experience than we received."

"I have been to WD several times before and were never disappointed however this time was different. The food quality and presentation were not that good at all the the prices have soared for the little bit of food you get. There are way better places to eat. Needless to say we won't be going back."

"This was a superior dining experience. I am a hardcore Ruth's Chris fan and this meal proved william douglas the better steakhouse. The drinks were dangerously good. I am not a big drinker but they perfectly paired liquors with fruits and vegetables for drinks that showcased the science behind the drink and showed the mastery of our mixologist. The food was incredible whether steak or seafood. It was my brothers birthday and they printed happy birthday on the menus and gave him one rolled up with ribbon to comemmorate the evening as well as putting candles in the chocolate lava cake. The lobster mac is a must have and is big enough to be an entree. I had surf and turf with what was the best lobster tail I've had. You won't be disappointed."

"The place was not busy and and after I was seated it took over 10 minutes before a waiter appeared to take my order. Waited over 15 minutes for my appetizer and salad to come out. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium well and it came back medium rare. It was a horrible experience. It did not meet my expectation. I would have a better service at Chili's."

"Very nice place. The food was outstanding (especially the tater-tot thing). The service was good, though a little slow. The only "bad" thing was that the bar has two televisions that played espn on them. While thats great if you're at Applebee's, it cheapens th romantic feel of this high-dollar eatery. I would recommend removing them or putting up some kind of divider. People don't go there to "watch the game"."
